But there are not a lot of surveys, because Your Opinion limits how many you can complete in a month. The polls, chats and referrals only give you prize-draw entries, not guaranteed earnings. And it is only for people in Australia, and you need an invitation from a member to join. It can be worth it as an extra site, if you qualify.

Yes, Your Opinion is a legit survey site that rewards you for answering its surveys. But it has some limits you need to know before you join.
- There are few surveys
Your Opinion limits the number of surveys you can complete in a month, to avoid the “professional survey taker” issue its clients are concerned about. So do not expect to answer a lot of surveys, which makes the earning potential quite low.
- Most extras are prize draws
Quick polls, profile surveys and referrals give you entries for the quarterly prize draw, and a quick chat has only one winner. They are a chance to win, not guaranteed earnings.
- PayPal starts at $20
You need at least $20 to withdraw through PayPal, and that is also the only amount you can withdraw. Gift cards start at $5.
- You need an invitation
Your Opinion has become an invite-only site. Without an invitation from a member, you cannot sign up.
- Only for people in Australia
If you live somewhere else, this site is not for you. It also uses Australian dollars.
My takeYour Opinion is a decent survey site, in my opinion. If you qualify to join, it can be worth considering as an extra survey site, provided you head in with the proper expectations in terms of earning potential. There are not a lot of surveys available. But the quarterly prize draw has a very significant cash prize, and joining it does not take a lot of your time.
Your Opinion has few surveys and is invite-only. The top sites in your country give you more ways to earn.

Paid surveysAround $1 to $5 each
This is the main way to earn. You get an email when there is a survey for you, and you can also see all your surveys on the member dashboard. Every survey tells you the reward and the estimated time it takes.
You first answer qualifying questions, to check if you are in the group the survey is for. If you qualify, you answer the survey and get the promised reward. If not, you move on to the next survey, if there is one.
There are not a lot of surveys, so do not expect to earn regularly from them. Answer all the profile surveys first, so Your Opinion can send you surveys that fit you. Each profile survey also gives you 10 entries for the quarterly prize draw.
Quick polls5 prize-draw entries each
Vote in any quick poll and you get 5 entries for the quarterly prize draw. When I tested it, there were 10 quick polls. I got 50 entries, and it took me less than 5 minutes.
It is not a guaranteed way to earn, but it does improve your chances in the prize draw. Answer the quick polls whenever you get the chance.
Quick chatOne winner, usually around $25
A quick chat works like a forum post: you post your answer before the deadline. After the deadline, one winner gets a prize, usually around $25.
Your Opinion usually picks the best or most relevant comment, so post a quality comment. If you win, the prize goes to your account balance.
Referral program10 prize-draw entries
Type in the email address of someone you want to invite, and Your Opinion sends them an invite. If they sign up within 30 days, you get 10 entries for the quarterly prize draw.
It is easy, but there are no guaranteed earnings. Most other referral programs pay you a commission when your referral earns.
How much can you make?
What you earn mostly depends on how many surveys you can complete, because the other options do not offer guaranteed earnings. And you have no control over how many surveys you get.
You usually earn around $1 to $5 per survey. If a survey offers more, expect it to take a bit of time. Because Your Opinion limits the number of surveys per member each month, its earning potential is quite low, in my opinion.
The quarterly prize draw is the bright spot. The grand prize is $1,000, and you can collect entries in a few minutes with the quick polls.
