ThinkOpinion has shut down
ThinkOpinion has shut down. Its website is no longer accessible. From what I can see, the owner has stopped paying for the hosting of the site. You cannot join or earn on it now. I keep my review below as a record. The sites I would pick instead are further down.
ThinkOpinion was a GPT site that paid you for surveys, offers and more. It has now shut down. I was a member for quite a while and was paid by it. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.
ThinkOpinion has shut down
ThinkOpinion has shut down, so you can no longer earn on it. When it was running, it was legit and paid me, but rewards were often lower than on other sites.

The short answer
ThinkOpinion has shut down. Its website is no longer accessible, so you can no longer join or earn there.
When it was running, it was legit and paid me, with PayPal, Skrill and Amazon gift cards from $5. But rewards were often lower than on other sites, and the site filled up with pop-up ads. It was a decent option with some patience, not one of the best GPT sites.
- Many surveys, tasks and offers
- Paid in cash, from $5
- Decent support
- ThinkOpinion has shut down
- It took patience to find surveys you qualified for
- The website was a bit confusing at first
- Rewards were often lower than on many other sites
- Many pop-up ads
My experience with ThinkOpinion
I was a ThinkOpinion member for quite a while. I used the surveys and offer walls, cashed out, and contacted support several times. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Was ThinkOpinion legit and safe?
ThinkOpinion has shut down, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit: I was paid by it myself. These were the catches.
- It has shut down
The website is no longer accessible. From what I can see, the owner stopped paying for the hosting of the site.
- Rewards were often lower
Some surveys paid more than on other GPT sites, but others paid less than joining the survey site directly. In my experience, the earning potential was not as good as on many other sites.
- Many pop-up ads
There were no pop-up ads at launch, but later there were a lot of them. You often had to spend extra time closing ads.
- Patience to qualify
You did not qualify for every survey or offer, and it could take a while to find the ones you did. Always read an offer’s conditions first.
My takeThinkOpinion has shut down, so it is no longer an option. When it was running, it could give you some extra cash with patience, but it was not one of the best GPT sites. See the alternatives below.
How you earned on ThinkOpinion
There were 5 ways to earn. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysSet per survey
ThinkOpinion worked with several survey providers. Click one, and you saw the available surveys and the reward for each. There were daily surveys you could take every day, and a general survey section.
You did not qualify for every survey. How many you got depended on your country and your profile. Rewards were mixed: some higher than on other GPT sites, some lower than when you joined the survey site directly. If you chose wisely, you could make some nice extra cash.
Offer wallsSet per offer
From the dashboard, you reached many offer walls from partners such as Enligne Surveys, Revenue Wall, WannAds and OpinionCapital. They had more surveys and paid offers, like signing up for websites, playing games and downloading apps.
ThinkOpinion added several offer walls over time, including a few I had not seen on other GPT sites. Some offers were great, others had poor conditions, so it paid to read them first.
Monthly offer contestBonus of 1% to 30%
Daily surveys and offers worth 25 points or more counted toward a monthly contest. The 50 members with the most earnings each month won a bonus: 30% of their earnings for first place, down to 1% for 50th place.
Most contests like this on other sites only reward the top 10 or 20, so I liked that 50 people got something.
Referral program15% and 5%
You earned 15% of what your level 1 referrals earned, and 5% from your level 2 referrals. The bonus came from ThinkOpinion, so your referrals did not earn less.
Promo codesA few free points
ThinkOpinion shared promo codes for free points, first on its social media and later only on its YouTube channel. The number of uses per code was limited, so you had to be quick.
It was inconsistent: when I last updated the review, it had been several months since the last code.

How much could you make?
It depended on your time, your effort and your country, because the number of opportunities depended a lot on where you lived. The top earners on the contest list showed what was possible, but that was not the average.
I was a member for quite a while, and in my experience the earning potential was not as good as on many other sites. The many pop-up ads also cost time. With patience, you could earn some extra cash on the side.
How ThinkOpinion paid
You earned points, and 1 point was worth $0.01. You could cash out from $5.
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | $5 | My preferred option |
| Skrill | $5 | Available everywhere |
| Amazon gift cards | $5 | Available everywhere |
| Myntra, Flipkart, bank transfer | $5 | India only. Bank transfer after an ID check. |
You usually got your money within 48 hours, and at most 3 business days. Your first withdrawal could take up to 5 business days. I was paid faster than this myself.
