I tested Survey Spin to see if it really is a quick way to earn $5. It is legit, and you can cash out from $5, but the qualifying rate is unusually low and the app is buggy. Below is what I found, and which survey apps I recommend instead.
Legit, but not worth your time
Surveys for around $0.20 to $0.60 each, cashout from $5. Unusually low qualifying rate and a buggy app.

The short answer
Survey Spin is legit, since you can really cash out from it. The $5 threshold is low, and the payout options are convenient.
But the qualifying rate is unusually low, surveys pay only around $0.20 to $0.60, and the app and site are both buggy. In my opinion, Survey Spin is not worth your time. There are simply better options out there.
- Offers an easy way to earn
- Offers convenient payout options
- Low $5 threshold
- App for Android and iOS without pop-up ads
- Low rewards
- Unusually low qualifying rate
- The app and site are both buggy
- The site doesn’t have a contact form or any information on how to contact support
- Only available in select countries
My experience with Survey Spin
I signed up for Survey Spin in the app and answered surveys, because the website would not work for me. This is what I tested, and what I did not test.

Is Survey Spin legit and safe?
Yes, Survey Spin is legit, since you can really cash out from it. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Unusually low qualifying rate
When I was testing it, I noticed that the qualifying rate was unusually low. This is also the most common complaint among other members. It makes the low threshold irrelevant, because it still takes a lot of time to reach $5.
- The app and site are buggy
The website kept asking me to disable my ad blocker or check my internet connection, which was working. So I had to use the app, which is quite buggy and freezes often.
- Support is hard to reach
The FAQ page only covers a few basic topics, and the website has no contact form or contact information. I had to check its Google Play page to find the support email.
- Select countries only
Survey Spin doesn’t say exactly which countries it is available in. From what I can see, it is only available in select countries.
My takeIn my opinion, Survey Spin is not worth your time. It doesn’t offer any good reason for you to use it. There are simply better options out there if you want to earn by answering surveys. If you still want to sign up as a member, you have to be very patient, because it will take a lot of time to cash out.
Survey Spin has an unusually low qualifying rate. These survey apps give you better earning potential.

There are 2 ways to earn. Paid surveys are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysAround $0.20–$0.60 each
Survey Spin has partnered with several survey providers, so you can answer surveys daily. Log in, and you immediately see the surveys you can answer. Pick one and answer the qualifying questions.
If you fail to qualify, you move on to the next survey. If you qualify and complete it, you receive the promised reward. The qualifying rate is unusually low, so you have to be very patient.
Referral program10% commission
Share your referral code. When someone enters it at sign-up, they get a $1 joining bonus, and you get a 10% commission every time they earn. It’s a decent way to earn passively, but Survey Spin is not something I would recommend to my friends.
How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how many surveys you can answer and how well they pay. There’s a decent number of surveys available, but you can only earn around $0.20 to $0.60 per survey you complete. That is lower than what you get on the highest-paying survey sites.
The real determining factor, in my opinion, is the qualifying rate. It is unusually low for a survey site, so it takes a lot of time to hit the $5 threshold.
This is why I would say the earning potential of Survey Spin is very low. You have to invest a lot of time just to earn a decent amount from it.
Payout methods and minimum
| Method | Minimum |
|---|---|
| PayPal | $5 |
| Direct bank transfer | $5 |
| Prepaid Visa | $5 |
| Gift cards: Amazon, Walmart, AMC and more | $5 |
The payout system is relatively straightforward, and I like that it offers several convenient payout methods. If you want more sites like this, see the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.
