Honest Insite has paused its survey platform
In 2026, Honest Insite paused its survey platform, so you cannot join or earn on it now. All outstanding reward balances have been paid out.
Honest Insite says it is not sure when it will be back, but hopes to return. I will update this review if that changes. I keep my review below as a record. The survey sites I would pick instead are further down.
Honest Insite was a survey panel for the US and Canada that paid you for surveys. It has now paused its survey platform. I tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which survey sites I would pick instead.
Honest Insite has paused its survey platform
Honest Insite has paused its survey platform, so you can no longer earn on it. When it was running, it was legit and paid quite well per survey, but invites were rare and the payout threshold was high.

The short answer
Honest Insite has paused its survey platform. You can no longer join or earn there. All outstanding reward balances have been paid out.
When it was running, it was legit. It had been around since 2001 and paid you for completing surveys. It rewarded quite well per survey, but survey invites were rare and the payout threshold was high, so it was not the best survey option.

- Paid through PayPal
- A good support system
- Honest Insite has paused its survey platform
- Low earning potential
- A high payout threshold
- Only in the US and Canada
My experience with Honest Insite
I signed up for Honest Insite and went through the member dashboard, the profile, the games section, the payout options and support. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Was Honest Insite legit and safe?
Honest Insite has paused its survey platform, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, because it paid you for completing surveys. These were the catches.
- It has paused
Honest Insite paused its survey platform in 2026 and paid out all outstanding reward balances. It hopes to return, but is not sure when.
- A high payout threshold
PayPal started at $30 and you could only withdraw $30 or $50. A prepaid Visa card took $75. It took a lot of surveys to cash out.
- Rare survey invites
According to feedback from long-time members, survey invites did not come often.
- An unclear games section
The dashboard had a games section, but no information about how you would be rewarded for playing.
My takeHonest Insite has paused, so it is no longer an option. Even when it was running, the lack of surveys and the high payout threshold meant it was not worth becoming a member, in my opinion. See the alternatives below.
How you earned on Honest Insite
Paid surveys were the way to earn. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysAround $1 to $3
Before you received any survey invites, you had to complete your profile. There were a lot of questions, and you did not get any rewards for answering them.
Then Honest Insite emailed you when it had surveys for you. You answered several qualifying questions. If you qualified, you took the survey and received the promised reward. If not, you moved on to the next one.
GamesUnclear
The dashboard had a games section, but no information about how you would be rewarded. The games all involved some form of registration.
Maybe you had to reach a specific requirement to earn, or the games were only there for entertainment. Honest Insite needed to clarify this part of its website.

How much could you make?
Honest Insite said you could earn around $1 to $3 per completed survey, which is quite a decent amount.
But according to feedback from long-time members, survey invites did not come often. Together with the high payout threshold, that gave Honest Insite a pretty low earning potential, and it took some patience to cash out.
How Honest Insite paid
Every survey you completed added a set amount to your account balance. Each payout method had its own threshold.
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon gift card | $15 | Gift card |
| BestBuy gift card | $15 | Gift card |
| PayPal | $30 | Only $30 or $50 per withdrawal |
| Prepaid Visa card | $75 | Cash |
The payment threshold was quite high, so you could not withdraw your earnings quickly. For survey sites that let you cash out sooner, see the fastest paying survey sites.
