The Octappush website now redirects to another site, and as far as I can tell Octappush has closed. You cannot join or earn on it now. I keep my review below as a record. The sites I would pick instead are further down.
Octappush paid you to test mobile games that had not been released yet. It has now closed. I tested the app before that. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.

Octappush has closed, so you can no longer earn on it. When it was running, it was legit and paid around $5 to $10 per test, but there were few tests.

The short answer
Octappush has closed. Its website now redirects to another site, so you can no longer join or earn there.
When it was running, it was legit, not a scam. It paid you to test unreleased mobile games, so game developers could improve them, and you could join from anywhere. But there were not many testing opportunities, and you only got a test when you were invited. A test paid around $5 to $10, you needed $15 before you could cash out to PayPal, and the app only worked on Android.
- A fun and interesting way to earn extra cash
- Paid via PayPal
- Was available globally
- You helped shape games before they were released
- Octappush has closed
- Limited earning opportunities
- The app only worked on Android devices
- A relatively high payout threshold of $15
- No FAQ or help section in the app

Was Octappush legit and safe?
Octappush has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit: it paid you to test unreleased mobile games. These were the catches.
- It has closed
The Octappush website now redirects to another site, so you cannot sign up or get tests there.
- Few tests, and only by invite
You did not control how many tests you got. Octappush emailed you when you qualified for a test, and its algorithm spread the tests over all members.
- Your screen was recorded
During the qualification test and every game test, Octappush recorded your screen while you played. The recording and your feedback were reviewed by its quality assurance team.
- A wait before you were approved
After the qualification test, you had to wait for the result, and Octappush did not say how long that took.
- Android only, and some technical steps
The app was only available for Android devices. The testing process involved a few technical steps.
My takeOctappush has closed. When it was running, it was a fun app if you enjoyed mobile games and had an eye for detail, but there were not many testing opportunities, so you could not earn much. To earn today, see the alternatives below.
How you earned on Octappush
There was one way to earn: testing mobile games that had not been released yet. Tap a step to read more.
Step 1: the qualification testRequired first
First, you added the games you had already installed on your phone to your profile. Octappush used them to decide which games to ask you to test.
Then you took the qualification test. You installed a trial game and played it while Octappush recorded your screen, until the app told you to stop. After that, you answered a short survey that taught you how to give feedback.
Your answers and the recording were uploaded for review. If you followed the instructions properly, you were approved eventually.
Step 2: paid game testsAround $5 to $10
Once you were approved, Octappush emailed you when you qualified for a test. The email had the instructions and the reward.
A test worked the same way as the qualification test: install the game, play it while your screen was recorded, and give your feedback. The QA team reviewed your work, and if everything was in order, you got the promised reward.
Octappush had an internal scoring system for how valuable your feedback was. See the top user testing sites for platforms that are still open.
How much could you make?
A test paid around $5 to $10. In my experience, the simpler tests paid less, and the more complicated ones paid more.
So what you earned mostly depended on how many tests you got, and you did not really control that. There were not many testing opportunities, so you could not earn much.
How Octappush paid
| Method | Minimum | Notes |

| PayPal | $15 | The only payout option |
