I joined ZoomBucks to test it and compare it to the hundreds of survey and Get-Paid-To sites I have tested. It is legit and has some decent ways to earn, but its support did not answer me for months, and its sister site GrabPoints does the same thing better. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

But it is a platform I do not recommend. When I needed help, its support did not answer me for months, and readers still report support that does not help and rewards stuck in pending. It offers the same as GrabPoints, run by the same company, just with fewer options.

Is ZoomBucks legit and safe?
Yes, ZoomBucks is legit. It has real ways to earn. But there are some big minuses you need to know before you join.
- Support does not always answer
I ran into a problem with my account when I first joined and wrote to support. After a couple of weeks, I had not heard back. I wrote again, and several months later I still had no answer. ZoomBucks later replied to me in the comments. Readers in 2025 still describe support that does not respond or gives vague replies.
- Rewards stuck in pending and accounts under review
Readers reported reward requests that stayed pending, an account that stayed under review after an ID and face check, and withdrawals blocked by a profile message. These reports are from 2022 to 2024. Other readers in 2022 and 2023 wrote that they were paid without problems.

Readers mention a phone number check and an ID and face check when an account is under review.
- Read the conditions of every offer
Some offers ask you to play a game for a certain time or pay for a trial that continues if you forget to cancel. If an offer does not track and support does not help, stop and do not spend more time on it.
My takeZoomBucks has some decent ways to earn. But it basically offers the exact same things as GrabPoints, which is owned by the same company, just with fewer options, and GrabPoints is the better of the two. That the support did not answer when I needed their help is a huge concern to me. It makes it a site I do not want to use anymore, even though I eventually heard back from them in a comment below this review.

Surveys through survey routersDecent rewards
ZoomBucks offers surveys through survey routers. It used to have its own survey section, but those surveys came from survey routers too.
There are quite a lot of survey routers, and the rewards are decent compared to similar sites. With survey routers, you often do not qualify, but with patience you get access to a good number of surveys. You also get email reminders, a bit too many in my opinion.
Paid offers and offer wallsCan pay well
Earn by taking paid trial offers, visiting websites, trying apps, cashback offers and more. Some give really good rewards.
Read the conditions of each offer, so you know exactly what you are getting into.
Watch videosVery low
You watch videos through LootTV and HideoutTV. You earn 7 points for every 3 videos with their ads, which takes around 10 minutes. 7 points are worth $0.007.
So you would have to watch videos and ads for more than 23 hours to earn $1. The videos can be entertaining, but they are not worth watching just to earn.
Invite friends7% commission
You earn a 7% commission on what the people you invite earn. It has improved since I first tested it, when you only got a small one-time reward. It is still not great compared to a site like PrizeRebel.
How much can you make?
ZoomBucks has quite a few ways to earn and decent rewards for some of them, so it is possible to earn some extra cash on the side.
In my experience, it is not the site with the best opportunities, and there are sites that are better and easier to use. How much you can earn also depends a lot on the country you live in. Survey and GPT sites are a way to earn extra cash, not a full-time income.

ZoomBucks has simplified its point value and lowered its payout threshold since I first tested it. In some countries you find a lot of payout options, in others only a few.
What 31 readers told me
This review has 31 comments since 2019: 16 from readers and ZoomBucks, and 15 replies from me. These are the four things readers write about most.
Readers from 2022 to 2024 report reward requests that stayed pending, an account under review that was never fixed, and withdrawals that were blocked.
Readers write that support did not reply, or replied with vague answers. One later wrote that support did get back and helped.
Two readers like the site. One wrote that it has served them well for two years, with gift cards arriving in 2 or 3 days; another has never had a problem with payouts.
A reader in Brazil found the video section very weak.

To be honest, I won $2 in just 20 minutes on Zoombucks, but there is something that bothers me and intrigues me, because I try to contact support and they do not respond, because I am in a game offer that has been playing me and occupying the time of 19 hours per day and my in-game rewards are not credited to my wallet on Zoombucks, I am afraid of continuing to occupy my time and that in the end I will lose it since they do not give me answers from technical support or anything similar, it is my frustration.

If you have problems with the tracking and cannot get help from their support, you should definitely not continue, in my opinion.

I reached 50 invites in grabpoints then they gave me issue saying i do self referral, but that s not true, they decided to transfer my points to zoombucks if i want too, so i joined, i claimed my first reward, then I reached 51 invites so i almost do nothing, then suddenly pending my rewards request and is i do a lot of emails to them… this 2 survey site is bullshit

Thanks for the article! But I disagree with your rating. For me I have been able to make more money faster than other surveys sites like Ipsos surveys. The customer support was surprisingly helpful even though they didn’t respond to me on the first day when I didn’t get my gift card after 7 days. It does take a while to get the reward usually about 2 or 3 days. I personally have had a pretty good experience sometimes up to 10 dollars a day which is great if I just want a 20-dollar gift card for Amazon. Like most surveys sites it can be frustrating to qualify for a survey especially higher-paying ones. I never post comments or reviews but as far as survey sites go, this is the only one I use and it has served me well for the past 2 years!

I’m having issues trying to verify my phone number. I put the + followed by my area code and phone number, but it still won’t work. I’ve contacted them twice already and haven’t heard from them.

I have experienced the same problem with the Zoombuck’s support. So after nit getting a reply after having contacted them several times, I decided to not use it anymore.
I am using GrabPoints instead which is similar in many ways but even better and they have support that replies.
Hi Mikael! They actually did get back to me and helped verify my account even after I still had trouble verifying. Now, I have redeemed a $10 E-shop code and waiting for it to arrive.
Btw I tried Grabpoints and I do NOT like it because they require ID etc. and that’s one thing I am not willing to give.

I understand your concerns about giving ID. I have, however, seen how many people try to cheat survey and Get-Paid-To sites so I understand some sites need extra verification. Personally, I do not have a problem about using ID to verify my account as long as I know it is a legit site like GrabPoints. But it is, of course, a matter of personal preferences.
