Cashback UK is a decent site to earn extra cash. It offers convenient payout options and has a good number of earning opportunities available at any given time. You just have to be patient because it can take time before you can cash out your earnings.

Cashback UK is a UK site that pays you for tasks, offers and surveys. Despite the name, you do not have to spend money to earn. I tested it myself. Below is how it works, how you get paid, and which sites I would pick first.

The short answer

Cashback UK is a legit GPT site that pays you for tasks, offers and surveys. It is only open to people in the UK. You can cash out to PayPal or your bank account from £5.

The catch: before you can cash out, you have to complete at least one task on each of the 15 levels, so your first payout takes time. And the offers that pay the most often ask you to buy something. It is fine as a secondary site, but there are far better options as a main one.

What I like
  • PayPal or bank transfer payouts
  • A decent number of ways to earn at any given time
  • Works well in a mobile browser
What I don’t like
  • Some opportunities require you to spend money
  • It can take a while before you can cash out
  • Not many surveys when I tested it
  • UK only

Is Cashback UK legit and safe?

Yes, Cashback UK is a legit GPT site. These are the catches to know before you join.

  • Your first cashout takes time

You have to complete at least one task on each of the 15 levels before you can cash out. Every level has to turn green first.

  • Some offers ask you to spend money

Offers that pay a lot (usually more than £20) often ask you to make a purchase. You spend much more than the reward you get back, so I would skip them.

  • Few surveys

When I tested it, there were not many surveys. They usually pay more than the offers without a purchase, so take them when they show up.

  • UK only

You have to live in the UK and be at least 18.

My takeCashback UK is a decent secondary site if you live in the UK. Be patient with the first cashout, and skip the offers that ask you to buy something. As a main site, there are far better options.

How you earn on Cashback UK

There are 4 ways to earn. Tap one to read more.

TasksSet per task
Cashback UK tasks in the member dashboard

The tasks are the first thing you see when you log in. They are fairly easy, and usually just mean being an active member of the site. Each completed task pays a set reward.

You cannot ignore them: completing tasks is part of the requirement to cash out.

OffersSet per offer
Cashback UK offers in the Extra Cashback section

Click “Extra Cashback” in the dashboard to see the offers. Most ask you to sign up for a website or play a mobile game. If an offer asks you to install an app, open it from your phone.

Every offer has requirements you must meet to get the reward. Some ask you to make a purchase. You can usually spot those by the big reward (more than £20 most of the time). You spend much more than you get back, so look for offers without a purchase instead.

There is a decent number of offers at any given time.

Paid surveysSet per survey
Cashback UK Daily Surveys section

Go to “Daily Surveys” and pick a survey provider. The first time, you set up your profile with that provider. Then you see the surveys available for you.

Each survey starts with a few qualifying questions. If you qualify, you answer the survey and get the reward. It can take a while before the reward shows up in your balance.

When I tested it, there were not many surveys. Most surveys pay more than offers without a purchase, so I would take them first.

Referral program10% commission
Cashback UK referral program

Share your referral link. When someone signs up through it, they get a £10 joining bonus, and you get a 10% commission on what they earn.

Your commission is only credited once your referral has earned over £10 from tasks, so only invite people who really want to use the site.

How much can you make?

It depends on how much time you put in. There is no shortage of ways to earn, but most free opportunities do not pay that well, so it takes a while to earn a meaningful amount.

The offers and tasks that pay a lot usually ask you to spend money. Overall, I would call the earning potential decent: not high, but not low either.

How Cashback UK pays

Before your first cashout, you have to complete at least one task on each of the 15 levels in the Tasks section. Then you can cash out from £5.

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal£5Paid on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Bank transfer£5Paid on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

If you request a payout after 9 am on a payment day, it goes into the next payment run.

I like the payout methods, but the extra task requirement makes the first cashout slower. If you want to cash out quickly, see the fastest paying sites.

Can you use it on mobile?

There is no app, but the dashboard works well in a mobile browser. You will need your phone anyway, because some offers and tasks ask you to install apps.
