I tested SurveyRewardz myself, both before and after its big update, and I have been paid by it. It is legit, but it no longer offers anything special. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Legit and it pays, but it no longer offers anything special
Surveys only, with PayPal and gift cards. The payout threshold went up after its update and depends on your country.

The short answer
SurveyRewardz is legit, and it does pay. I know, because I have been paid by it myself. It is a survey-only site with a simple, modern design, and you always see the reward and the estimated time before you take a survey.
But since its big update, it no longer offers anything special. It now works like any other panel with Cint surveys, and you can often get paid more for the same surveys on other platforms. The payout threshold also went up: where I live, it is now $12.

- You can often get paid more for the same surveys on other platforms
- The payout threshold went up after the update
- When I last checked, signing up was disabled

Is SurveyRewardz legit and safe?
Yes, SurveyRewardz is legit. It does pay, and I have been paid by it myself. But legit does not mean it is the right site for you. Here is what you should know.
- Older complaints about payments
In 2019, a reader wrote that SurveyRewardz refused to add the money for completed surveys to his account or to pay him, and pointed to many one-star complaints and a BBB warning. In 2018, another reader wrote that it does pay, but that some surveys paid very little. These reports are years old.
- You can earn more for the same surveys elsewhere
SurveyRewardz now offers surveys from Cint, like many other panels. Triaba Survey Panel looks a lot like it, but gives more opportunities and a bit better rewards, in my experience.
- A higher payout threshold
You used to be able to cash out to PayPal very quickly. After the update, the threshold went up. Where I live, it is now $12, and it depends on your country and your chosen reward.
- Signing up may not work
When I last checked, signing up was disabled, and trying to join just took me to the login screen. I am not sure if this is temporary, if SurveyRewardz has stopped accepting new members, or if it only blocks my region.
My takeSurveyRewardz has fairly decent opportunities to make some extra cash, especially if you live in the US, UK, Canada or Australia. But there will be sites that are better to join in your country. If you are already a member of several other survey sites, you will likely find no new options by joining SurveyRewardz.
SurveyRewardz pays, but you can often get more for the same surveys elsewhere. See the top survey sites in your country.

There is 1 way to earn: paid surveys. Tap it to read more.
Paid surveysShown before each survey
After you log in, you right away see the surveys available to you, with the reward and the estimated time for each. You usually answer a few prequalifying questions about your gender, age and work before you find out if you qualify.
Before its big update, SurveyRewardz worked as a survey scanner: you saw one survey offer at a time, and if you did not qualify, it offered you a new one. That is not how it works anymore. Now it is more or less like any other panel that offers surveys from Cint.
Some surveys pay quite well for the time spent, while others pay a lot less. It is always up to you whether you take a survey or not.
How much can you make?
It depends on your age, location and work, how many surveys you qualify for, and how active you are. If you log in every day and take a few surveys, you can make some nice extra money. If you only log in a couple of times a month, you will not make much.
Taking online surveys will not replace a full-time income. But it is one of the easiest ways to make money online, and with the right expectations, it is a legit way to make some extra cash.
Payout methods and minimum
| Method | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | Depends on your country. $12 where I live. | Usually within a week |
| Gift cards | Depends on your country and the card | Usually within a week |
The exact gift cards and rewards you can choose from vary from country to country, and so does the payout threshold. Before the update, you could get paid via PayPal very quickly. Now it takes a bit more patience to reach.
The payout speed is what I told a reader in 2020.
What readers told me
This review has 14 comments since 2018: 7 from readers and 7 replies from me. These are the things readers asked about most.
One reader asked how long a reward takes. Another wrote that it does pay, but that some surveys paid very little. A 2019 reader wrote that it refused to pay him.
Readers from Bangladesh and the US asked which sites to join. I pointed them to the best sites for their country.
A reader asked how to cancel their account. SurveyRewardz support can help with that.
“Hi, I was wondering how long it takes for them to process your reward.”
Mikael: usually, it is within a week.
“Survey Rewardz can be alright if you have the patience to qualify for their surveys and they do pay. Lately, though, they have been having really cheap incentives for a lot of their survey…”
Mikael: In my experience it can also sometimes take patience to find the surveys you qualify for on SurveyRewardz, but luckily there are mostly several surveys available.
“After you complete surveys they will refuse to put the money into your account or refuse to pay you.”
Mikael: Thanks for sharing your experiences Tom.

Hi, I was wondering how long it takes for them to process your reward.
usually, it is within a week.
Thanks!
you are welcome.
I live in Bangladesh.
You can check out TGM Panel and Surveyeah that both have a specific survey panel for Bangladesh.
And then you can check out this list with the best worldwide sites as you can also join all of these from there.
Hope this helps.
como faço para cancelar minha conta??
sorry, I do not understand Portugues but if Google Translate is right, you are asking how to cancel your SurveyRewardz account.
Just contact their support and they will be able to help you.
SurveyRewardz treats all of their customers the same way (poorly) which is why they have hundreds of one star complaints and a BBB warning. There is absolutely no reason to do business with these people. After you complete surveys they will refuse to put the money into your account or refuse to pay you. I think hundreds of separate incidents is more than a pattern.
Thanks for sharing your experiences Tom.
Survey Rewardz can be alright if you have the patience to qualify for their surveys and they do pay. Lately, though, they have been having really cheap incentives for a lot of their survey like 20 cents and even 16 or 17 cents. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them yet, probably quit.
Thanks for sharing you experience Pam.
In my experience it can also sometimes take patience to find the surveys you qualify for on SurveyRewardz, but luckily there are mostly several surveys available.
I have not experienced that it recently has given lower rewards. Maybe it is just a country specific thing? Let’s hope it is only temporary for you. But there are luckily many other great survey sites instead you can use, if you decide to quite SurveyRewardz at some point. I will be happy yo give you a few ideas of the best sites to join, if you tell me which country you live in.
Mikael
I live in the United States.
There are many great sites in the US. I have made a list of the best sites in the US – you can check out the list here. You will find a lot of sites with good opportunities there.
And let me know if you you have any questions about any of the sites, and also feel free to share your experiences about the sites you try or have tried. It would be great to hear about.
Thanks,
Mikael
