Is Survey Roundtable Legit or a Scam? (Full Review)

Survey Roundtable Rating

Survey Roundtable will reward you for completing surveys. But, it’s not without its disadvantages. The payout threshold is fairly low but there are not that many surveys, and you need an invitation to join.

I tested Survey Roundtable to see if it is worth your time. It is legit, with PayPal and gift cards from $10, but there are not many surveys, and you need an invitation to join. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit survey site, but you need an invitation to join

Around 1,000 points ($1) per survey and PayPal or gift cards from 10,000 points ($10). Not many surveys, and readers report screen-outs with few or no points.

Good for you ifYou found an invitation to join and want a secondary survey site with a low threshold.

The short answer

Survey Roundtable is legit. It is a survey site that does what it promises to do, with relatively high rewards per survey and a relatively low payment threshold of $10.

But you can no longer sign up on the website: you need an invitation to join. There are not many earning opportunities, and readers report being screened out after long qualifying questions with few or no points. It can be a nice supplement to other survey sites, but not your main one.

What I like
  • Relatively high rewards per survey completed
  • Relatively low payment threshold
  • PayPal and more than 150 gift cards
  • Email invites when a survey is available
  • Mobile-optimized website
What I don’t like
  • Not many earning opportunities
  • You need an invitation to join
  • Some information about the site is not presented properly
  • Readers report screen-outs with few or no points

My experience with Survey Roundtable

Is Survey Roundtable legit and safe?

Yes, Survey Roundtable is legit. But that does not automatically mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.

  • You need an invitation to join

You can no longer sign up directly on the website. Survey Roundtable posts invitations on various websites, but it does not say which ones, so it is a bit random if you find one.

  • Screen-outs with few or no points

The site says you get around 100 points when you do not qualify. Readers in 2023 and 2026 report being screened out or kicked out after long qualifying questions, with 2 points or none at all.

  • Not many surveys

The earning potential is not that great. Take all the personality surveys, so Survey Roundtable can match you with more paid surveys.

  • Answer invites quickly

Paid surveys often have a maximum number of respondents. If you answer as soon as you get the invite, there is a better chance you earn the reward.

My takeAs you can see, the main drawback to Survey Roundtable is the fact that you won’t be able to just go and join on the website. If you manage to join, it has a pretty decent earning potential. You just have to be patient to reach the payment threshold because you won’t always qualify for every invitation you get.

You need an invitation to join Survey Roundtable. These survey sites let you sign up right away.

How you earn on Survey Roundtable

There is only one way to earn: paid surveys.

Paid surveys1,000 points ($1) on average
Survey Roundtable surveys overview

Log in to the member dashboard to see the surveys you can take. You also get an email when a survey is available, so you do not have to keep logging in.

Each survey starts with a few pre-qualifying questions. If you qualify, you answer the survey and receive the reward. If you do not qualify, the site says you still receive a small compensation of around 100 points. There are not many sites that offer a disqualification bonus.

The very first thing to do when you join is the personality survey. Take all the personality surveys, so Survey Roundtable can match you with more paid surveys.

How much can you make?

You receive 1,000 points ($1) per completed survey on average, which is a pretty decent average, in my opinion. With the 1,000-point sign-up bonus, you can reach the 10,000-point threshold rather quickly, as long as you get survey invites frequently.

You will not always qualify. The site says you still get around 100 points when you do not, but readers report few or no points after being screened out.

Overall, the earning potential of Survey Roundtable is not that great. But it can be a nice supplement to other survey sites, especially since you can redeem rewards quite quickly. For more, see the fastest paying survey sites.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal10,000 points ($10)Added after I first tested it
Gift cards10,000 points ($10)More than 150, like Amazon and Banana Republic, plus a virtual debit card

When I first tested Survey Roundtable, it did not pay in cash. It has changed this, and PayPal is now one of the payout options. 10,000 points equals $10, which is a relatively low payment threshold.

For more survey panels that pay real money in a convenient way, see the top survey sites that pay via PayPal. For other sites with a disqualification bonus, see the best survey sites that offer a disqualification bonus.

Who can join, and how

Survey Roundtable now lists the countries where it is available at the top of its website. It used to not make this clear.

Joining is the complicated part. You used to be able to sign up on the website, but you can no longer do that. You can only join if you find an invitation on a different website. Survey Roundtable does not say which websites, so it is a bit random if you find one. Most of the top survey sites let you sign up directly.

There is no app, but the website is optimized for mobile, so you can answer a survey invite on your phone when you are out of the house. Just make sure you have a good internet connection.

  1. I am sick and tired of doing Round Table surveys and giving my honest and best answers or opinions and when I am through the survey I am just kicked off with out any points paid or just given 2 points or none. This is not right I spend a lot of time doing a survey only to have my information stolen and get nothing in return.

    • I explain how it works in the review above. But, in my experience, there are better sites to earn gift cards. Any particular restaurants you are interested in earning gift cards for? Then I can suggest some options.
