Givvy Review 2026: Is It Legit? Pros, Cons and My Verdict

Givvy Rating

If you are looking for an efficient way to earn extra cash, Givvy isn’t an ideal option. Sure, it offers an interesting and fun way to earn, but the rewards you will earn are very low.

I tested the Givvy app to see if it is worth your time. It is legit and the payout threshold is very low, but the rewards are very low too. Below is how it works, what you can expect to earn, and which sites I recommend instead.

Legit, but the rewards are very low

A GPT app with surveys, offers and giveaways. 119 coins are worth only $0.01, so you need thousands of coins for $1.

Good for you ifYou have an Android phone, like simple games and offers, and do not mind earning very little.

The short answer

Givvy is a legit app. It pays you for answering surveys, completing offers and inviting friends, through PayPal or Revolut, from a very low threshold.

But the rewards are very low. In my account, 119 coins were worth $0.01, so you need thousands of coins to earn $1. If you are looking for an efficient way to earn extra cash, Givvy isn’t an ideal option.

What I like

What I don’t like
  • Low rewards
  • Limited earning opportunities offered for a GPT app
  • No FAQ section to help you if you have questions
  • Only available for Android

My experience with Givvy

I installed the original Givvy app and went through its earning methods and payout options. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Givvy pays very little for your time. The top sites in your country pay a lot more.

Is Givvy legit and safe?

Yes, Givvy is a legit app that pays you for its activities. But being legit does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Very low rewards

Most offers and surveys pay around 50 to 100 coins. At 119 coins for $0.01, you need thousands of coins to earn $1. That makes the low threshold kind of irrelevant.

  • Giveaways are a game of chance

Some giveaways cost coins per entry. There is no guarantee you will win, so be careful with how many coins you spend on them.

  • Do TheoremReach surveys on one site only

The surveys come from TheoremReach. If you already answer TheoremReach surveys on another site, choose only one, so your account does not get banned.

  • Link your account

You can log in without registering, but link Givvy to your Facebook or Google account. Otherwise you lose your progress if you reset your phone or uninstall the app.

  • Little information

There is no FAQ page about how the app works. For questions, you have to contact support.

My takeIn my opinion, if you are looking for an efficient way to earn extra cash, Givvy isn’t an ideal option. Sure, it offers an interesting and fun way to earn, but the rewards you will earn are quite low. To earn a decent amount, you will have to invest a significant amount of time.

How you earn on Givvy

There are 4 ways to earn, plus leaderboard bonuses. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveysSmall rewards
TheoremReach surveys in the Givvy app

Givvy is not a survey app and has no surveys of its own. It gives you access to the survey router TheoremReach. You first answer qualifying questions. If you qualify, you take the survey and earn the reward. If you do not qualify, you still get a small compensation for your time.

If you already answer TheoremReach surveys on another site, only use one site for them, so your account does not get banned. See my TheoremReach review.

Paid offersVaries per offer
Paid offers in the Givvy app

Offers usually ask you to download and play a mobile game or sign up for an app. Read the instructions carefully and follow them down to the T.

Some offers take time before they are credited. Keep a note of the offers you complete, so you can contact support if a reward does not arrive.

GiveawaysLuck only
Givvy giveaways

You can claim a free giveaway once a day, which usually gives you a certain number of coins. Other giveaways cost 10 coins per entry, and you can buy as many entries as your coins allow.

You can win a significant amount, but there is no guarantee. It is a game of chance, so it is not the ideal way to earn.

Referral program130 + 240 coins
Givvy referral program

Share your invite link. When someone signs up with it, you both get 130 coins. You get 240 more coins when your referral earns their first 500 coins. It is not significant, but you get a reward right away, which not a lot of GPT apps offer.

Leaderboards and time bonusTop earners only
Givvy leaderboards

There is a daily and a weekly leaderboard. The top earners get extra rewards. You also get bonus coins the longer you are logged in and using the app. Getting to the top takes a significant amount of time.

How much can you make?

Most offers and surveys earn you around 50 to 100 coins, some more. That sounds like a lot, but it isn’t: 119 coins are only worth $0.01. You have to earn thousands of coins for a mere $1.

You can boost your earnings by reaching the top of the leaderboards, but that takes a significant amount of time. Overall, Givvy has a very low earning potential.

Payout methods and minimums

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$0.29Coins are converted to the currency you chose
Revolut$0.1Coins are converted to the currency you chose

You choose your currency when you register. In my case, I chose US dollars, and the exchange rate was 119 coins for $0.01. The threshold is very low, but with rewards this low, it still takes a long time to earn a decent amount. For more sites that pay this way, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
