I have been a Pureprofile member for several years and have been paid by it. It is legit, with good payout methods and a user-friendly app, but in many countries there are few surveys, and payouts can be slow. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit with good payout methods, but few surveys in many countries
PayPal, bank transfer or vouchers from $10, £10 or $20, by country. Expect few surveys and payouts that can take weeks.

The short answer
Pureprofile is a legit survey site, and you can actually earn a bit of extra cash. I have been paid by it, and it has good payout methods and a very user-friendly app.
But in many countries you will not find many surveys, and you are not paid for profile surveys. Payouts can take up to 30 working days, and some readers report payouts and rewards that were late or did not arrive. I have had a lot more success with many other survey sites.
- Good payout methods: PayPal, bank transfer and vouchers
- User-friendly app for Android and iOS
- Support seems to be responsive
- You see the reward before you start
- Limited earning opportunities in many countries
- Fairly high payout threshold in some countries
- You do not get paid for profile surveys
- Payouts can take up to 30 working days
My experience with Pureprofile
I have been a Pureprofile member for several years and check it once in a while to see if anything has changed. I have not been very active on it, for the reasons in this review. This is what I tested, and what I did not test.

Is Pureprofile legit and safe?
Yes, Pureprofile is legit, and I have been paid by it. But that does not mean it is the best option for you. Here is what you should know.
- Few surveys in many countries
I have not been impressed by the number of paid surveys I saw. Do not be surprised if you regularly see a screen saying there are no options. Outside the UK, the US, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, it does not make much sense to join.
- Some readers report late or missing payouts
Between 2019 and 2022, readers wrote about rewards that did not arrive, a payment they had to ask for three times, and an account suspended when they tried to cash out. Since then, readers have written that they were paid, one about 2 weeks after asking.
- Slow payouts
Pureprofile says a payout takes up to 30 working days to process. It told me it aims for an average of 14 days. That is still slow compared with many other sites.
- Profile surveys are not paid
Profile update surveys help match you with surveys, but you are not paid for them. It is still a good idea to fill out your profile.
My takePureprofile is definitely legit, and it is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. If you want to join as many survey sites as possible, it can be a good extra site. But I have had a lot more success with many other survey sites, and wherever you live, there are sites with better opportunities and better payment conditions.
Pureprofile has few surveys in many countries. The top survey sites in your country give you more chances to earn.
See the best sites in your countryHow you earn on Pureprofile
There is one way to earn: paid surveys. Pureprofile calls them campaigns.
Paid surveysShown before you start
There are two kinds of campaigns: profile update surveys and paid surveys. Only the paid surveys earn you money. The profile questions keep your profile updated, so Pureprofile can match you with more surveys.
You can connect Google, Twitter or Facebook to fill in basic information like age and country, or fill it in yourself.
It is not always easy to see exactly what a survey pays. One survey I saw said $0.10 to $8.20, for 6 to 40 minutes. Some surveys are more precise. Some pay quite well for the time spent, if you live in a country where you regularly get surveys.

How much can you make?
It varies from survey to survey. Pureprofile is not a place where you make quick money, and in some countries it is very hard to reach the payout threshold.
You might live in a country with more surveys. Even then, online surveys will not make you rich. If you want a full-time income online, you have to look for other options.
Payout methods and minimums
| Country | Minimum | Methods |
|---|---|---|
| Australia and New Zealand | $20 | PayPal, bank transfer or vouchers, depending on your country |
| Singapore and the US | $10 | PayPal, bank transfer or vouchers, depending on your country |
| UK | £10 | PayPal, bank transfer or vouchers, depending on your country |
Before you can get paid to your bank account, you verify your account by SMS. Pureprofile used to limit withdrawals to $70 or £70 every 60 days. That rule is gone: you can now cash out as often as you want once you reach the threshold.
Pureprofile says a payout takes up to 30 working days to process. When I contacted them, they said they aim to process all payments within an average of 14 days.
What 30 readers told me
This review has 30 comments since 2017: 18 from readers and 12 replies from me. These are the things readers write about most.
Between 2019 and 2023, readers wrote about rewards that did not arrive, a payment they had to ask for several times, and an account suspended at the first cashout.
Readers in 2023 and 2025 were paid. One gets paid about 2 weeks after asking; another has used it for nearly 10 years in Australia.
Readers got kicked out of most surveys or found no more surveys.
A printed voucher had no PIN at the till. Gift cards are the preferred reward for one long-time member.
“this site does not pay the money i have had to e mail them three times now to get paid stil awaiting another payment after three months of not getting it”
Mikael: Sorry to hear that and very strange. I have always been paid by them without any issues. And you are not using VPN or anything like that?
“Under the Feed menu only click the ‘Surveys’ box. This way you dont fall into the trap of doing ‘Profile’ surveys where you wont be paid.”
Mikael: Thank you very much for sharing your experiences and tips.
“They suspended my account with no clear explanation after 2 months of working on their site when I finally hit the minimum threshhold of $10 and tried to cash out.”
Mikael: Sorry to hear this but thanks for sharing your experiences.

