I checked out SMS Profit to see if earning passively from test SMS is worth it. It pays very little, you install it through an APK file, and I could not reach support. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Effortless, but not worth your time
You earn passively from test SMS, but at $0.02 per SMS and few messages, it takes a long time to earn a decent amount.

SMS Profit does pay you, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it is worth it. It is an Android app that pays you for letting SMS providers send test SMS to your mobile number.
The rewards are very low: $0.02 per SMS, and you can consider yourself lucky if you receive one per day. You have to install it manually through an APK file, which is not always safe, and the Contact on its website did not work when I tested it. In my opinion, SMS Profit is not worth your time.

Is SMS Profit legit and safe?
SMS Profit does pay you. But that doesn’t make it a worthwhile endeavor. Here is what you should know before you install it.
- You install it through an APK file
SMS Profit is not available in any app store, so you download the APK file from its website. I am generally not crazy about installing apps via APK, as it carries a risk. Only do this if you 100% trust the app.
- Test SMS can cost you money
The test SMS use your SMS allowance. If you do not have an unlimited SMS plan, you can end up losing money instead.
- Ignore the messages
The test SMS can contain links or random codes. Do not click or reply to them. Delete them once the reward is credited to your balance.
- One number per account
You can register as many mobile numbers as you like, but a number must not be registered on another account. If that happens, both accounts may be blocked.
- Support was hard to reach
When I tested the platform, the Contact on its website didn’t work, so I had no way to get in touch with support.
My takeIn my opinion, SMS Profit is not worth your time. Even though it provides an effortless way of earning, it will take quite a long time before you can earn a decent amount because of the low rewards it offers. It’s also quite annoying to deal with because you need to always make sure the app is running in the background to earn.
SMS Profit pays very little. The top sites in your country give you better ways to earn.

There is only one way to earn: receiving test SMS.

Install the app and let it run in the background. It needs a constant internet connection. Android sometimes shuts down apps automatically, and then you do not receive any test SMS.
SMS providers and Mobile Network Operators need to send test messages to foreign countries to check that their SMS routes deliver properly. You get paid because they use your phone number for these tests.
From what I observed, the rate is $0.02 per SMS. How many SMS you receive mostly depends on your location, and you cannot control it. If you want to earn passively, see the best passive income apps.
How much can you make?
You will not earn much from SMS Profit. You only earn $0.02 per SMS, and you have no control over how many test SMS you receive. From what I observed, you can consider yourself lucky if you receive one per day.
So it takes a long time to reach the threshold. And the test SMS use your SMS allowance, so without an unlimited SMS plan, you can end up losing money.
Overall, I would say its earning potential is very low.
