I tested Slicethepie to see if it is worth your time. It is legit and pays you to play games and answer surveys, but the rewards are low and you need $20 to cash out. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but low rewards and a high $20 cashout
Pays you to play mobile games, complete flash deals and answer surveys. Only in some countries, and it takes a lot of time to earn a decent amount.

The short answer
Slicethepie is legit. It started in 2007 as a site to find the best up-and-coming artists. Today, it is a Get-Paid-To site that pays you to play mobile games, complete flash deals and answer surveys.
But the rewards are low compared to the popular GPT sites, and you need $20 before you can cash out. It is only available in some countries. I only recommend it if you need an additional platform to earn from.
- Pays via PayPal
- The app is user-friendly
- Shows your earnings in money, not points
- A good number of survey providers
- Low rewards
- High payout threshold: $20
- Only available in some countries
- Few flash deals
My experience with Slicethepie
I tried to earn on Slicethepie myself and compared it to the hundreds of other free earning sites I have tested over the years. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

- The flash deals
- The survey providers in the member dashboard
- The Slicethepie app
- The payout options
- The FAQ page and the Help contact form
- A payout. I tried to earn, but did not reach the $20 threshold, so my review does not show a cashout.

Is Slicethepie legit and safe?
Yes, Slicethepie is legit, because you can earn as a member. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.
- The rewards are low
I cannot say the exact amount you earn per game or survey, because it varies. But compared to the popular GPT sites I have tested, you earn slightly less on Slicethepie. You have to spend a lot of time to earn a decent amount.
- You need $20 to cash out
You can only withdraw once you have earned at least $20. That is quite a high threshold, in my opinion.
- Some game milestones ask you to pay
Most milestones only ask you to reach a certain level in a game. Some ask you to make in-game purchases. They pay more, but not all of them are worth it, so be critical about which milestones you go for.
- Slicethepie does not charge a fee
Some readers were asked to pay a training fee. Slicethepie is free to join and use, so a request to pay is not from Slicethepie. It sounds like scammers trying to use its name.
- Only available in some countries
Its FAQ says it is available in most English-speaking territories and Germany. The best way to check is to visit the website. If you get an error and cannot enter it, Slicethepie is not available in your country.
My takeIn my opinion, Slicethepie is a decent site to join as long as you are eligible to become a member. It used to offer something unique, but now it kind of just offers what many other similar sites already do. Also, don’t expect to earn a lot from it because of its low rewards. So, I would only recommend you join if you need an additional platform to earn from.
Slicethepie pays little for your time. The top sites in your country give you better earning potential.

There are 4 ways to earn. Games and surveys give you the most opportunities. Tap one to read more.
Playing mobile gamesPer milestone
When you log in to the member dashboard, you see all the games you can play. Choose a game, and you see the milestones you need to complete to earn rewards. Most of the time, you just have to reach a certain level in the game.
All the games are mobile games. You install them on your phone and open them from the member dashboard, which you can only do in the Slicethepie app. That is how Slicethepie tracks your progress.
You do not have to complete all the milestones. If one takes too much time to be worth it, move on to the next featured game. When I tested the platform, there was a decent number of featured games, so you will not run out of games to play.
Flash dealsFew available
Flash deals are simple tasks. Most of the time, you sign up for a certain website and complete a specific task to earn the reward.
It is a fairly straightforward opportunity, but there are not a lot of them, so it is not a regular source of rewards.
Paid surveysDaily surveys
In the member dashboard, you see all the survey providers you can work with. Click a provider and set up your profile. Then you see all surveys that fit your profile.
Each survey starts with qualifying questions. If you qualify, you answer the survey and receive the promised reward. If you are disqualified, move on to the next one. There is a good number of survey providers, so you should be able to answer surveys every day.
Referral program10% commission
Invite people to join. You receive a 10% commission every time your referral earns from the platform. Make sure you invite people who really want to earn from Slicethepie.

How much can you make?
It depends on how much time you are willing to invest. You can more or less earn rewards regularly, because there is a good number of earning opportunities.
I cannot say the exact amount you can earn per game or survey, because it really varies. But compared to some of the popular GPT sites I have tested, you earn slightly less on Slicethepie.
So, its earning potential is not that great. You have to spend a lot of time just to earn a decent amount.
Payout methods and minimum
| Method | Minimum |
|---|---|
| PayPal | $20 |
| Revolut | $20 |
| Airtm | $20 |
Slicethepie does not use points. You always see your earnings in money, so you do not have to convert points in your head like on some other survey sites.
The $20 threshold is quite high, in my opinion. But the payout system is relatively straightforward and convenient, and I like that it pays via PayPal. If you are interested in more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Who can join Slicethepie?
Slicethepie does not say exactly which countries it is available in on its website. Its FAQ says it is available in most English-speaking territories and Germany. To check, visit the website. If you get an error and cannot enter it, it is not available in your country.
You must be at least 18 years old. Fill out the sign-up form, or sign up with your Google account. It is a very simple process and should not take you more than a minute.
The app is available for Android and iOS. Its user interface is very intuitive, and you need it to earn from the mobile games.
What 34 readers told me
This review has 34 comments since 2021: 18 from readers and 16 replies from me. These are the four things readers write about most.
Older comments are about reviewing songs, which paid very little. Some readers report locked or closed accounts. Slicethepie no longer pays for music reviews; it now pays for games, flash deals and surveys.
You do not need a referral code to join. If you do not have PayPal, Revolut or Airtm, choose another site.
Readers were asked to pay for training. Slicethepie does not charge a fee. It sounds like scammers trying to use its name.
Readers who like the site and recommend it.

I’m very impressed by the information u are providing .. it has helped me to avoid useless sites .thank u
Glad it helped.
this site is not good. they also close down your account if you don’t like the genre music they play and if you give all 0’s. who the hell likes country music? And they won’t allow certain surveys to be taken redirecting you because of “web browser” and some of the surveys are based which state you’re living in and if they don’t see the state isn’t worth it they say “not taking surveys this time”
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
I like this site alot.

I have paid the training fee and the site slicethepie informed me of a login password and when i tried to login, it kept repeating that it was an invalid username/password when i truly typed the right ones for over 10 times, WTF!!!!
SLicethepie is free to join and use, so I think you have confused it with another platform.

I explain everything in the review above.
I just started using the site. I reviewed for about only 19 songs. Something went wrong. Im not able to review bcuz the site says there are no more songs to review. I didn’t get the access to fashin reviews either. What should I do now
You need to contact their support about this.
You get very little for your reviews. And yes that is a downside but there is also a downside many people don’t mention.
You can cash out legit on there at like $10.00. But once they feel like you’ve earned to much they will lock your account and make you think that you violated their terms. I was getting close to cashing out when my account got locked due to the “use of a proxy” when I don’t use a proxy and I’ve explained that and showed proof. Then when I threated to file a complaint with BBB it stopped and now it’s started again.
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Haha if you do your research on platfroms like reddit you will see members complaining how they get only $0.01 to $0.07 per review
1 person did this for 17 hours straight as an experiment amd only got $3.24 cents
*yikes*
Thanks for sharing.
