Is Bulbshare Legit or a Scam? (Real User Review)

Bulbshare Rating

The bad thing about Bulbshare is there’s no guarantee you will earn from the opportunities it offers. You will have to wait for Bulbshare to invite you to participate in paid opportunities, which isn’t really the best way to earn, in my opinion.

I tried Bulbshare myself to see if you can earn by sharing your opinion with brands. It is legit, and paid briefs go straight to PayPal, but most briefs pay nothing and you have to wait for an invite to the paid ones. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit, but no guarantee you will ever earn

Paid briefs pay around $5 to $10 each, straight to PayPal. Most briefs are unpaid, and paid ones are by invitation only.

Good for you ifYou mainly want your opinion about brands and causes to be heard, and earning is a bonus.

The short answer

Bulbshare is legit. It is an app that combines a social media platform and a survey site. You answer “briefs” from brands and causes, and you upload a photo or a video to complete them.

But most briefs do not pay anything. You only get invited to paid briefs once Bulbshare sees you are a very active member, and the best ones sit in exclusive channels. There is no guarantee you will earn, so I do not recommend it if you want to earn extra cash.

What I like
  • No payout threshold
  • Pays via PayPal, automatically after each paid brief
  • Paid briefs pay more than your average paid survey
  • Available globally
  • The app is easy to use
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities: most briefs are unpaid
  • It takes some time before you can start earning
  • Paid briefs are by invitation only
  • The website has little information for members

My experience with Bulbshare

I installed Bulbshare and looked at how the briefs, the channels and the payouts work. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Bulbshare legit and safe?

Yes, Bulbshare is legit, because it rewards you for sharing your opinion. But earning from it is not as easy as answering questions on a survey site. Here is what you should know before you install it.

  • Most briefs do not pay

Not all briefs offer rewards. Most of them do not. But you have to do them anyway, because that is the only way to get invited to paid briefs.

  • Paid briefs are by invitation

When Bulbshare sees that you are a very active member, it starts sending you invites to paid briefs. There is no guarantee this happens, especially when you are just starting.

  • The best channels are exclusive

Briefs with a padlock icon are only for members of a brand’s or organization’s channel. To join one, you need an invite from Bulbshare or the channel code. In my experience, the open channels do not offer a lot of paid briefs.

  • You share photos and videos

To complete a brief, you answer questions and then take a photo or upload a video. That is more work than a normal paid survey.

  • Keep track of your paid briefs

Payouts are automatic, so take note of every paid brief you complete. That way, you can check if you received your compensation.

My takeIf you are mainly looking for a reliable app to earn extra cash from, then Bulbshare is not the best option. There is no guarantee you will earn, and you have to wait for Bulbshare to invite you to paid opportunities. That is why I do not recommend it to earn extra cash. But if you just want to share your opinion about brands and causes, then I would say you should go for this app.

Bulbshare does not guarantee you will earn. These sites let you start earning right after you sign up.

How you earn on Bulbshare

There is one way to earn: paid briefs. Getting to them takes some steps. Tap one to read more.

BriefsMostly unpaid
Briefs in the Bulbshare app

Brief is the term Bulbshare uses for its survey-like opportunities. When you log in to the app, you immediately see all the briefs you can take part in. Tap one, and you usually see a short video or photo intro.

To take part, swipe up. You answer a bunch of questions by swiping left or right, or by choosing an answer from a list. Then you take a photo or upload a video to complete the brief.

Most briefs do not pay. But doing them is the only way to get invited to paid briefs, so they are not wasted.

Paid briefsAround $5 to $10

When Bulbshare sees that you are a very active member, it starts sending you invites to paid briefs. They work the same way as normal briefs: answer the questions and upload a photo or video. Afterward, you receive compensation.

Each paid brief pays around $5 to $10, which is more than your average paid survey. But there is no guarantee you will be invited.

Exclusive channelsInvite or channel code

A channel is a brand’s or organization’s community of creators. Briefs with a padlock icon belong to an exclusive channel. To join it, Bulbshare has to invite you, or you need the channel code.

There are also channels that are open to all, but in my experience they do not offer a lot of paid briefs. The exclusive channels are your best bet for paid briefs, and that is where most of your earnings will come from.

How much can you make?

Bulbshare pays a decent amount when you get invited to a paid brief: around $5 to $10 per paid brief, which is more than your average paid survey.

But not all briefs offer rewards, and it takes some time before you can start earning. There is no guarantee you will be invited to paid briefs, especially when you are just starting. That is why I would say the app has a low earning potential, even though it pays well. It is simply not a good app to earn from regularly.

How you get paid

MethodMinimumSpeed
PayPalNo thresholdAround a day or two, sometimes faster

You are paid automatically via PayPal every time you complete a paid brief. You do not have to reach a threshold to withdraw. Take note of all the paid briefs you complete, so you can check that you received your compensation.

Overall, the payment system is really easy to understand, and I like that it uses PayPal. For more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Who can join Bulbshare?

Bulbshare is available globally, so you can register wherever you live. You must be at least 18 years old.

Bulbshare is a mobile-only platform for Android and iOS. Its website does not link to the app, so search for Bulbshare in Google Play or the iOS App Store. After you install it, sign up with your Facebook account or set up your own login details. Then you can start on briefs, but do not expect to earn right after you register.

Being mobile-only makes it easy to upload photos and videos with your phone’s camera.
