GooPoll is a UK survey panel that pays you for surveys and daily polls. I joined and tested it myself. Below is how it works, how you get paid, what readers report, and which sites I would pick first.
A legit UK panel, but few surveys and a £10 cash threshold
UK only. PayPal or bank transfer from 10,000 points (£10), gift cards from 5,000 points (£5). Expect few survey invites.

The short answer
GooPoll is a legit survey site that pays you for completing surveys and polls. It pays through PayPal, bank transfer or gift cards, and it has a user-friendly Android app.
But survey availability is pretty low, so it takes patience to reach the £10 cash threshold. 1,000 points are worth only £1, and you can cash out at most £20 at a time. It can be a decent secondary site, not a main one. The top survey sites in the UK give you more chances to earn.
- Pays through PayPal or bank transfer
- User-friendly Android app and a mobile-friendly site
- 200-point sign-up bonus
- A daily poll and points for completing your profile
- Simple referral program
- Limited earning opportunities
- Relatively high payout threshold for cash
- The app is only for Android
- UK only

Is GooPoll legit and safe?
Yes, GooPoll is a legit survey site that pays you for surveys and polls. That does not mean it is a good main site. Here is what you should know before you join.
- Few surveys
Most of the common feedback about GooPoll is about survey availability. You just will not receive a lot of survey invites, so it takes patience to reach the threshold.
- £10 threshold, £20 maximum
You need 10,000 points (£10) to cash out to PayPal or your bank, and you can cash out at most £20 per redemption. Gift cards start at 5,000 points (£5).
- Big point numbers, small value
1,000 points are worth £1. A reader wrote that the best survey he saw paid 120 points, which is £0.12.
- A reader reports a voucher delay
One reader wrote in 2021 that he had waited over 2 weeks for a voucher and got no reply when he asked about it.
- Android app only
The app is only on Google Play. On an iPhone, you use the mobile-friendly website.
My takeGooPoll can be a decent secondary site to join, since it offers convenient payment methods and an app. But set your expectations properly: survey availability is pretty low, so you need to be very patient to reach the threshold. If you want better options, the top survey sites in your country have good earning potential.
How you earn on GooPoll
There are 4 ways to earn. Surveys are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveys100 to 3,000 points
Log in to the dashboard to see the surveys you can answer, or wait for an email. Every survey shows the estimated time and the reward, so you can pick the ones that fit your time.
You first answer some pre-screening questions. If you pass, you answer the actual survey and get the reward. If you do not pass, you move on to the next survey. It can take patience to find surveys you qualify for.
When I tested GooPoll, surveys paid around 100 to 3,000 points (£0.10 to £3). A reader wrote that the best he saw was 120 points.
Daily polls10 points
You can answer one poll a day. It shows on your dashboard when you log in. A poll is usually one short multiple-choice question, so it takes a few seconds. Each poll is worth 10 points.
One reader wrote that he had only had 2 daily polls in over 6 months.
Completing your profile180 points in total
Your profile has 9 categories, and each one is worth 20 points. Completing your profile also gets you more survey invites, so do this first. Each category is like a short survey.
Referral program100 points per sign-up
You earn 100 points when someone you invite signs up. You can share your invite link, give your invite code, or let GooPoll email them. Your referral only has to complete the sign-up.
100 points are worth £0.10, so you should not expect to earn a lot this way.

How much can you make?
It depends mostly on how many surveys you get and how well they pay. There is no guarantee you will receive survey invites regularly. Completing your profile is the best way to get more.
Surveys pay around 100 to 3,000 points (£0.10 to £3) from what I saw. That is not bad for the time a survey takes. But you will not receive a lot of survey invites, so it is pretty hard to reach £10.
Overall, GooPoll has a relatively low earning potential. You need to be extra patient to redeem your rewards.
Payout methods and minimums
| Reward | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | 10,000 points (£10) | Maximum £20 per redemption |
| Bank transfer | 10,000 points (£10) | Maximum £20 per redemption |
| Gift cards: Amazon, iTunes, Netflix, GiftPay | 5,000 points (£5) | 1,000 points = £1 |
PayPal is the most convenient option in my opinion. For more sites that pay through PayPal, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Any Indians using this app?
got redeemed?
No, it is not available in India. You can check out the best sites in India here.
Think your reward range overly optimistic. I’ve been a member since the switch from Surveygoo, and so far the rewards have been EVEN WORSE than those surveygoo offers (which was pretty pathetic), The best I’ve seen so far is 120pts, ie £0.12.
Why do they NEED such large point offerings, why not 12pts and a cash in of 1000pts, seems more honest!
Thanks for sharing your experience about this.
I completely agree that offering so many points and then give them such a low value is definitely a trick to make it look you are earning more than you actually are. I prefer sites that have a more realistic conversion ratio as I, like you, think that is more honest and more transparent.
