OptimAI Network is a decentralized AI infrastructure platform. You run a node on your computer, in Chrome or on your phone, and it pays you in OptimAI tokens.
But the tokens do not have any monetary value yet, because the project has not launched, and you cannot withdraw them. There is no guarantee your efforts will be rewarded. I would only join if you believe in its potential, and find other ways to earn cash in the meantime.

My experience with OptimAI Network
I signed up for OptimAI Network, looked at the three node types, did the missions and checked the wallet and support options. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is OptimAI Network legit and safe?
You can really earn OptimAI tokens, but whether they will ever be worth anything is not certain. These are the catches.
- The tokens have no value yet
The project has not launched, so the tokens have no monetary value and stay in your OptimAI Network wallet. There is no guarantee you will be able to withdraw them.
- Hidden costs
Signing up is free, but the Core node needs your computer to stay on, and the Edge node drains your phone battery a lot faster.
- Identity check later
I expect you will have to verify your identity (KYC) if and when the tokens launch. That is how it has been with other similar platforms I have tested.
- No help section
There is no Help or FAQ section, so every question goes to support on Telegram, Discord or email.
My takeOptimAI Network is not a bad platform to earn rewards passively, but you cannot earn real money on it now. Only join if you believe in its potential. If you want cash, see the alternatives below.
How to earn on OptimAI Network
There are three ways to earn OptimAI tokens. Tap each one to read more.
Running a nodeOptimAI tokens
This is the main way to earn. When I tested it, there were three nodes: Core, software for Windows, Mac and Ubuntu computers; Lite, a Google Chrome extension; and Edge, an app for Android and iOS.
A node shares your unused internet bandwidth and your device’s computing power with a decentralized AI network. In return, the network pays you OptimAI tokens. Once the node is set up, you just let it run in the background.
Keep the costs in mind: with the Core node, you cannot shut down your computer, and the Edge node drains your phone battery a lot faster.
MissionsSmall, one-time
When I tested it, all the missions asked me to connect my social media accounts or follow OptimAI’s social media pages. They are easy, but limited, so do not expect much from them.
Referral program10%, 5% and 2.5%
Share your referral link or code. People who sign up through it and set up a node become your referrals. You earn a 10% commission on what they earn from their nodes, 5% on what their referrals earn, and 2.5% one level further down.
It only pays when you invite people who are truly interested in the platform.

How much can you make?
It is hard to say, because the tokens have no monetary value yet. How many tokens you earn depends on how often you run the node. OptimAI is not clear about how many tokens you get per gigabyte you share.
Based on my experience with similar platforms, do not expect a lot of tokens. Passive income apps do not have very high earning potential, and tokens from this kind of platform do not tend to have a high value. So the earning potential is quite low, and the value of your tokens depends on the success of OptimAI Network.
How you get paid
Everything you earn is paid in OptimAI tokens, and they stay in your OptimAI Network wallet for now.

Who can join and how to get help
The website does not say which countries it is in, but from what I can tell after testing it, it is available more or less worldwide. You sign up with your email address, save your recovery code, and then log in to the dashboard to set up your nodes.
On a phone, you install the OptimAI Edge Node app for Android or iOS and let it run in the background.
