Clear Voice Surveys Review 2026: Is It Legit? Pros, Cons and My Verdict

Clear Voice Surveys Rating

Clear Voice Surveys is a legit paid survey site - but it has a lot of limitations and not very good earning opportunities. There are just simply many better options.

I joined and tested Clear Voice Surveys myself and compared it to the hundreds of other survey sites I have tested. It is legit, but in my opinion it is not worth joining for most people. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Last tested

Legit, but a waste of time for most people

Few surveys, a long unpaid profile and Amazon gift cards as the only reward. The sweepstakes are the main plus.

Good for you ifYou live in the US, the UK or Canada, want Amazon gift cards, and like a shot at the sweepstakes prizes.
Skip it ifYou want cash or PayPal, regular surveys, or you live outside the US, the UK and Canada.

The short answer

Clear Voice Surveys is legit and not a scam. It has existed since 2006, and you can earn from its surveys.

But in my opinion it is not worth joining for most people. The times I checked the site, I mostly did not have any surveys available. The profile takes around 30 minutes and pays no bonus. The only reward is an Amazon gift card code, and only for the US, the UK and Canada. There are many better survey sites.

What I like
  • Big sweepstakes prizes: daily, weekly and monthly
  • Fairly easy to use
  • A reasonable $10 payout threshold
  • Mobile-friendly website
What I don’t like
  • Poor payout methods: Amazon gift cards only, no cash
  • Too much profile info to fill out, with no bonus for it
  • Few surveys and low rewards compared to other sites
  • Not a lot of in-depth information about how the site works
  • Polls that pay nothing
  • A poor “invite-a-friend” program

My experience with Clear Voice Surveys

I joined Clear Voice Surveys, filled out the profile, and checked the surveys, polls, sweepstakes and reward options. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

  • A payout. I tried to earn, but I did not reach the $10 threshold, so my review does not show a cashout from Clear Voice Surveys.
  • Product testing. I could not find any information about it after logging in.
  • Receipt scanning and the games. My review describes them, but does not show that I used them.

Is Clear Voice Surveys legit and safe?

Yes, Clear Voice Surveys is legit and not a scam. But being legit does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.

  • There are few surveys

The times I checked the site, I mostly did not have any surveys available. This can differ from country to country, but from what I have heard from others, many do not have a lot of available surveys. The rewards are also not very high compared to other sites.

  • Amazon gift cards are the only reward

According to its FAQ, the only reward is an Amazon gift card code, for the US, the UK and Canada. There is no way to get your money out in cash.

  • A long profile with no bonus

You fill out several small profiles about different topics. Overall, it will probably take you around 30 minutes, and you do not get any bonus for it, as you do on some sites.

  • Your account closes after 60 days

Clear Voice Surveys closes your account if you have not taken any surveys for 60 days. Do not leave your earnings in your account too long, or you risk losing them.

  • Little information about how it works

There are no clear instructions about how the invite-a-friend program works, how to earn sweepstakes entries, or how to get product tests. You have to do a lot of digging, and that is not very user-friendly.

My takeIn conclusion, Clear Voice Surveys is NOT a site I recommend joining. Yes, it does have some good sides, and it is legit. But the cons outweigh the pros for me. If you want to make money on paid surveys, there are a lot of other sites that will give you better and more opportunities, and your time is better spent on those.

How you earn on Clear Voice Surveys

Surveys are the main way to earn. The other options pay little, or nothing at all. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveysMain earner
All the profile info you have to fill out on Clear Voice Surveys

Clear Voice Surveys is, first of all, a paid survey site, and this is the main way to make money here. How many surveys you get can vary a lot from country to country. In my experience, there are not as many surveys as on my favorite survey sites, and the rewards are not very high.

You are encouraged to fill out your profile to qualify for more surveys. On Clear Voice Surveys, there is A LOT of profile info to fill out, and you do not get any bonus for it. It will probably take you around 30 minutes, but you do not have to fill out all the profiles at the same time.

SweepstakesPrizes, not guaranteed
Clear Voice Surveys sweepstakes

There is a daily, a weekly and a monthly sweepstakes. In the daily sweep you can win $100, in the weekly $250, and in the monthly $1000. A timer counts down to when the winner is selected.

You earn entries by being active on the platform. There is not a lot of information about exactly how you get extra entries. It is a nice extra chance to win some money if you are using Clear Voice Surveys anyway.

PollsNo reward
Daily polls on Clear Voice Surveys

The polls are very short and usually take less than 30 seconds. You can also create polls yourself or vote on polls from other members. You see the statistics of the answers afterwards.

You will not get any rewards for them. Personally, I think this feature is pointless as a member. Other sites, like Toluna and TimeBucks, also let you create and answer polls, but there you at least get rewards for it.

Referral program$0.50 per friend

You invite friends by email with an invitation link. When a friend joins and completes their first survey, you get $0.50. But you can only get paid for referring up to 10 friends. After 5 referrals you also get sweepstakes entries, but you are not told how many.

It is one of the worst invite-a-friend programs I have seen on survey sites. A site like PrizeRebel has no limit on how many friends you can invite, and offers a lot better rewards.

