Is Rewardia a Scam or Legit? (How I Lost $174)

Rewardia Rating

Rewardia has plenty of ways to earn. However, it gives quite low rewards + they still owe me $174, and I have been unable to get a reply from them about this despite trying many times. Therefore, I would recommend using other sites instead.

Warning: Rewardia stopped paying me, and readers report refused cashouts

Rewardia paid me when I first tested it. Then it stopped paying the money it owed me and stopped replying. I wrote them probably 8 to 10 times over 2 to 3 months and have given up getting my money. Readers in 2023 and 2024 told me Rewardia refused their cashouts over “suspicious activity”, even after they sent their driver’s license. I no longer recommend Rewardia. The sites I recommend instead are at the end of this review.

I tested Rewardia, recommended it, and got paid by it. Then it stopped paying me the money it owed me, and its support stopped replying. Below is what happened, what readers report, and which sites I recommend instead.

The short answer

Rewardia is a GPT site with surveys, games and small daily activities. It has paid me, but it also stopped paying me the money it owed me, and its support stopped replying.

Readers report cashouts that were refused, and the rewards are low compared to many other sites. I would say it is too risky to accumulate earnings there. I no longer recommend Rewardia.

What I like
  • It offers a 100-point joining bonus
  • You can always find available offers
  • Mobile-friendly website
  • Gift cards from 5,000 points ($5)
What I don’t like
  • Rewardia owes me money that it never paid
  • At times really terrible support
  • Low-paying surveys and offers
  • High payout threshold for bank transfer: 50,000 points ($50)
  • Limited payment methods available
  • Only for the US, Australia and New Zealand

My experience with Rewardia

I joined Rewardia, tested its earning methods and got paid. I then recommended it, until it stopped paying me. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Rewardia legit and safe?

Rewardia has paid me and others. But it stopped paying me, and readers report cashouts that were refused. Here is what you should know before you put time into it.

  • It stopped paying me

I recommended Rewardia through its referral program, and for a while everything worked fine. Then I asked support about my next payment and did not hear back. After many emails, they said they would look into it right away. Nothing happened, and I have given up getting my money.

  • Readers report refused cashouts

Readers in 2023 and 2024 told me Rewardia refused their cashouts because of “suspicious activity” after they used it from another country, even after they sent their driver’s license. In 2020, readers reported an invalid gift card code and a prize that did not arrive.

  • Support is random

Sometimes you get a fairly quick answer, other times it takes a long time, or you do not hear back at all. One reader in December 2025 got replies within 24 hours, before cashing out.

  • Low rewards for your time

The surveys do not pay very well, and this seems to have become worse since I first tested it. Games and other activities pay even less. Readers also report being screened out late in surveys.

  • Cash out as soon as you can

If you still join, cash out as soon as you can, so you will not lose that much if you suddenly do not get paid.

My takeI have tested hundreds of sites and the way I have been treated by Rewardia is worse than what I have tried on any other site and therefore it is a site I recommend staying away from as there are so many better options.

Rewardia stopped paying me, and readers report refused cashouts. These sites in your country are a safer choice.

How you earn on Rewardia

There are 5 ways to earn. Surveys pay the most, but still not much. Tap one to read more.

Rewardia SurveysBest earner, still low
Rewardia surveys examples

Rewardia offers quite a lot of surveys. You answer qualifying questions first; if you qualify, you take the survey, and the points go to your account. Every survey shows its points and how long it approximately takes.

Compared to the highest paying survey sites, Rewardia does not pay very well for surveys, and this seems to have become worse since I first tested it.

Play gamesVery low
Rewardia games

Each game has a condition to meet. Once you meet it, the reward is credited and you can stop. The rewards are very low, so only use this if you like playing the games anyway.

Other activitiesA few points

Answer polls, watch videos, and even check the weather. They do not pay a lot of points, but they take little effort. It is not easy to get a good overview of all the options at first, but you will find your way after clicking around.

Promo codesUsually 5 points
Rewardia promo codes

Rewardia usually posts promo codes every day on its Facebook page, and sends some by email. A code usually gives 5 points, worth $0.005.

Referral program10% of their earnings
Rewardia referral program

You get 10% of what your referrals earn. They get 3,000 bonus points once they earn their first 3,000 points. Share your link or code by email, Facebook or Twitter. This is where Rewardia stopped paying me.

How much can you earn?

It mostly depends on how active you are. Surveys are the highest-paying offers on the site, and there are always offers available. But the rewards are just not very high compared to many other survey sites, so you need patience and effort to get paid.

Status tiers give you a discount when you redeem gift cards, and the higher the tier, the bigger the discount. But this bonus program is very poor compared to a site like PrizeRebel.

And keep in mind that I could not even get paid myself in the end.

Reward options and minimums

MethodMinimum
Gift cards5,000 points ($5)
Bank transfer50,000 points ($50)

Every activity earns points, and 1,000 points are worth $1. There is a relatively extensive list of gift cards. The $50 threshold for bank transfer is very high, considering how low the rewards are. For sites that pay by bank transfer from a lower threshold, see the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.

Who can join, and how

Rewardia is available to residents of Australia, New Zealand and the US, aged 18 or older. Fill out the registration form on the homepage and click the activation link in the email. You get a 100-point bonus.

There is no Rewardia app, but the website is optimized for mobile, so you can use it in a mobile browser.

For support, use the contact form on the contact page, the FAQ, or the Facebook page. In my experience, it is very random when support answers.