Who tested Pureprofile for this review
If you have any comments, questions, or experiences with Pureprofile, I would love to hear from you in a comment below.
Great review! Ive been a member for nearly 10 years (Australia) and have gained a reasonable income from here. Not enough to live off, but generally earn around $150 – 400/year which is ok for me. I admit miss doing many surveys so could be earning a lot more. One tip – Under the Feed menu only click the ‘Surveys’ box. This way you dont fall into the trap of doing ‘Profile’ surveys where you wont be paid. The cash system is annoying with its limitations, but the range of gift cards is huge (its Preeze.com.au and they stock gift cards to many 100s of companies). Ive found gift cards the preferred way of spending my earnings and they can be taken in many quantities from $20 – $500. You can get free Hoyts movie tixs also, if preferred.
Thank you very much for sharing your experiences and tips.
Please l would like to know more survey sites so that l can boost my earning
Which country do you live in?
Been with pureprofile for several years and recently claimed a reward card for countdown. As I don’t put these rewards on my phone I opted to print it out. There is no pin number on it as was pointed out when I presented it to the cashier so I ended up having to pay for the lot. What is the story when the voucher is sent – did I misunderstand and it can’t be printed out?
You need to contact their support about this.
this site does not pay the money i have had to e mail them three times now to get paid stil awaiting another payment after three months of not getting it i would not recomend this site at all
Sorry to hear that and very strange. I have always been paid by them without any issues.
And you are not using VPN or anything like that?
This is the same for me, it’s only been a few weeks for me but no updates or anything. It’s very frustrating. Please keep us updated on what outcome you get 🙂 Hopefully, we can both get our hard-earned money!
Also, you don’t happen to be in Australia??
I haven’t had that problem as of yet, recently requested payment got it about 2 weeks later, just requested another payment. I didn’t have any problem in the past when I requested a payment.
I was not trying to be offensive to you Mikael and if I have, then I happily apologise. I was simply stating that though sympathy is comforting, the situation still exists and no more than that.
Thanks for explaining James. I understand your point.
Pureprofile is a total scam. tried to redeem a reward. Three weeks and I still haven’t received the reward even though the money has been deducted from my total in the app. I have contacted them multiple times, once I got told they had no record of me redeeming a reward, I sent them a screenshot of the transactions and got no reply. The second time they said they had manually refunded my account – they hadn’t. Since then they’ve just not responded.
Very sorry to hear this but thanks for sharing your experiences.
Sharing is good, but practical action is better.
What action do you suggest I take?
I was referring to action on the part of Pureprofile Kirstie. “Sorry to hear this but thanks for sharing”, is no help. You don`t want sympathy, you want an efficient solution to your problem. All you can do is make an utter nuisance of yourself (but you risk having your account suspended by Pureprofile if you do this), or go to a website such as Survey Police and have a darn good rant about the survey company. Good luck Kirstie !
@James: There is not really much I can do other than thanking for sharing so others can see. I have this website to also allow others to share their experiences but it sounds like you are expecting me to be able to fix all issues which is of course not realistic even though I often go out of my way to contact survey panels and try to find solutions if there is a chance I can help. As for Pureprofile, I am not impressed by it myself as you can also see in the review above, and I do not have contact with them, and I have heard many people having issues with it so just great people are sharing and I am happy to provide a space for that.
And what she is doing is exactly what you suggest – She comes here and shares her experiences on a review site where a lot of people can see it so others can see and take that into consideration before joining.
They suspended my account with no clear explanation after 2 months of working on their site when I finally hit the minimum threshhold of $10 and tried to cash out. After searching around it seems they have quite a reputation for being unethical at best and an outright scam at worst.
Sorry to hear this but thanks for sharing your experiences.
For me, Pureprofile has been as productive as looking for a unicorn. I have done many surveys for this company and I have amassed the grand total of £3.05p. Only one survey has gone the distance and for the ones where I have been kicked out (all but the one), I am compensated by a generous amount of five whole pennies. Then they have the sheer gall to ask if I want to donate the princely sum to charity. I doubt if any charity would be over the moon with such a pittance !
Once I get sufficient funds in my account (sometime in 2038 by my reckoning), that`s it. Finito Pureprofile.
Thanks for sharing your experiences about this.
Last year everything was perfect! 3-4 days wait for rewards. This year it seems they have got more slack. This is the 11th day since I redeemed my points for my PayPal reward. I have been told it now takes 10 days. Obviously this is not true. Their replies have also been extremely snarky and utterly rude.
Thanks for sharing your experience Aaron.
Sorry to hear about you having problems getting your money. Hope you will soon get your money. Personally, Pureprofile is a site I am no longer using as I think there are so many other better sites.
Mikael
Hi Mikael what are some of the better sites as pureprofile seems to have no more surveys or they blacklisted me for speaking the truth.
You can check out some great alternatives here.
Thank you for the review on pure profile. I was considering supplementing my income by doing online surveys and it is counterproductive to spin your wheels on something that may not deliver. You really cleared up a few things for me and helped give me some direction on this endeavor.
Take Care,
Heather
Glad that you found my review useful Heather. Surveys can definitely be a good way to make a bit extra, but you just need to find the right sites with the best options. So glad if I could clarify something for you and help you in the right direction.
Mikael
its a good site but many surveys are a complete rip off! They steal ur answers and dont pay up!
