Opinion City has closed
Opinion City no longer offers a way for you to sign up, so you can consider it closed. It seems to have changed into just a website with information about other survey sites. You cannot join it now, and you could never earn on Opinion City itself. I keep my review below as a record. The survey sites I would pick instead are further down.
Opinion City promised to connect you with the highest-paying survey sites. It no longer lets you sign up, so you can consider it closed. I joined and tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which survey sites I would pick instead.
Opinion City has closed
Opinion City no longer lets you sign up, so you can consider it closed. It never paid you itself: it was a survey aggregator with superficial reviews, exaggerated earning claims and an anonymous owner.

The short answer
Opinion City has closed. It no longer offers a way to sign up, and it seems to be just a website with information about other survey sites now.
When you could join, it was a survey aggregator: you could not earn on Opinion City itself. It showed you links to survey sites it earned commissions from. Some of them were good, but the reviews were superficial, the earning claims were exaggerated, and you could not find out who the owner was. I did not recommend it.
- Recommended a few good survey sites, like Nielsen
- Was open in every country
- Opinion City has closed
- You could not earn on the site itself
- You do not know who the owner is
- Superficial reviews
- Some of the sites it promoted were poor
My experience with Opinion City
I joined Opinion City to find out exactly what it offered and whether it was one of the good aggregators. I checked its terms, its recommendations and the claims around them. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

- Signing up with my email
- Reading the terms and the privacy policy
- The list of recommended survey sites and their reviews
- The “limited spots” numbers, checked again the next day
- An image search on the photo of the supposed owner
- Sharing a link to Opinion City on Facebook
- Looking for a support option
- The contact form. I had nothing to ask Opinion City, so I do not know how fast it replied.

Was Opinion City legit and safe?
Opinion City has closed, so you can no longer sign up. When you could, it was legit in the sense that most sites it recommended were legit. But I found six red flags.
- Your email was shared
By signing up, you allowed Opinion City to share your email with a mailing partner for third-party emails. It did not say who this partner was or how many emails you would get.
- You could not earn on the site
Opinion City only showed promotional links. You could earn on the survey sites it linked to, but not on Opinion City itself. Facebook also blocked links to Opinion City as abusive.
- An anonymous owner
The front page showed a photo of the supposed owner, Alyssa. The same photo appears on a lot of other websites under other names, so you could not tell who was behind the site.
- Pressure to sign up quickly
Every offer showed only a few spots left. The next day, the numbers were still the same. It was just a sales trick to get you to sign up quickly.
- Exaggerated claims and superficial reviews
Many income claims were exaggerated, like up to $75 for a single survey on Panda Research. The reviews were generic, and more or less every site got 5 stars.
My takeOpinion City has closed, and I could not see any reason to use it anyway. It did not offer you any way to earn, and some of its recommendations were poor. See the survey sites below instead.
How Opinion City worked
Opinion City claimed to help you supplement your income with paid survey opportunities. In practice, it was a survey aggregator. After you joined, all you got was a list of survey sites and offers to sign up for. Sites like this get paid a commission when they send people to survey sites.
You could click to read a short review of each recommended site. They were generic descriptions, and more or less every site got 5 stars, also Panda Research. It did recommend a few good sites, like Nielsen, which is very trustworthy.
The panels it promoted all seemed to have only a few spots left. Some panels really do limit new members, like PineCone Research, but Opinion City claimed this for every panel. Another site of the same type is Survey Voices.
Who could join, and how to get support?
You could join Opinion City from any country. But some of the survey sites it sent you to were not available in all countries, and most of them were mostly for the USA.
After you joined, there was no support option. Before joining, you could find a contact form in the footer of the website, which said you would hear back within 24-48 hours.