  1. I had my ISP come out last week and replace my router because my download speeds were 1/3 of what I have been paying for. Ever since, I have been unable to access many of the games I play daily on Rewardia. I was consulting with MS co-pilot about how to check the settings on the new router because I suspected that was causing the problem, but AI kept insisting it was Rewardia’s server and advised me to contact support for help. I wrote to support almost every day for a week, and they responded in less than 24 hours every single time. I finally found the problem myself and adjusted the router settings (which I always suspected was the issue) and now Rewardia is working fine again. I wrote them to let them know and also expressed my gratitude for replying to my support tickets so quickly each time. I feel the right thing to do is share my experience here so others can see a positive outcome. It’s often said that when you get bad service you tell 10 people, but when you get great service, you only tell 3, so I want to do my part to affect change. I am at over 90,000 points and expect to be cashing out soon, which seems to be where most of the above complaints take place. Once I collect my earnings, I will provide results of that interaction, but as of today, I can say I feel good about being a long-time member of Rewardia!

  3. I was a subscriber to Rewardia for a long time. A year ago I went to Australia and continued to do Rewardia surveys. I accumulated over $50 but when I tried to cash out they kept replying that there was suspicious activity on my account from another destination. I sent them countless replies saying that it was from me but they refused to pay me out, unless I provided a picture of my driver’s license. I eventually did this and then started getting suspicious emails that included the details of my license which made be suspect that someone hacks their site. Rewardia continued to refuse my pay out.

  4. I am waiting to cash out with Rewardia. Been doing surveys for about two weeks now and managed to get $10 in points doing a couple of surveys here and there in my spare time. It was very hard to get these points which is why I am cashing out then closing my account. Each 1000 points = $1. However when I go to cash out my $10,000 points it’s telling me that I only have $3,000 and my other $7000 points are pending, it’s been that way for about four days now.

    Issues I have with rewardia:
    – 7/10 surveys kick you out for not meeting their criteria, often half way through the survey or never the end of the survey, which is a massive waste of time.
    – They ask a ridiculous amount of questions to answers that are already in my rewardia profile such as my age, country, household income. They often ask 20 questions before they even get to the main survey. you think you are in the survey but then you find out that all of those questions are just the qualifying questions.
    – There is a ridiculous amount of questions that prove you are not a robot. Like every third question. Really?
    – Also, new surveys sometimes redirect you over and over again to other surveys that are hosted from a separate platform, OR, it keeps redirecting itself into circles. For example you might answer four questions and press ‘continue’ and redirected to a page that says ‘finding you a survey’ and then it redirects you back to the same page.

If you go to your account to claim missing points (from the surveys that redirect you over and over), they do not give you your points because its our fault that we left and chose not to complete it, when that’s not the case at all. They simply state that we are the ones who left early.

I am patiently waiting for most of my reward points to not be pending anymore.

  5. I am newer to Rewardia and have faithfully been doing many surveys every day. Yesterday, because I have done so many surveys I was offered a reward of pots and pans, all I had to do was pay a small shipping fee. I entered my credit card number to pay for this. Later in the afternoon I got a call from the fraud department of my credit card company due to suspicious activity. Yup, someone was trying to use my card. And since then I longer receive email invitations to do more surveys. I will never again trust any on-line survey. My search prior to joining said it was legit. I now have my doubts.

    • Thanks for sharing your experiences. But do not let one bad experience stop you – there are many legit survey sites that will never do this. Also, even though Rewardia is not a site I recommend, as you can see in the review above, I highly doubt they would do something like this as that would be way too risky for them. But it does seem like a starnge coincidence. Are you sure the pots and pans offer was from them? Because it is usually not something they will offer so it almost seems like someone was misusing the name of the platform to get your contact info- How did you get that offer? Was it sent via email? If it was, check to see if it was actually from the official Rewardia address.

Also, you can try contacting their support to get more info about this and to see if there might be an explanation.

Let me know how it goes.

  6. I have accumulated over $50 in rewards but when I try to claim the rewards, the response I get is that there was suspicious use on my site. I have replied numerous times explaining that I was in another country but they kept asking for a copy of my drivers license. When I forwarded this my computer was hacked and I was the victim of phishing. I tried again after about a year to claim my reward but the same problem continues. If I am not able to claim my reward I am going to post on every site my very bad experiences with Rewardia.
    Please help me!!!

  7. Have been on Rewardia for years, enjoy the games on here. But as you say it is the worst site for paying reward money..the lowest of any site I am on. Also many of us continually gripe that we finish surveys and then are told we are screened out. When you complain, if you get an answer, it will be robotic, indicating the reasons why people are screened out..obvious ones and no answers to why points aren’t rewarded for finishing a survey. Many of us complain and when we do we are told Rewardia is not a survey site but a 3rd party that merely passes on surveys from researchers and that they determine which survey answers are worth rewarding, but when you try and ask Rewardia for support or how to contact the researchers Rewardia say they can’t do that..how convenient, so no progress can be made towards complaining about their poor rewards or poor assessment of completed surveys. The ultimate scam!

    • Thanks for sharing your experiences.

First, I would say that there are many sites that pay more than Rewardia – I have tested hundreds of sites and the rewards on Rewardia have become worse and many other sites pay more.

Secondly, as I write in the review above, it also started well for me and I got paid without problems. But then they suddenly stopped paying and stopped replying. So you are just lucky that they still pay you but do not get surprised if they suddenly stop or if you ever need help at some point you will be lucky to get it.

I have tested hundreds of sites and the way I have been treated by Rewardia is worse than what I have tried on any other site and therefore it is a site I recommend staying away from as there are so many better options.

    • Thanks for sharing your opinion about this Lisa. What I show is an example – some surveys will pay more. But you can always see the reward before you decide and then decide based on that.

But in general, you should not expect surveys to make you anything close to a full-time income or anything like that. But they are a great way to have your opinion heard and earn some extra cash on the side without investing any money at all which is quite unique for online opportunities.

You can also check out this list of the highest paying survey sites and see if some of those fit you better.
