Survimo claims you can earn up to $5 per answer. I tested it to see if that is true. It is legit, but the claim is misleading, there are few surveys, and the site is full of ads. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

I signed up, set up my profile and tried to earn from the surveys. I also went through the reward options. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Survimo legit and safe?
Yes, Survimo is legit, because you really will get paid to answer surveys. But being legit does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- The “$5 per answer” claim is misleading
You see what each survey pays before you start, and the amount is nowhere near $5 per answer. Sure, you can earn $5, but that is for answering the whole survey. For people without a lot of experience with survey sites, the claim can be quite misleading.
- There are few surveys
There are not a lot of surveys you can answer. Consider yourself lucky if you get offered one survey per week, but this varies from country to country. It takes a lot of time to reach the payout threshold.
- A lot of ads
You will encounter a lot of ads on every page of the website, and some of them pop up from time to time. It gets quite annoying, especially on a mobile device. I do not usually see this on survey sites.
- A long, unpaid profile
Completing your profile means 160 questions, and you are not paid for them. But it is very important, because it increases your chances of getting survey offers.
- Check your spam folder
When I signed up, the confirmation email from Survimo went straight to my spam folder. Click the Activate button in the email to complete your registration.
My takeIn my opinion, Survimo is not a site worth investing your time in. There are simply far better options out there if you want to earn by answering surveys. It does not offer a lot of surveys, and it does not pay well. Plus, their claim that you can earn $5 per answer is quite misleading. It also does not help that the site has a lot of ads.
How you earn on Survimo
There is only one way to earn: paid surveys.

All surveys come from Cint. When you log in, you immediately see all available surveys, with how much you earn and the estimated time each one takes. That helps you prioritize which surveys to take.
You first answer qualifying questions. Survey sites do this to see if you belong to the group the survey is meant for. If you qualify, you answer the actual survey and receive the promised reward. If you do not, you simply move on to the next survey.
To get more survey offers, complete your profile. It is 160 questions, and you are not paid for them, so set aside some time for it.

How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how often you can complete a survey, and Survimo really does not offer a lot of surveys. Most surveys only pay around $1 to $3, which is a far cry from what they claim you can earn.
Overall, I would say the earning potential of Survimo is quite low. It will take you a lot of time to reach the payout threshold and withdraw your earnings.

I registered with Survimo expexting to earn. I am a Kenyan but I was very disappointed. It takes months to get an email of an available survey. When I request to do it, it either tells me I do not qualify for the survey or that the survey is no longer available. I also noticed that the whole survey qould only earn me one dollar

Survimo is very bad and not good because I personally use it. when i am doing survey after 50% completion of survey it is just showing 56% or may be reached 90% but after this page is unresponsive and so all of your time is wasted. And you will never receive any amount

It is very normal for survey sites to ask for some kind of identity verification. There is a lot of fraud on survey sites so they need to do this. But, of course, you need to make sure it is a legit site before sharing anything like that.

It’s not working so don’t waste your time on it. At least not working in Serbia. You done few survey and they say that you are not good candidate for it and they don’t pay but do geather information either way, for free obviously. Don’t waste your time.

I am not aware I registered but they tell me that I am a member because I registered. I suddenly started seeing their emails in my box. I opened them out of curiosity, but because I wasn’t sure who they were, I kept on deleting their emails. In fact, I became more suspicious when they dropped their promised amount from $1 to $.52. If I didn’t want to do their survey for $1, why would they expect to do it for $.52. After that I just ignored their emails till I decided to ask about them today. Now they’ve come back up to $2, but is it worth my time?
