I looked into Spider.com, now called Income, to see if its passive way to earn is worth it. It pays you for sharing your unused internet, but it only works on Windows, and I do not trust how it presents its reviews. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Passive income from your internet, but I would not trust it
$1.50 for every 10 GB you share and PayPal from $20. Windows only, with privacy concerns and reviews it does not show honestly.

The short answer
Spider.com, or Income as it is now called, is a GPT site that pays you for sharing your unused internet connection. You earn $1.50 for every 10 GB of data you share, and you cash out through PayPal from $20.
But its software only works with Windows computers, and there seem to be some privacy concerns. Its website claims 2,330 5-star reviews on Trustpilot, but the real Trustpilot page I checked had only four reviews, all of them poor. For a site that asks you to trust it with your internet, that is a deal-breaker for me.
- You can earn passively
- Pays through PayPal
- Available globally
- Limited earning opportunities
- Relatively high $20 payout threshold
- The software only works with Windows computers
- Has some privacy concerns you should be aware of
- Not transparent about its true ratings from reviewers

Is Spider.com legit and safe?
Spider.com says it pays you for your unused internet. But for a site that asks you to trust it with access to your internet connection, these are the problems I found.
- Reviews it does not show honestly
The website says it has 2,330 5-star reviews on Trustpilot, but it does not link to its actual Trustpilot page. When I checked that page, there were only four reviews, and all of them were poor. It seems to use the Trustpilot logo to create trust. I would not personally trust a site that uses tricks like this.
- Privacy concerns
Spider.com says it never gathers private information from you and only uses your excess data. But the Trustpilot reviews I found were alarming: they allege that the program takes over your accounts. I do not fully trust what Spider.com says.
- Windows only
The software only works with Windows computers. There is no mobile app, and it does not work on a Mac. Honeygain, for example, is available for more or less all devices.
- A high payout threshold
You need $20 to cash out, which means sharing around 130 GB of data. That is quite high compared to most GPT sites, and PayPal is the only payout option.
My takeIt is a deal-breaker for me that Spider.com is not transparent about important details. Whether it pays or not becomes a bit irrelevant. For a site that asks for your trust, your privacy should not be compromised. That is why I recommend the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead.
How you earn on Spider.com
There are 2 ways to earn. Sharing your internet is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Sharing your internet connection$1.50 per 10 GB
Install the program and go through the setup process. It shares your internet connection with Spider.com’s clients, mostly companies in travel, e-commerce, advertising and web intelligence that use its proxy services.
You earn $1.50 for every 10 GB of data you share. It is not the best rate, but considering you do not have to do anything special to earn it, it is a fair rate. Spider.com says your connection speed is not affected, so you never really notice it running.
It is similar to Pawns, which offers the same kind of opportunity. But the Spider.com software only works with Windows computers.
Referral program25% commission
Share your invite link. When someone signs up through it, they become your level 1 referral. To earn from them, they must install the software and share their connection too.
When they earn at least $3 in a month, you get a 25% commission on what they earn that month. The program is 10 levels deep, and the commission rate gets lower the higher the level.
You will not earn anything if your referrals do not install and set up the program, so only invite people who are really interested in earning.
How much can you make?
You earn $1.50 for every 10 GB you share, so you have to share around 130 GB of data before you can withdraw your earnings.
It depends on how fast your connection is. If you have a fast network connection, its AI detects that and uses your connection more, so you earn more and reach the threshold faster.
The rate is not the best, but it is not bad either, and you do not have to put in any effort. But because of the privacy concerns, I do not think it is worth the risk.
How you get paid
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | $20 | The only payment option |
Make sure you have a PayPal account before you sign up. The payment system is relatively simple, but the threshold is quite high compared to most GPT sites, so you need a bit of patience. If you want to cash out sooner, see the fastest paying sites with a low minimum payout.
Who can join, and on which device?
Spider.com is available globally, so you can register regardless of where you live. You must be at least 18, and you need a PayPal account.
Fill out the sign-up form and click the verification link in the email. Then download and install the software on your Windows computer and follow the setup process.
There is no mobile app. You can log in to the member dashboard on a phone, and the mobile version is pretty clean, but all you can do there is check your earnings.
