Digivante Review – Worth It? (Not for Everyone)

Digivante Rating

Digivante, in my opinion, is not for everyone. If you are good at spotting bugs and issues, and you have a keen eye for detail, then this can be an option if you are looking for ways to earn extra cash.

I signed up for Digivante and took its tester test to see if finding bugs there is worth your time. It is legit and pays per bug with no threshold, but it is not for everyone. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit bug testing, but only for people with an eye for detail

Paid per valid bug, usually £1 to £5, through PayPal or Payoneer. You must pass a test first.

The short answer

Digivante is legit. It is a user-testing site that pays you for every valid bug or issue you find in websites, mobile apps and computer programs.

But it is not for everyone. You must pass a test to get access, and on average only one in ten applicants does. You only earn if you are good at finding bugs, and there is no guarantee how many there are to find.

What I like
  • Pays via PayPal
  • No payout threshold
  • Decent pay per task
  • A tester rank that gives you more projects as you improve
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Requires a bit of time and effort to earn
  • Not guaranteed how much you can earn per task
  • Only one in ten applicants gets access to paid tests

My experience with Digivante

I registered, built my profile, added my devices and took the Digivante test. I passed it on my second try. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Digivante legit and safe?

Yes, Digivante is legit, because it really pays you for the bugs you find. But that does not make it a good option for everyone. Here is what you should know.

  • A test before you can work

You get a maximum of 3 tries to pass the test, and you need 9 out of 10 correct. If you fail, you cannot continue as a tester. On average, only one in ten applicants gets access to paid tests.

  • No guaranteed earnings

You are paid per valid bug, not per project. There is no guarantee how many bugs there are to find, and this varies a lot from project to project.

  • Do not claim projects you will not finish

If you repeatedly claim tests and do not complete them in time, your account can be suspended, or you get fewer projects.

  • It takes time and effort

The site is meant for professional quality assurance testers, or people who learn those skills quickly. The work takes a bit of time and effort.

My takeDigivante, in my opinion, is not for everyone. If you are good at spotting bugs and issues and you have a keen eye for detail, it can be an option to earn extra cash. If you are not prepared for the time and effort it takes, I suggest you find a different way to earn.

How you earn on Digivante

There is one way to earn: paid projects.

Paid projectsAround £1 to £5 per bug
Paid projects on Digivante

Each project asks you to test a website, a mobile app or computer software. You see the projects in the member dashboard once you have filled out your profile and passed the test. Click a project to read the non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Once you accept it, you are in the project and see what you need to do.

Each project has specific deliverables that you submit before the deadline. Digivante reviews them, usually within 3 working days; if you submit over the weekend, it is Monday at the earliest. The amount in GBP on a project is what you get for every valid bug or issue you find, not the total for the project.

Your tester rank goes up as you keep finding bugs, and a higher rank gives you access to more projects. Only claim a project when you are ready to start working on it.

How much can you make?

It mostly depends on your skill at finding bugs and issues. If you are not particularly good at it, you won’t earn a lot, regardless of how many projects you take on. And there is no guarantee how many bugs there are to find.

Usually, you get paid around £1 to £5 for every bug or issue you find. It is not that high a rate, but it is also not that bad, in my opinion. As your tester rank goes up, you get more projects, but that takes a bit of time. Overall, the earning potential is pretty decent if you are good at finding bugs.

Once Digivante approves the bugs you found, the money is sent to the payment method you chose. You don’t need to reach a threshold. For a missing payment, email [email protected] with “Missing Payments” as the subject.