Receipt scanningSmall rewards

Instead of throwing away your grocery receipts, take a photo of them, upload them to the website, and earn small rewards. It does not pay much, but it turns your trash into treasure, so to speak.

Playing gamesPer milestone

You earn additional rewards by playing the featured games. Each game has tasks, such as reaching a certain milestone. When you hit it, you receive the promised reward. It is a decent way to earn more rewards, in my opinion.

Product testingRare, if at all

You are supposedly able to test products and get paid for it. But when you log in, you cannot find any information about this, and it is not in the FAQ either. It is only mentioned in the official presentation video, so do not expect to be offered it often.

How much can you make?

Not much. The earning possibilities compared to the time you spend are just too poor on Clear Voice Surveys, compared to many other sites.

There are few surveys, the rewards are not very high, and the polls pay nothing. The referral program pays $0.50 per friend for up to 10 friends. The sweepstakes can give you some nice winnings, but only if you are lucky.

Payout method and minimum

MethodMinimumWhere
Amazon gift card code$10US, UK and Canada, in your local currency

The payout methods have changed a bit over the years since I first reviewed Clear Voice Surveys. They have never been great, in my opinion, and now they are even more limited. According to its FAQ, the only reward it now offers is Amazon gift card codes for the US, the UK and Canada.

Many other sites offer Amazon gift cards and better opportunities in general. See the best survey sites for Amazon gift cards.

Two readers wrote that their Clear Voice Surveys login details turned up in a data leak (2021 and 2023). I have not been able to check this myself.

  1. I recently COMPLETED a Clear Voice Survey which took about 20 minutes. This survey was presented to me by Survey Junkie. At the end of the survey I was told that I would not get credit for the survey due to some kind of issue with Survey Junkie. Instead I was offered an opportunity to join Clear Voce, which I did not and never will do.

  2. I’m one survey in for $5 so far. I agree that most of the initial registration questions were part of a survey. I will wait for full 7-days to see if they are any results or a real payout. I’m exhausted & will resume in the morning. Also, trying to find this site in the App Store.
    WOWS!!!

  3. I emailed you once before about removing my password from Clearvoice survey and it hasn’t been done so please I’m asking you to do it for me as I’ve been informed it’s been used on the dark web. I hope you will do this for me.
Hope to hear from you soon.

  4. ClearVoiceSurveys isn’t good. They have different categories and product-related surveys. I entered surveys and I answered so many multiple questions. And then they say you are not qualified and then you got paid only 10cents.

If the questions were only a few and then I found out I was not qualified, then that is OK.
Some surveys, I answered questions page after pages and then it says I was not qualified. Almost like you felt cheated by these tactics.

  5. I agree that Clearvoice is awful. I was recruited for a focus group that was supposed to be over an hour. At the time of the focus group I followed all the instructions correctly and promptly. I had to rearrange my schedule to participate. But the very second the “join conversation” button became available I immediately clicked it but was taken to a page that indicated all the spots were already filled. They have you check in 7 minutes early even. I never looked away from the page either. So I wasted my time and ended up missing an important appointment for nothing. For a disabled person like myself, it is more than just a disappointment. It is unprofessional and honestly harmful.

So I do not recommend anyone join their panel unless they completely redesign their recruitment process.

  7. I was just notified by one of my credit trackers that Clear Voice Surveys server was hacked and the personal info of their users is out on the darkweb. Fortunate I had not filled out all their profile questions so only my email address, password, & DOB were listed. And I know I have changed my email password several times since I signed up with them so that won’t be an issue.
This is where I feel uneasy giving the full DOB on these types of sites; they should be able to get by with only Month & Year!

  8. Clear voice Surveys is horrible. It takes forever to get to $10.00. It takes at LEAST 3 months. Then I did a survey in June 2018, it was a 2 person survey, I completed my part, in full, said it was Successful, I then sent it to my coworker. She completed it and was compensated. I asked in January when I would be compensated and I was told in a couple more weeks. I then inquired yesterday, Feb 18, 2019 when I would get my June reward and I was told I didn’t meet the criteria and I will not receive the reward. Crappy company. I recommend NOT joining CLEAR VOICE SURVEYS. I do however recommend Survey Junkie. As soon as you reach $10 00 you get it instantly. No waiting 6 months and the surveys are easy.

  9. Hi, I am from Nairobi – Kenya (East Africa) and would like to know/ask why many survey sites in Kenya won’t/don’t have in their paying methods one of the most used paying method in Kenya/East Africa – Mpesa (paid through phone)?

In Kenya where do I get paypal, payza etc

    Thanks!

    • Hi Michael,

As far as I am aware, there are not many survey sites that have a specific panel just for Kenya, and therefore they are usually using payout methods that are more international. Can I ask you which survey sites you have found to be good in Kenya? Would be great to know a bit more about this.

PayPal is very easy to get. It is available in Kenya, so all you have to do is to go to PayPal’s website and then you can create a free account. There are many great survey sites that offer payout through PayPal, so it is great to have an account.
