Opinion Edge is legit. It really pays you. I know this, as I have been paid by it myself, and you can see the payment proof in my video. It is a good survey site to join.
You get a small reward even when you do not qualify for a survey. But the payout threshold is a bit high when you first join: $10 at level 1, and PayPal only opens at level 3. Some readers also report slow payouts.

Is Opinion Edge legit and safe?
Yes, Opinion Edge is a legit site, since it will really pay you. I have been paid by it myself. But that does not mean it is necessarily worth joining for you. Here is what you should know.
- The first threshold is high
As a level 1 member, you need 1,000 points to redeem a $10 reward. At level 2 it is $5, and from level 3 it is $1. Opinion Edge does not reveal exactly what you need to move up a level. It is based on your tenure, your survey-taking patterns and your reconciliation rate.
- PayPal only from level 3
PayPal is available in all countries, but only after you reach membership level 3. Until then, you redeem a Tango gift card.
- Payouts can take time
The first time, a payout can take up to a week or a bit longer. Several readers wrote that their withdrawal stayed pending and that support did not answer. One wrote that the cashout arrived 15 minutes after his comment.
- You may be blocked at sign-up
Some visitors get the message that there are enough respondents at their location, even in a country where it is available. The company told me this comes from their security tools, which can return false positives. If you did everything honestly, email [email protected] with the IP address you used.
- Never use a VPN
Using a VPN to take surveys is fraud. You will get banned, and then they will not get back to you.
My takeIn my opinion, Opinion Edge is a good survey site to join. If you are looking for a new survey site to join, I would recommend this one, because it has a good earning potential. Its member dashboard and mobile app are both user-friendly, especially after the new update.
How you earn on Opinion Edge
There are 4 ways to earn. Surveys are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMain earner
Since the big update, an AI system figures out which surveys to send your way. That increases your chances of qualifying. I have not seen this on many survey sites.
Surveys come in 3 types: My Offers, Quick Offers (shorter and easier) and Prime Offers (the highest-paying). Each survey shows the reward and the estimated time. If you do not qualify, you still get 2 to 10 points.
Campaign offersVideos and games
You watch YouTube videos and shorts, or play mobile games in the “Games and Rewards” section. Some offers do not pay as much as surveys. When I tested it, there were plenty of games. The Social Media offers are still quite limited.
Leaderboard contestsUp to 2,000 points
Daily: the top earner wins 100 points, 2nd place 75, and 3rd to 5th place 50. Monthly: 1st place gets 2,000 points, 2nd to 10th place 500, and 11th to 20th place 300.
Referral program50 points
You invite people by email with your invite link. The reward is 50 points. Usually your referral first has to complete a survey or verify their email address.

How much can you make?
It depends on how active you are. There is a fairly good number of surveys available at any given time.
For surveys that take about 10 minutes, you usually earn 50 to 100 points. For surveys that take more than 15 to 20 minutes, you earn around 150 to 200 points.
It is quite varied. Some surveys pay well, and some do not pay a lot. But overall, I would say the earning potential of Opinion Edge is pretty good.

The maximum amount you can redeem also goes up with your level. You need to be a bit patient in the beginning. If you keep being an active member, you will be able to redeem rewards a lot quicker.

Usually it has to be in the same name. But if you need to transfer it to a different PayPal account, I suggest you contact their support first and make sure it is ok so they do not end up flagging you.

They are right now rolling out PayPal to all countries, so it should become an option very soon.
As for how fast they pay after you redeem, it depends on your membership level. The first few times you withdraw it can take some days, but they later on you usually get paid quite fast.
Hi there, I’m from the United States, and I’m not able to join opinion edge, which is kind of odd, because normally, I’m able to join quite a lot of platforms that are globally friendly.
While I can understand that they might not always be accepting new members, I kind of wish that they would create a thing to join like a waitlist, similar to what prolific does.
I have double-checked with them, and they are definitely still accepting members in the US. You should contact their support and then they can help you figure out what is going on.

How many days do they need to make the first withdrawal?
How fast you can earn depends on the country you live in. In some countries it will be possible to do in a few days. In others it might take several weeks.
I also emailed them seven days ago, but yet they didn’t reply. My withdrawal is still showing as pending that I made on January 30, 2024.
Which country do you live in? And have you used VPN to take surveys? because if you have, it is fraud and you will get banned and then they will not get back to you.
In USA. If they banned me, then why did they send me the survey request through my email? There are lots of surveys on my dashboard that I can do. How can I know they banned me?
It is just because your comment here shows that it is not coming from the US, so if you are actually in the US, then something is strange with your connection. If that is the case, then the survey site will likely see this as a flag also.
If you are actually located in the US, then you need to contact them about this with proof likely. But first you need to make sure to look into your connection.

It’s been 15 days since I last requested a withdrawal, and their support didn’t reply to my query.
I do not know your exact situation, so I cannot say. But if you do everything honestly, you should be fine. But only their support can help you, so if you have not heard back from them after 15 days, I suggest you contact them again.
Hi, When I receive email and log on to surveys I am told the site isn’t private and could be stealing my information passwords, messages, credid card. Also I have 1355 points and when I try to cash in for £10 or £5 I am told I do not have enough points

I had Cashed out from about 7 business days and yet it approved my request I had contacted support yesterday and I contact them today yet no response just want to know what the problem of my account. The sad thing is that the first time I had cashed out it took 6 hours to approve my request this the second time I try to cash out.
I just want them to approve or deny my request.
If you have done everything honestly, you should not worry and you should hear back from their support soon. But be aware that during weekends most survey sites have slower support. Let me know how it goes.
