Kaboodle MR pays you to take part in focus groups, interviews, product tests, mystery shopping and surveys. I signed up to see how it works and how well it pays. It is legit and pays well per project, but invites are rare. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.
Legit and pays well per project, but invites are rare
No payout threshold and £10 to £15 for short activities. But you will be lucky to get one invite a month. UK only.

The short answer
Kaboodle MR is a legit market research panel. It pays you to take part in its research activities, there is no payout threshold, and it pays by bank transfer or Amazon vouchers.
But you cannot rely on it as a source of steady income, because invites are few and far between. In my experience, you will be lucky to be invited once a month. It can be a good secondary site if you live in the UK, because it pays a decent amount per project.
- Decent rewards: around £10 to £15 for short activities
- £50 or more for in-person research
- No payout threshold
- Cash by bank transfer, or Amazon vouchers
- A phone number you can call during office hours
- Few invites, so you cannot rely on it
- Only available in the UK
- The website has little information and no FAQ page
- Most activities cannot be done on a phone

Is Kaboodle MR legit and safe?
Yes, Kaboodle MR is legit, because it pays you to take part in its research activities. But that does not make it a steady way to earn. Here is what you should know.
- Invites are rare
How much you earn depends on how often you are invited, and you have no control over that. In my experience, you will be lucky to be invited once a month. If there are no projects, you earn nothing.
- Some activities happen in person
In-person focus groups take place at their office during the scheduled session. In-person interviews and mystery shopping also mean you have to go somewhere.
- Answers are checked first
After you complete a survey, Kaboodle MR checks your answers. It sends the reward if everything checks out.
- Little information on the website
The website has barely any information about the earning opportunities and no FAQ page. For any question, you have to contact support.
My takeThe main drawback of Kaboodle MR, in my opinion, is that you cannot rely on it for steady income. The opportunities are few and far between. But it can be a good secondary site if you are eligible, because it pays a decent amount. Just do not expect to earn a lot from it.
Kaboodle MR invites are rare. The top sites in your country give you more ways to earn.

You earn by taking part in research activities. There are five types. Each invite email says what the activity is, what you earn and how you get paid. Tap one to read more.
Focus groups£50+ in person
A focus group is a group discussion about a topic, where you give your feedback or opinion. Online focus groups are a video call with the other group members. In-person focus groups take place at their office during the scheduled session.
InterviewsIn person or by phone
An interview is more like a survey done in person or over the phone. You give your opinion on products and services. You agree on the schedule with Kaboodle MR.
Product testingAt home
Kaboodle MR mails you a product. You fill out a form with your feedback on it. Sometimes you are also asked to make a video about the product.
Mystery shoppingIn a store
You visit a store, pose as a customer and take notes. Make sure the store does not recognize you as a mystery shopper, or the staff will behave differently and your feedback is not honest.
Paid surveysOnline
The survey link is in the invite email. Click it to open the survey. After you complete it, Kaboodle MR checks your answers and sends the reward if everything checks out.
How much can you make?
Kaboodle MR is rather generous with its rewards. When I tested it, activities that do not take much time usually paid around £10 to £15. In-person research usually pays £50 or more.
But how much you earn depends mostly on how often you are invited, and you have no control over that. In my experience, you will be lucky to be invited once a month.
That is why I would say the earning potential is not that good. It pays well, but you cannot rely on it as a stable source of extra cash.
Payout methods and speed
