Zogo App Review: Is it Legit? (Here’s the Lowdown)

Zogo Rating

Zogo is a nice app to use especially if you are looking to become more knowledgeable in the field of finance. But in terms of being an app to earn from, you’ll be a bit disappointed because it doesn’t offer any cash rewards. All you can redeem are gift cards.

I tested the Zogo app, which rewards you for learning about finance. It is legit and teaches you useful things, but you can only redeem gift cards, not cash. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Legit for learning about finance, but no cash rewards

You earn pineapples for finance quizzes and redeem gift cards from $5. No cash, and limited ways to earn.

The short answer

Zogo is a legit app. You really are rewarded for learning. It is a nice app to use if you want to become more knowledgeable about finance.

But as an app to earn from, you will be a bit disappointed, because it does not offer any cash rewards. All you can redeem are gift cards, and there are limited ways to earn. The good thing is that the threshold is relatively low.

What I like
  • Provides a lot of useful and helpful information about finance
  • The app is user-friendly, without pop-up ads
  • Low payout threshold of $5
  • A decent selection of gift cards
What I don’t like
  • Does not offer cash rewards
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Low rewards per module when you start
  • You must verify your ID before you redeem

My experience with Zogo

Is Zogo legit and safe?

Yes, Zogo is legit, because you really are rewarded for learning. But that does not make it a good way to earn. Here is what you should know.

  • No cash rewards

You can only redeem gift cards or donate to charity. If you want cash, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

  • You must verify your ID

Before you can redeem a gift card, you go through a verification process through Stripe, where you take a photo of your valid ID. I suggest you do this before you start earning.

  • No do-over for quizzes

You only earn for correct answers, and you cannot retake a quiz. Read every page of a module before you start the quiz.

  • Streaks reset

You get extra pineapples for completing a module every day. If you miss one day, your streak resets back to one.

My takeIn my opinion, Zogo is a nice app to use, especially if you want to become more knowledgeable about finance. It offers a lot of useful information. If you do not mind earning just gift cards, you can give it a go. But if you want to earn cash, I suggest you check out the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead.

How you earn on Zogo

There are 2 ways to earn. Completing modules is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Completing modules100–200 pineapples at first
Zogo modules and quizzes

You read bite-sized modules with useful finance information. After each module, you take a quiz about it, and you earn pineapples for every correct answer.

There are over 800 modules, but not all are available at once. Some only open after you have completed others, just like going to class.

Harder modules pay more. Complete a module every day to keep your streak, which gives you extra pineapples.

Referral program1,000 pineapples each
Zogo referral program

Share your invite code. The person you invite enters it when they sign up. You get 1,000 pineapples once they have completed at least three modules and confirmed their email.

That is a pretty decent reward, in my opinion. Just make sure the people you invite actually want to use the app.

How much can you make?

It mostly depends on how well you understand the modules. When you start, most modules pay around 100 to 200 pineapples, which is only around $0.1 to $0.2. That is a low rate, in my opinion.

As you keep completing modules, the next ones pay more, and your streak adds extra pineapples. So you have to be a bit patient at first, but once you get going, it will not be that hard to earn 5,000 pineapples for a gift card.

You can also donate your earnings to charity instead of redeeming a gift card.

I was surprised by the selection of gift cards. There were a decent number available. Overall, the payment system is straightforward, and I like the relatively low payout threshold.
