I tested Acumen Panel, a survey panel for people in Ireland. It is legit and pays a decent rate per survey, but there are not many surveys and you only get vouchers, no cash. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but few surveys and no cash rewards
€1 for a 5-minute survey and vouchers from 1,000 Sharepoints. Only for people in Ireland.

The short answer
Acumen Panel is legit. It rewards you for surveys and other research activities, and €1 for a 5-minute survey is a decent rate compared to many other survey sites.
But it does not offer many surveys, so you cannot earn regularly from it, and there are no cash rewards, only AllGift.ie vouchers. It is only open to people in Ireland. At best, it is a decent secondary site.
- A decent reward rate: €1 for a 5-minute survey
- 10 Sharepoints even when you do not qualify for a survey
- Product tests and focus groups pay around €10 up to €200
- The site is mobile-friendly and user-friendly
- Limited earning opportunities: not many surveys
- No cash rewards, only vouchers and gift cards
- Only for people in Ireland
- Redeeming takes more steps than on most survey sites
- No mobile app
My experience with Acumen Panel
I joined Acumen Panel and looked at the surveys, the member dashboard and how you redeem your points. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Acumen Panel legit and safe?
Yes, Acumen Panel is legit, because it rewards you for taking part. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Not many surveys
Acumen Panel does not offer many surveys compared to the top survey sites, and you will not qualify for every one. So even with a decent rate, the earning potential is low.
- No cash rewards
You redeem your Sharepoints for AllGift.ie voucher codes. Mastercard gift cards are only an option for focus groups, product tests and online communities. There is no PayPal or bank transfer.
- Invitations come by email
Survey invites and other activities are sent by email. Check your inbox regularly, or you miss out.
- Readers report no reply from support
Two readers wrote that they got no reply to their emails. One could not access the member area, and one had not received a single survey after a few weeks.
My takeAcumen Panel is a decent survey site, provided you set your expectations properly. If you are mainly looking for a primary site to earn from, then Acumen Panel is not an ideal option. At best, it can only serve as a decent secondary site to earn from.
Acumen Panel has few surveys and no cash rewards. These sites in Ireland let you earn more regularly.

There are 2 ways to earn. Both start with an email invitation. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveys€1 per 5 minutes
Once you are a member, Acumen Panel emails you survey invitations from time to time. Click the link, and answer a set of qualifying questions first.
If you qualify, you answer the actual survey and earn 20 Sharepoints for each estimated minute. A 6-minute survey pays 120 Sharepoints. If you do not qualify, you still get 10 Sharepoints. It is a very small amount, but most survey sites do not give you anything.
Product tests and focus groupsAround €10 to €200
From time to time, you can be invited to test a product or join a focus group. The instructions come in the email. For a product test, you usually get a product to try and then answer a questionnaire.
These activities pay significantly more than surveys, because they take more time and effort. But they are not very common, so you cannot expect an invite regularly. I was not invited to one.
How much can you make?
Surveys pay €1 for 5 minutes, which is a relatively decent rate. Product tests and focus groups pay around €10 up to €200, but they are rare.
The problem is that there are not many surveys, and you will not always qualify. So even though the site pays rather well, the earning potential is relatively low. It takes patience to earn a decent amount.
Rewards and minimum
| Reward | Minimum | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| AllGift.ie voucher code | 1,000 Sharepoints | Click “redeem my points” in the dashboard, choose the amount, and redeem the code on AllGift.ie |
| Allgo Digital+ Mastercard or Perx Mastercard gift card | Paid per activity | Only for focus groups, product tests and online communities. Choose it before you start the activity. |
100 Sharepoints are worth €1. After you redeem a voucher code on AllGift.ie, you can order a product, service or gift card from AllGift.ie. The process takes more steps than on most survey sites, but it becomes relatively straightforward once you get the hang of it.

What readers told me
This review has 3 comments since 2022: 2 from readers and 1 reply from me.
Both readers emailed Acumen Panel and got no reply. One could not access the member area, and one had not received any surveys a few weeks after joining.
“Joined in April 2022, completed about 30 surveys, no communication from them whatsoever other than requests to complete surveys. Cannot access panel member area. No response to three requests to change password.”
Mikael: I would not say I am positive. I only give it 2.5 stars out of 5. But your experiences definitely sound frustrating. Thanks for sharing so others can see.

Can’t say I share your positivity about Acumen. Joined in April 2022, completed about 30 surveys, no communication from them whatsoever other than requests to complete surveys. Cannot access panel member area. No response to three requests to change password. No response to emails. ??????

I joined with them a few weeks back. I haven’t even received even one survey. I sent them 2 emails asking as to why I haven’t received even one survey & got no reply back. It was a total waste of my time joining that site. Don’t waste your time with them.?
