My experience with Words to Win
I installed Words to Win, played the levels and checked the payout screen and its Google Play page. I compared it with the hundreds of apps I have tested. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Was Words to Win legit and safe?
Words to Win has closed, so you can no longer use it. Even when it was available, I did not recommend it. These were the red flags I found.

- Unrealistic rewards
Around $4 to $5 for an easy word puzzle. An app cannot pay that from the ads it shows. In my experience, rewards this generous mean the app does not intend to let you withdraw.
- An absurd payout threshold, with new conditions
You needed $500 to withdraw. The closer you got, the smaller the rewards became. 45 reader comments report a new condition once they reached the threshold, such as playing 80 levels a day for 3 days in a row and then reaching player level 31.
- Early Access to avoid reviews
The app stayed in Early Access on Google Play with more than 5 million downloads. In Early Access, users cannot leave a review, so you could not see other people’s experiences.
- Spammy ads
Every few levels, you had to watch a video ad to keep playing. Most were about get-rich-quick schemes, so do not believe what they say.

Every level was a word puzzle. You picked the right letters to beat it, and your balance went up by around $4 to $5.
The levels were very easy. Even an elementary school student could beat them. Every few levels, you had to watch a video ad to keep playing.
That was the first thing that made me suspicious: a simple game paying that much is too good to be true.

How Words to Win said it paid
Your rewards went into your Words to Win balance right away. To withdraw, you needed at least $500. I never checked which payout methods it offered, because the threshold was so high.
In my experience, no legit app makes you earn hundreds of dollars before you can withdraw. With apps like this, you sooner or later hit a wall that keeps you from ever reaching the threshold, or a new hurdle once you do. If you want sites that pay you, see the top sites that pay through PayPal.

OMG! I wish I saw this review before downloading and putting all hopes in withdrawing from the app someday. I was so broken when I got to the minimum required pay out and another challenge after another came up. It was so provoking

I was very skeptical about the game but I decided to give it a try first I played the game till I got to $500 and then inorder to withdraw the money I was asked to log into the game for three consecutive days and answer 80 questions and after the three days I was asked to reach level 31 inorder to withdraw but I was still in level 23 and since then the level has refused to increase.

Words to win is only a scam that intends to benefit from your data…..I played it and when I withdraw it said I need to reach R1000 in order to withdraw, I played again then when I withdraw it said I need to play 80 games for 3 consecutive days inorder to be able to withdraw.

I followed through meticulous up to level 1987 inly to meet stringent conditions that I have to log in fi 3 consecutive days and reach a sub level 31.I got to level 25 and never was able to get any higher.I reached higher and above 3 thresh holds but couldn’t reach that conditions of withdrawal…it is a big scam,not legit but time wasting and extremely annoying app

I’m playing it right now and planning to delete it. I already reached $1196.52 dollars and no matter what I do I can’t withdraw it. First, it says I just need to reach a certain amount, so I aimed for only $500. It’s hard since the closer you are to your goal the lesser the amount they give to the point that every level only amount to $0.01 even with the help of ads and lottery wheel. But, that’s not all, when I reached the $500 mark, the condition for withdrawal changed. It says I have to play for 3 consecutive days with 80 levels each to withdraw it. So, I played again that I already reached $1000 in 3 days. But, after completing my 80th level to withdraw my $500, the conditions changed again to “The user level needs to reach level 31”, I’m currently level 24 and as I observe it my level isn’t increasing anymore.
So, in conclusion this app is a trash; it’s a fake, a scam, and totally a waste of time. I’m deleting it now. Thank you for this post, I can finally decide to stop it.

Hi! I also tried this app out of curiosity, and I wasn’t expecting anything from an app that’s as unrealistic as you say. in this trial I also deliberately took a few minutes every day to play.
In the beginning, I can skip the ads after 5 seconds, but as time goes on, you’re required to watch them all the way through. On the other hand, the rewards get less and less as you get closer to the target, until it’s less than 2% of the initial reward!
okay I guess this still makes sense, because maybe the developer will give us some adsense money from the many ads we watch. and I reached the minimum withdrawal target, but after that I was told to answer 80 questions for three days in a row. okay, I still tried to comply. after that was also achieved, I was told to level up to 31. bro, here I feel that my good prejudice against the developer is very futile hahaha. in fact, at this point I still think “hmm maybe the developer is curating people who are really trying” lmao. but nahh bro, enough.

Yes, you will not get paid and they will come up with some kind of extra requirement or excuse or might even ask you to pay a fee first – do NOT pay them anything.
