SilverClix Review – Is It Legit? (Yes, BUT….)

SilverClix Rating

SilverClix is a PTC with plenty of earning opportunities, but it certainly also has its limitations. The main problem the earning potential is really quite low. You have to invest a lot of time just to earn even a small amount.

SilverClix is a Paid-To-Click (PTC) site that pays you to click ads and do small online tasks. I tested it and made a video walkthrough. It is legit, but the earning potential is really quite low. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Last tested

Legit, but you invest a lot of time to earn very little

Plenty of ways to earn, but most activities pay $0.001 or less, and the user experience is very poor.

Good for you ifYou use Payeer, FaucetPay, GCash or crypto, and only want a very low cashout.
Skip it ifYou want to earn a decent amount, want PayPal, or do not want to risk money on upgrades.

The short answer

SilverClix is a legit PTC site. It has been around since 2013 and has plenty of ways to earn.

But the earning potential is really quite low. Most activities pay $0.001 or less, so you have to invest a lot of time to earn even a small amount. If you pay for upgrades or referrals, you can end up losing money. Your time is better spent on other sites.

What I like
  • Plenty of earning opportunities
  • Several payment methods
  • A very low payout threshold
  • Support tickets and a forum
What I don’t like
  • Low earning potential
  • Payment via PayPal is not available
  • You have to pay to get real chances of earning
  • You can end up losing money
  • Very poor user experience

My experience with SilverClix

I signed up for SilverClix, tried the ways to earn and recorded a walkthrough video. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

My SilverClix test on video

I made a video walkthrough and tutorial of SilverClix. The design of the website has been updated a bit since I recorded the video. However, the main ways to earn are still the same.

Is SilverClix legit and safe?

Yes, SilverClix is legit. It has been around since 2013. But legit does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Very low rewards

Most activities pay $0.001 or less. If an ad pays $0.001 and takes 10 seconds, you need almost 3 hours of clicking to earn $1.

  • Upgrades, referrals and Flip the Coin can cost you

The paid membership costs $20, and you can buy or rent referrals. There is no guarantee rented referrals will be active enough to earn your money back. Flip the Coin uses your earnings as a bet, and it can be very addictive.

  • Very poor user experience

A lot of content is covered by ads, and the site is hard to navigate. On a phone, you have to scroll left and right.

  • One member per household

SilverClix only accepts one member per IP address. There is no age requirement, but you must meet the age requirement of the payment method you use.

My takeEven though SilverClix has plenty of earning opportunities, the earning potential is really quite low. You have to invest a significant amount of time to earn even a small amount. The time you spend doing so is better spent on other websites that will allow you to earn more, in my opinion.

SilverClix pays very little for your time. The top sites in your country have much higher earning potential.

How you earn on SilverClix

There are 8 ways to earn. Clicking ads is the main one, but every option pays little. Tap one to read more.

Clicking PTC ads$0.001 or less
Viewing ads on SilverClix

Open the menu and click PTC Ads. Click an ad, stay on the website it opens for a set number of seconds, and you get the reward.

There are 5 types of ads, each with a different reward range. Bonus ads paid the most when I tested: $0.001 per ad.

QuizzesDepends on your country
Quizzes on SilverClix

Click Earn Money and then Quizzes. How many quizzes you get depends on your country. The United States has more than most.

Paid surveysLower than on survey sites
Paid surveys on SilverClix

SilverClix does not have its own surveys. It sends you to other survey sites, where you sign up first. The reward is usually lower than what you get on the survey site itself.

Offer wallsHigher on the high-paying tab
Offer walls on SilverClix

Offers ask you to complete a survey, sign up for a website or answer a quiz. Follow the instructions to the letter to get the reward.

There is a normal offer wall under Earn Money, and a separate tab with high-paying offers. Start with the high-paying ones.

SilverGridLuck only
The SilverGrid game

Click a grid and watch the ad, which usually takes up to 10 seconds. The grid then shows if you won the $2 prize. You get 25 chances. It takes little effort, but it is not an effective way to earn.

Flip the CoinA gamble
Flip the Coin on SilverClix

Pick heads or tails and bet an amount from your earnings. Guess right and you win the amount you bet. Guess wrong and you lose it. Exercise restraint with this.

Paid To Sign UpRarely worth it
Paid To Sign Up offers on SilverClix

You sign up for a website and submit proof to SilverClix, which checks it with the advertiser. You first have to click 150 ads before you see any of these offers. Read the conditions before you start.

Referral programA percentage of their income
SilverClix referral program

You can invite direct referrals with your link or banner, or buy or rent referrals. You earn a percentage of their income, which SilverClix pays, not your referral.

I am not a fan of buying or renting referrals. They need to be VERY active for you to even make your money back.

How much can you make?

PTC sites generally do not let you earn a lot. If you earn $0.001 per ad and each ad takes 10 seconds, you need almost 3 hours of clicking to reach $1.

A paid membership can speed up your earnings. SilverClix used to have many levels, the most expensive at $800. Now there are 2 levels, and the paid one costs $20. You can pay for it with your earnings, but it is still not something I would spend money on.

Overall, the earning potential of SilverClix is quite low compared to the top PTC sites today. Read the difference between PTC, GPT and survey sites to see why.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimum
Perfect MoneyAround $0.50 the first time
PayeerAround $0.50 the first time
AirTMAround $0.50 the first time
Litecoin, Dogecoin and CryptocoinsAround $0.50 the first time
FaucetPayAround $0.50 the first time
GCashAround $0.50 the first time

You choose your payout method when you register. The exact threshold can vary from country to country. SilverClix has lowered it since I first tested it, which is the only really positive thing about it, in my opinion. It still takes time to reach.

PayPal is not an option. For sites that pay through PayPal, see the top survey sites that pay via PayPal.
