Wealth Words Review – Legit or Scam? (An Inside Look)

Wealth Words Rating

Wealth Words is not an ideal site to earn extra cash from. While it offers a free option, you will eventually have to spend money to keep earning, and the user experience on the platform is very bad.

Wealth Words lets you play word puzzle games for prizes. I tested it to see if it is worth your time. You can win real money, but there are no free games anymore, so you pay to play. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Not worth it: you pay to play

Wealth Words pays winners through PayPal, but every game now has an entry fee. It works like betting, and you are more likely to lose money than to earn.

Good for you ifYou are very good at word puzzles and accept that you can lose the entry fees you pay.
Skip it ifYou want a free way to earn. There are no free games anymore, so you have to spend money to play.

The short answer

Wealth Words pays real money, but you have to pay to play. There are no free games anymore: every game has an entry fee, so it has essentially become a betting site where you bet money to win money.

To cash out, you need at least $8 and must complete a KYC check with a government-issued ID, and then you get paid through PayPal. There is a higher chance of losing money than earning, so it is not a platform I consider worth it.

What I like
  • Pays through PayPal
  • Available more or less worldwide
  • A cleaner dashboard than when I first tested it
What I don’t like
  • No free games: you pay an entry fee to play
  • No guaranteed earnings, and you can lose money
  • A high $8 cashout
  • An ID check (KYC) before you can withdraw
  • The Android app is no longer available

My experience with Wealth Words

I signed up for Wealth Words, went through the games, the cashout rules, the app and the support options, and checked again later to see what had changed. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Wealth Words legit and safe?

Wealth Words is not a scam: you can really win money there. But it is a very risky way to try to earn. These are the catches.

  • You pay to play

There are no free games anymore. You pay an entry fee for every game, so it has essentially become a betting site, where you bet money to win money.

  • No guaranteed earnings

You only profit when you win, and that is not easy. In my opinion, there is a higher chance of losing money than earning.

  • An ID check before you withdraw

You must complete KYC with a photo of a government-issued ID, such as a passport or driver’s license, before you can withdraw.

  • $8 before you can cash out

The threshold is quite high, so it might take a while before you can withdraw, unless you are really good at word puzzles.

My takeEven if you are very confident in your word puzzle skills, Wealth Words is not a platform I consider worth it. There are many better and easier ways to earn online, where you do not have to spend money to earn.

How you earn on Wealth Words

There is one way to earn: word puzzle games with an entry fee. Tap it to read more.

Word puzzle gamesPrizes, entry fee required
Wealth Words app

You log in to the website or the app and play word puzzle games. Each game has a time limit, and the winner is announced when the time is up.

Wealth Words used to have free games and paid games, but when I updated this review, there were no free games anymore. Paid games used to need a token. Now you just pay the entry fee, and your winnings can be used to pay it.

The paid games have large prizes, but to profit from them, you have to win, and that is not easy. If you love word puzzles, you will enjoy the games, but you will have to spend money to keep playing.

How much can you make?

It depends on how good you are at word puzzles. If you are very good, you might win a decent amount. But since there is no free way to earn anymore, every game is a bet: you pay to enter, and you only get money back when you win.

Personally, I do not like the risk. There is a higher chance of losing money than earning.

How Wealth Words pays

When you win a game, the prize goes to your Wealth Words winnings balance.

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$8A verified PayPal account, and KYC with your ID first

PayPal is a convenient payment method, and the payout system is relatively simple. The problem is the threshold: it might take a while to reach it. For sites that let you withdraw quickly, see the fastest paying sites.
