PayPrizes has closed

It seems PayPrizes has closed. When I try to enter the website, I get a big warning from my antivirus program, because it redirects to a suspicious domain. PayPrizes is no longer available, and you cannot join or earn on it now.

As my review below shows, it was never really worth it anyway, in my opinion. I keep the review as a record. The sites I would pick instead are further down.

PayPrizes paid you in points for surveys, offers, videos and more. It has now closed. I tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.

The short answer

PayPrizes has closed. Its website now redirects to a suspicious domain, and my antivirus program warns me about it. Stay away from it, and do not expect to earn there.

When it was running, it was legit and paid you for completing its offers. But it was never really worth it: PayPal needed $20, rewards came in fixed amounts, and most offerwall offers were contest sign-ups that got you contacted by a lot of advertisers.

What I like
  • Was available globally
  • Several ways to earn
  • Payment via PayPal was available
What I don’t like
  • PayPrizes has closed
  • A high payout threshold for PayPal
  • Limited reward amounts: PayPal only in $20, $50 or $100
  • A poor offerwall section
  • Very low referral rewards

My experience with PayPrizes

I signed up for PayPrizes, earned points on it and went through every way to earn, the rewards and the support. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Was PayPrizes legit and safe?

PayPrizes has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit and paid you for its offers, but it was never really worth it. These were the catches.

  • It has closed, and the site is not safe now

When I try to enter the website, my antivirus program warns me, because it redirects to a suspicious domain.

  • Offers that got you contacted by advertisers

Most offers on the offerwall were sign-ups for contests. For most of them, you agreed to be contacted by a lot of advertisers. Many coupons worked the same way.

  • A high threshold for PayPal

PayPal needed 2,000 points ($20), and you could only cash out $20, $50 or $100.

  • Small rewards on the easy options

Video ads paid very little, Spin and Win gave 1 to 10 points a day, and a referral was worth only 10 points.

My takePayPrizes has closed, so it is no longer an option. When it was running, it was good enough as a secondary site, but not as good as other GPT sites. See the alternatives below.

How you earned on PayPrizes

There were six ways to earn on PayPrizes. Tap each one to read more.

Paid surveysPoints shown up front
PayPrizes paid surveys

PayPrizes had no surveys of its own. It acted as a survey router: under the Surveys tab, you saw a lot of surveys from other sites, with the points each one paid.

You answered a few qualifying questions first. If you qualified and completed the survey, the points were credited to your account. The surveys paid decently, but not at the very top.

Paid offers200 points on the offerwall
PayPrizes paid offers

Offers asked you to sign up for websites, play games, answer quizzes and more. Every offer on the offerwall was worth 200 points, as long as you followed each step.

Most offerwall offers were sign-ups for contests, where you agreed to be contacted by a lot of advertisers. The “Top Offer” section had other types of offers, but overall I was not impressed.

Video adsVery low

You watched a video ad and got points for it at the end. Longer videos paid more points. There were not many on a regular basis, and they paid very little.

Spin and Win1 to 10 points a day
PayPrizes Spin and Win

Once every 24 hours, you could spin the wheel and win 1 to 10 points. A small bonus, but you always got something.

CouponsPoints per coupon
PayPrizes coupons

To unlock a coupon, you usually answered a survey or completed an offer. Then you typed the code in the redeem box to get the points.

Many of these offers were the same as on the offerwall, so you often had to agree to be contacted by a lot of advertisers.

Referral program10 points per referral
PayPrizes referral program

You got 10 points once a person you invited registered and verified their membership. You could share your link on Twitter or Facebook, or let PayPrizes email an invitation.

You were sure to get something, but the reward was so low that it had no real earning potential.

How much could you make?

It depended on how active you were. The more offers, surveys and bonuses you did, the more points you earned. You also got 2 points for your first login each day, and your point total sometimes went up even when you had not completed anything.

PayPrizes had decent earning potential for a secondary site, and some offers paid quite well. But the payout threshold was high, and rewards only came in certain amounts.

How PayPrizes paid

Every activity earned points. You exchanged them for gift cards, PayPal or Bitcoin.

RewardMinimumNotes
Amazon gift card1,000 points ($10)Other gift cards (Macy’s, Apple, Google Play and more) needed different amounts
PayPal2,000 points ($20)Only $20, $50 or $100
Bitcoin2,500 pointsYour earnings converted to Bitcoin

There were plenty of reward options, and PayPal was the most convenient one. But the PayPal threshold was quite high. For sites that pay out faster, see the fastest paying survey and GPT sites.
