I joined L&E Opinions and compared it to the hundreds of other survey sites I have tested. It is legit, and it pays for every study you complete, but you have to apply for each study and wait. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

I joined L&E Opinions, went through the registration and the profile questions, and looked at the paid studies, the referral program and the support options. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is L&E Opinions legit and safe?
Yes, L&E Opinions is legit, as you can earn as a member. But whether it is worth your time is a completely different matter. Here is what you should know.
- You apply, then you wait
For every paid study, you answer a pre-screening questionnaire. A member of L&E Opinions contacts you only if you qualify. There is no guarantee you will be picked, so there can be a long period where you earn nothing.
- Your work is checked before you are paid
When you finish a study, L&E Opinions still verifies whether your work meets its requirements. You are paid when it does.
- Screeners are not paid
You do not get paid for the screener or for your profile. A reader pointed to complaints that the screening itself takes a lot of time and personal information.
- The referral reward is less than it looks
You get a $20 gift card only once 20 people sign up. So each person you invite is only worth $1.
My takeL&E Opinions has some good qualities, but it also has some glaring disadvantages, in my opinion. The main drawback is that it is very troublesome to earn. You have to apply for each paid study, so there will be a waiting period where you won’t earn anything. Your time will be better spent on survey sites where you are sure to earn something.

Paid studiesPaid per study
In the member dashboard, you see the paid studies you can apply for. Click Start Screener and answer the pre-screening questions as honestly as you can.
When you finish, you are told that a member of L&E Opinions will contact you if you qualify. If you do, you get instructions to follow. After you submit everything, they check your work. If it is good enough, you are paid for your time.
The reward is shown on the study when you click it. Usually, the longer a study takes, the more it pays.
Referral program$20 for 20 sign-ups
Share your invite link on social media, or use the invite form to email people. Once 20 people sign up, you get a $20 gift card. That is only $1 per person, and there are far better referral programs on other sites.
How much can you make?
What you earn mostly depends on how long a study takes. Usually, the longer the study, the more money you earn.
The main drawback is the long wait before you can start earning. You can apply for studies and not qualify, so there is no real guarantee that you earn anything.
To get more study offers, complete your profile. It has six sections, so it is long, and you are not paid for it. Objectively speaking, the earning potential of L&E Opinions is low.

You are paid every time you complete a study, so you do not have to reach a threshold. Nothing beats withdrawing your earnings in cash, in my opinion, and L&E Opinions does not offer PayPal. For sites that do, see the top survey sites that pay via PayPal.
App, joining and support
When I first tested L&E Opinions, it had no app. Now it has one for Android and iOS, with all the features of the website, so you can apply for studies on the go. It is easy to use. This is a significant improvement, in my opinion.
L&E Opinions is only for US residents. The website does not say so directly, but the country is set to the US when you register. You must be at least 18.
To join, fill out the registration form and answer the profiling questions. Then complete the full profile in the member dashboard.

I have done two research projects with Melanie research. It was easy and was paid by prepaid visa card. It is a legitimate company with a great staff and easy to deal with. You aren’t chosen very often. Sometimes it takes a while to get on an approved research project but it’s worth the money and the effort.

Well, first of all, there is a table of content that makes it easy for you to find the right sections.
Secondly, many people prefer getting all the details so they know exactly what to expect. If you do not, then there is also a short summary at the top and at the end of the review that says if it is legit and my overall conclusion.
Thirdly, if you want to make money online, it takes a bit of effort and I have made it very easy to get the info quickly in my reviews. If you have not even taken the time to at least look a few minutes at it, you will honestly have a hard time earning online.

Thanks for all the work you do and the information you provide. Question…. I do well with user-testing, and to a lesser degree with validately, userlytics, and intellizoom.
