Surveys On The Go is a legit survey app. You earn by answering surveys, and you get a small compensation even when you do not qualify. You can withdraw through PayPal from $10.
But it can take a couple of months to reach the threshold, because you will not always qualify. And to earn the most, you have to allow location services, so the app can see where you go. It is a decent secondary app, not a main one.

Is Surveys On The Go legit and safe?
Yes, Surveys On The Go is a legit app that pays you for its surveys. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- The app uses your location
When you join, you have to allow location services. The more you move around, the more surveys you supposedly get, for example about shops you recently visited. If you are not comfortable with that, use other survey apps.
- Slow to reach the payout
You will not always qualify, and it can take some patience to find a survey you qualify for. It can take a couple of months to reach the $10 threshold, depending on your location, how much you move around and your profile.
- Readers reported cashout problems
In 2022 and 2023, two readers wrote about cashouts that did not go through: a PayPal button that did nothing, and a balance that came back after the payout was marked as sent. Only Surveys On The Go’s support can fix this. Another reader has used the app happily since 2016.
- In-store tasks can be rejected
Some surveys send you to a store. In 2022, a reader drove to a store for one, and the response was rejected because of the photo quality. She only got a partial reward. Think twice before you travel for a task.
- Not clear who can join
Surveys On The Go does not say which countries it works in. If you cannot find it in your app store, it is not available in your region.
My takeTo put it simply, Surveys On The Go can be a decent app if you aren’t in a hurry to earn a bit of extra cash. It can be a decent secondary app to earn from to supplement what you can earn from apps and sites that have better earning potential.

After you install the app and register, you see all the available surveys in your dashboard. They are sorted into categories. When I updated this review, these were Store surveys, Web + App surveys and Standard surveys. The categories have changed before, so they might change again.
Each survey starts with pre-qualifying questions. If you qualify, you answer the survey and get the promised reward. If you do not, you get a small compensation for your time.
You get push notifications when surveys are available, so you do not have to keep checking the app. You can turn them off. Location sharing is an important part of qualifying: the more you move around, the more surveys you supposedly get.

How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how often you get survey offers, and how often you qualify. A survey offer is no guarantee that you earn something, so you cannot expect to earn a lot from this app.
The upside is that you earn something even if you do not qualify, which only a few survey apps and sites offer. Overall, the earning potential does not make it a primary app. You can still earn a decent amount if you are patient enough.

I’m so frustrated and aggravated by this “Reputable company”, that I don’t even have the words to start writing this review because of how mad I am.
Few days ago, I went to 2 different freaking Dunkin Donuts to complete the freaking missions of Dunkin they keep sending me about 10 notifications daily to complete. I only got to do one, cause the other one didn’t want to load, I just stayed stuck in locations, the start button didn’t appear.
But, I realized that I had to go to another location for the other Dunkin mission, so I did.
My husband fucking drove 20 minutes to get there with our baby in the cold weather, for me just to fill out your stupid survey and earn the $25.00 just to find out the next day that it has been rejected after all we did and how cold it was that night and spent money on gas which is very expensive nowadays, plus almost 5 fucking dollars in that stupid strawberry riccota toast, that wasn’t good at all!
I’m soooo mad right now! I can’t believe you did this after all I did, cause that wasn’t close to where I live BTW.
So I sent them an email telling them the same thing u just wrote above.
They claim that the reason they rejected my recent survey submission was because they claim the image I provided fell short of their quality standards. That they couldn’t deliver my data to their Client, so they had to reject my response for this time, they added a partial incentive of $10 miserable dollars after al I wen through, when I was supposed to receive $25 in total.
I swear I did everything how you wanted to, and the pictures were great, you just used that excuse not to pay my money.
I dont recommend this app at all, do not go out of your way to complete their stupid missions, especially if the places aren’t in your town. What a disappointment!

it was a 4 star now its a 1 star their rarely are surveys and when their is its usually only 1 day a week they hit you with a bunch of surveys all at once and if your busy doing something else well your shit out of luck because if you miss that 1 day where they give out surveys alot you dont get any surveys hardly the remainder of the week so a 1 star is the best rating for this app

I’m a new user of survey on the go. I am am in the process of trying to get my $10 payment. For some reason I can’t get the payment. I want to get my payment through PayPal. When I press papal payment it does nothing. I’ve contacted support and had my email changed to my main one. And it still won’t let me. It’s very aggrivating because it’s taking hours for them to contact me back. So now I’m waiting forever again. I really need my money. Can someone tell me what they think the issue is, or help?
