I signed up for Intuit User Research to see what its paid studies are worth. It is legit, and studies pay a decent amount, but you only qualify if you use Intuit products, and invites are rare. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but only for Intuit users, and invites are rare
Paid studies about TurboTax, QuickBooks, MailChimp and more. Rewards as prepaid Visa or gift cards, no threshold.

The short answer
Intuit User Research is legit. It is the user testing program of Intuit, the maker of TurboTax, QuickBooks and MailChimp, and you can earn rewards by taking part in its studies.
But you only qualify if you use Intuit products, and there are very few studies. I never got an invite while I was testing it. Rewards come as a prepaid Visa card or gift cards, not cash.
- No payout threshold

- You can sign up regardless of where you live
- Very limited earning opportunities
- Only for users of Intuit products
- Does not provide support

Is Intuit User Research legit and safe?
Yes, Intuit User Research is legit, because you can earn rewards by taking part in its studies. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Very few studies
There are not a lot of opportunities to earn, so you cannot expect to earn regularly. I never got invited to a study while I was testing it.
- Only for users of Intuit products
Every study is about an Intuit product. When you sign up, you say which products you use. Be honest: if you do not use any Intuit products, you do not qualify.
- No cash rewards
Rewards are mostly a prepaid Visa card, and sometimes other digital gift cards. Intuit User Research does not pay cash.
- No support for the program
There is no member dashboard, no Help or FAQ page, and no dedicated support team. The Contact Us link is only for users of Intuit products. Your best bet is to reply to a study invite email.
My takeIn my opinion, Intuit User Research is not for everyone. If you use any of their programs, you are eligible to join. If you fit the bill, set your expectations properly, because it does not offer a lot of opportunities to earn. If you do not fit the bill, you are better off joining other user testing platforms.
Intuit User Research has very few studies. The top sites in your country give you more ways to earn.

There is one way to earn: studies about Intuit products.
StudiesVaries by study
After you create a profile, you can be invited to studies. There is no member dashboard where you can check for studies. Intuit emails you when there is a study for you, so check your inbox regularly. The email has all the information about the study, including the reward.
Studies are surveys, or meetings that take place in person or online. Online meetings are the most common. Every study is about one of Intuit’s products, such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, MailChimp or Mint.
This opportunity is quite specific, so if you ever get an invite from Intuit, consider yourself lucky.
How much can you make?
It depends on how many studies you can take part in, and there are not a lot of them. The pay per study depends on the type of study:
In-person studies typically pay more than $100. Online face-to-face meetings usually pay $70 to $130. Surveys typically pay around $1 to $5, depending on their length.
The site pays a decent amount per study. But you will seldom find opportunities to earn, so the earning potential of Intuit User Research is quite low, in my opinion.
How you get paid
| Reward | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Prepaid Visa card | None | The most common reward, sent by email |
| Other digital gift cards | None | From time to time, sent by email |
You receive the reward promised in the invite email when you complete a study. There is no threshold, so you get your earnings quickly. Intuit User Research does not offer cash rewards. For more sites that pay quickly, see the fastest paying sites.
