Is WAM Legit or a Scam? (Full Details + Rating)

WAM Rating

WAM is not worth your time. The fact that it doesn’t offer a guaranteed way to earn is its biggest flaw. You will have to spend hours and hours practicing the games it features just to have a chance at earning a few WAM tokens.

I tested the WAM app to see if you can really earn by playing its games. You can win WAM tokens in tournaments, but only if you rank high, and there is no guaranteed way to earn. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick first.

Personally Tested Last tested

Legit, but there is no guaranteed way to earn

You only earn WAM tokens if you rank high in a tournament, and one token is worth very little.

Good for you ifYou like arcade games, already know crypto wallets, and do not mind playing without a sure reward.
Skip it ifYou want a guaranteed way to earn, or you want to be paid in cash.

The short answer

WAM is a legit app. You can really win digital currency, in the form of WAM tokens, by playing its arcade games in tournaments. But it does not offer a guaranteed way to earn. You only win if you rank among the top scorers, and that was quite hard when I tested it.

One WAM token is worth very little, so you have to win thousands to earn a decent amount. You will have to spend hours practicing the games just to have a chance. In my opinion, WAM is not worth your time. The top sites in your country are a better place to start.

What I like
  • No payout threshold
  • Available more or less worldwide
  • User-friendly app that is not very spammy
  • Free to play, with three free lives per game
What I don’t like
  • Doesn’t offer guaranteed earnings
  • Only offers its own cryptocurrency as reward
  • Doesn’t have a Help or FAQ page
  • A transaction fee on every withdrawal
  • Mobile only

My experience with WAM

I installed WAM, practiced the games and joined its tournaments. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is WAM legit and safe?

Yes, WAM is legit, because you can really win WAM tokens. But legit does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know before you install it.

  • No guaranteed way to earn

You only win WAM tokens if you rank among the top players when a tournament ends. You have to be very good at these games to win the higher prizes.

  • Buying tokens costs your own money

When your free lives run out, you can buy more lives with WAM tokens. If you just started, that means buying tokens with real money. There is no guarantee you will win it back, so I do not recommend it.

  • The token is worth very little

One WAM token is worth very little, so you have to win thousands to earn a decent amount. You also need a crypto wallet to withdraw, and every withdrawal has a transaction fee.

  • Little information and support

There is no Help or FAQ page in the app or on the website. To ask a question, you have to join WAM’s Discord channel.

My takeIn my opinion, WAM is not worth your time. The fact that it doesn’t offer a guaranteed way to earn is its biggest flaw. You will have to spend hours and hours practicing the games just to have a chance at earning a few WAM tokens. The games are also not that interesting, so you are better off investing your time in guaranteed ways to earn.

How you earn on WAM

There is only one way to earn: play-to-earn tournaments.

Play-to-earn tournamentsOnly if you rank high
WAM play-to-earn tournaments

When you log in, you see all the tournaments being held. Each one shows its duration and features a different arcade-style game. The goal is to get the highest possible score. If you are among the ranked players when the tournament ends, you win WAM tokens. There is no limit to how many tournaments you can join.

Practice first in the “Discover” section, where you can play the games used in the tournaments. It helps you avoid wasting tries. You normally get three free lives per game. After that, you can watch an ad or buy lives with WAM tokens. When I tested it, the “watch an ad” option did not work.

My tip: pick a tournament that is about to end. See also the best ways to earn money by playing games online.

How much can you make?

There is no guarantee you will earn anything. You need a high ranking in a tournament to win a decent amount of WAM tokens, and that takes a lot of practice. This makes WAM’s time-to-money ratio very poor.

One WAM token is worth very little, and it is very hard to earn rewards regularly. That is why I would say WAM’s earning potential is very low.

How you withdraw

MethodMinimumFee
WAM tokens to a crypto wallet (Binance Smart Chain or MultiversX)NoneA transaction fee on every withdrawal, shown when you withdraw

Your winnings are credited to your WAM balance as WAM tokens. You can withdraw them any time. If you are new to crypto, you first need a third-party wallet on one of these chains. I recommend Binance, since it is user-friendly. Withdraw when you have a larger amount, so the fee does not eat most of it.

  1. A crpypto that devalues 99% per year can only be a scam. That wannabe entrepreneur Tams Daniel does nothing but puff himself up on television and press articles (all paid for) while he himself is a criminal who has cheated a lot of people
