I joined Resolution Research to see if its paid surveys and studies are worth your time. It seems legit, but it is no longer a panel in itself, and it now sends you to one of two other panels. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Seems legit, but few opportunities for regular consumers
Now refers you to a consumer panel or a medical panel. US and Canada only for new members.

The short answer
Resolution Research seems like a legit panel, and it pays out in legit ways. But it has some confusing elements.
It is not a panel in itself anymore. It now refers you to one of its two other panels: one for regular consumers and one for medical professionals. For regular consumers, the opportunities are limited, and new members are only accepted from the US and Canada.
- Free to join
- Uses legit payout methods
- A medical panel that can pay $100+ per study
- Many kinds of research: surveys, focus groups, product tests and more
- Limited earning potential
- Not a very user-friendly panel
- Payout conditions are a bit poor compared to other sites
- Confusing setup: several websites, and you are sent to other panels
- New members only from the US and Canada
My experience with Resolution Research
I joined Resolution Research when it still had its own panel, and I looked into the company and its websites. This is what I tested, and what I did not test.

- Support. I have not needed to contact them myself.

Is Resolution Research legit and safe?
Resolution Research seems like a legit panel, and it pays out in legit ways. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- It is no longer a panel in itself
You can no longer take part in paid market research on Resolution Research itself. When you click to join, you are asked to join one of its two panels and are taken to those sites to sign up.
- A confusing setup
I found several websites and Facebook pages with more or less the same name, such as resolutionresearch.com and resolutionpanel.com. According to their Facebook pages, they have the same address, so I assume it is the same company. At first, this can be a bit confusing.
- Few opportunities for regular consumers
The number of studies depends on your country and your profile. From what I have seen, you should not expect a large number of paid surveys.
- Payouts depend on the panel
When Resolution Research had its own panel, it paid through Payoneer from $10. Now the payout method depends on the panel you join.
My takeOverall, Resolution Research is not a panel in itself anymore. I myself will not be using its panels anymore, as they simply have too poor opportunities and poor usability compared to many other sites. It is legit, so you can earn a bit of extra cash there, but I would highly recommend you check out the best survey panels in your country instead.
Resolution Research has few opportunities for regular consumers. The top sites in your country give you more ways to earn.

You earn through one of its two panels. Tap one to read more.
The consumer panelA few dollars here and there
Once you join, you fill out some basic info about yourself to get access to the list of available surveys and studies. Next to online surveys, there are focus groups, product and device tests, taste tests, mock juries and in-person interviews.
The number of studies varies by country and by profile. From what I have seen, you should not expect a large number of paid surveys.
The medical panelSometimes $100+ per study
The second panel is for medical professionals. If you are one, you can expect to earn more on this panel, sometimes even $100+ per study.
How much can you make?
It is difficult to answer exactly, as it depends a lot on the time you put in.
If you are a medical professional and join the medical panel, you can expect to earn more, sometimes even $100+ per study. But from what I have seen, I am not impressed with the opportunities for regular consumers. You might earn a few dollars here and there, but compared to the top paying survey sites, you should not expect much.
How you get paid
When Resolution Research had a panel with that name, you could get paid through Payoneer once you had earned $10.
Now that it refers you to its two other panels, the exact payout method depends on the panel you join. But you should be able to get paid in cash, no matter which panel you join.
Resolution Research alternatives I have tested
| Site | Best for | Min. cashout | My rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| PrizeRebel | Surveys, tasks and offers, with a very low threshold | $5 PayPal; some gift cards from $2 | 4.8 / 5 |
| Prime Opinion | Surveys only, high pay per survey | $5 or $10, by country | 4.6 / 5 |
| Survey Junkie | Surveys in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK | 500 points ($5) | 4.4 / 5 |
| Swagbucks | Many daily ways to earn, one of the biggest GPT sites | About $5 PayPal; gift cards from 100 SB | 4.3 / 5 |
See the best survey panels in your country. They have a lot more opportunities, are a lot easier to use, and offer better payout conditions, in my opinion.
