Wallace App Review: Legit or Scam? (REAL Truth Revealed)

Wallace Rating

Wallace is not an app I recommend you use because it has low earning potential. It will take quite a long time for you to earn a significant amount from it. Plus, it seems like the app is not available for download anymore.

Wallace has closed

The Wallace app has been pulled from Google Play, a reader reports that it is in permanent maintenance mode, and its web address now leads to a different site. You cannot download it or earn on it now. The Financial Conduct Authority had also recommended that you avoid dealing with it. I keep my review below as a record. The apps and sites I would pick instead are further down.

Wallace was a crypto wallet app that gave you free GEO tokens for surveys, a daily spin and referrals. It has now closed. I tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which apps and sites I would pick instead.

The short answer

Wallace has closed. The app was pulled from Google Play, a reader reports it is in permanent maintenance mode, and its web address now leads to a different site. You can no longer download it or earn on it.

When I tested it, Wallace really gave you free crypto in GEO tokens. But the rewards were very low: you had to earn thousands of tokens just to get $5. And the Financial Conduct Authority recommended that you avoid dealing with it, while people on X said it ran with the money. That was never confirmed.

What I like
  • Was a simple way to earn
  • Available more or less worldwide
  • The app was user-friendly, with no pop-up ads
What I don’t like

  • The Financial Conduct Authority recommended avoiding it
  • Very low rewards
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • The app was removed from Google Play

My experience with Wallace

I installed Wallace, created a wallet, took the surveys, used the daily spin and looked at the referral program and the support. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Was Wallace legit and safe?

Wallace has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When I tested it, it gave you free crypto, but these were the catches.

  • It has closed

The app was pulled from Google Play, a reader reports it is in permanent maintenance mode, and its web address now leads to a different site.

  • A warning from the Financial Conduct Authority

A few months after I tested Wallace, the Financial Conduct Authority recommended that you avoid dealing with it. Several people on X also said it ran with the money. That was never confirmed.

  • Very low rewards

A survey paid at most 10 GEO tokens in my test, and you had to earn thousands of tokens just to get $5.

  • Gas fees

To move your tokens, you paid a gas fee that depended on the blockchain. You had to make sure your withdrawal was well above that fee.

  • Surveys about you

Most surveys gathered data about you. The app said it did this anonymously.

My takeWallace has closed, so it is no longer an option. Even when it was running, I did not recommend it, because of the low rewards and the warning from a legit finance organization. See the alternatives below.

How you earned on Wallace

There were three ways to earn GEO tokens. Tap each one to read more.

SurveysUp to 10 GEO tokens
Surveys in the Wallace app

The surveys were the main way to earn. You saw them as soon as you opened the app, and you did not have to qualify: you answered, and you got the GEO tokens promised.

There was a decent number of surveys, and they usually took only a minute or so. Most of them gathered data about you.

Spin the WheelUp to 10 GEO tokens a day
Wallace Spin the Wheel

You got one free spin every 24 hours and could win up to 10 GEO tokens. It was not much, but it only took a few seconds.

Referral programUp to 1% of swaps
Wallace referral program

The people you invited entered your referral code when they signed up. You then earned up to 1% commission every time they swapped crypto in the app.

The program had three levels, so you also earned from your referrals’ referrals. It only paid if the people you invited really used Wallace.

How much could you make?

Very little. In my test, a survey paid at most 10 GEO tokens, and a GEO token was worth a tiny fraction of a cent. You had to earn thousands of tokens just to get $5, and that took a long time.

That is not surprising. The ways to earn took very little time and effort, and on reward apps, little effort means little pay.

How Wallace paid

You earned GEO tokens. You could swap them for other crypto in the app and move them to a crypto trading platform to turn them into cash.

PayoutMinimumNotes
Swap GEO tokens for other crypto, then move them out on Ethereum, Polygon or BNB ChainDepends on the blockchainA gas fee per transfer, which also depends on the blockchain. Make sure you move much more than the fee.

The payment system was relatively straightforward if you were used to crypto. If you were new to it, it was a good idea to learn about crypto trading first.

  1. Please update as Wallace has been pulled from the google store and is in permanent maintenance mode.

They have already been called out on X/Twitter for basically cutting an running with the money they have gotten and there has been zero movement on their current white paper.
