SerpClix pays you to search Google and click a highlighted website. I tested it to see if it is worth your time. It is legit, but the rewards are very low, it needs a computer, and there is no way to reach support. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but very low pay and no support
A paid-to-click site that pays around $0.05 per order to PayPal. In my opinion, what it does goes against Google’s terms.

The short answer
SerpClix is legit, because you can really earn from it. It is a paid-to-click (PTC) site: you search for a keyword on Google, click the website that is highlighted in red, and stay on it until a timer runs out.
But the rewards are very low, around $0.05 per order, so it takes a lot of time to earn a decent amount. In my opinion, what it does goes against Google’s terms, and there is no contact information if you need support.
- Available more or less worldwide
- Offers a simple way to earn
- Some of the best rates I have seen on PTC sites
- Automatic PayPal payouts from $5
- Offers very low rewards
- No contact information or contact form for support
- Works only through a browser extension, on a computer
- In my opinion, it goes against Google’s terms
- Referral commission only for the first three months
My experience with SerpClix
I signed up, installed the browser extension and worked on clicking orders. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is SerpClix legit and safe?
Yes, SerpClix is legit, because you can really earn from it. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know before you sign up.
- It goes against Google’s terms, in my opinion
SerpClix pays you to search for a keyword and click a specific website. In my opinion, that goes against Google’s terms. It is also unethical, because it hurts the credibility of search results in the long run. Personally, I do not go for opportunities like this.
- Very low rewards
An order usually pays around $0.05, sometimes less. That is normal for PTC sites, but it means it takes a lot of time to reach the $5 threshold, and even longer to earn a decent amount.
- No way to contact support
The FAQ covers some basic topics. Beyond that, the website gives no email address and no contact form. If you run into a problem, you have no easy way to solve it.
- Some orders do not work
The website you have to visit is not always on the first page of the results. If you reach page 10 and still have not found it, the site is no longer available or the order has expired. Then you move on to the next order.
- Only on a computer, with specific browsers
The extension works on Microsoft Edge, LibreWolf, Waterfox and Vivaldi. It used to work on Firefox, but SerpClix does not recommend it because of the many issues. You cannot earn on a phone.
My takeIn my opinion, SerpClix is not a great site to earn extra cash. You have to invest a lot of time just to earn a decent amount from it, and it does not help that what it does goes against Google’s terms. On top of that, there is no contact information for support if you run into issues. You are better off on sites with higher earning potential.
SerpClix pays very little for your time. The top sites in your country pay a lot more.

There are 2 ways to earn. Clicking orders is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Clicking ordersAround $0.05 each
You must install the SerpClix browser extension and log in to it. The extension icon shows the number of available orders. Click the icon, choose an order, and a new tab opens Google. The keyword is copied to your clipboard.
Paste the keyword, search, and look for the result highlighted in red. Click it and stay on the website until the countdown timer in the extension is finished. Then the reward is credited to your SerpClix balance.
The website is not always on the first page of the results. If you reach page 10 and still have not found it, the order is a glitch or has expired, so move on to the next one.
An order usually pays around $0.05, sometimes less. From what I have observed, that is one of the best rates for PTC sites. But in my opinion, it goes against Google’s terms.
Referral program10% for 3 months
Share your referral link. When someone signs up through it, you get a 10% commission every time they earn, but only for the first three months.
That is not very profitable, in my opinion. Most of the great reward sites I have used pay referral rewards for life.
How much can you make?
The amount you can earn from PTC sites is small. That is just the nature of these sites, and SerpClix is no different. Read more in my guide to PTC sites.
SerpClix pays relatively well for a PTC site, but it still takes quite some time to reach the $5 threshold, and even longer to earn a significant amount. That is why I consider its earning potential very low.
Payout method and minimum
| Method | Minimum | When you are paid |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | $5 | Automatically, in the first week of the next month |
Your earnings go to your SerpClix balance. If you earn at least $5 in a month, SerpClix sends it to your PayPal account in the first week of the following month. So, if you earn $5 in January, you are paid in the first week of February. If you do not reach the threshold, you wait for the next month.
The payout system is very simple. If you want more sites that pay this way, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Devices, joining and support
You can open the member dashboard on your phone, but only to check your earnings. The extension does not work on mobile browsers, so you need a laptop or desktop to earn.
The website does not say exactly which countries it is available in, but as far as I can tell, it is available more or less worldwide. To sign up, you fill out the registration form with your email address, a password and the email address of your PayPal account. After you log in, a tutorial shows how SerpClix works and how to install the extension. Make sure you have Microsoft Edge, LibreWolf, Waterfox or Vivaldi installed before you sign up.
The FAQ section covers some basic topics. But the website provides no contact information and no contact form, so the support is practically non-existent. I seldom see a website that does not give at least an email address.
Sites I recommend instead of SerpClix
| Site | Best for | Min. cashout | My rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| PrizeRebel | Surveys, tasks and offers, with a very low threshold | $5 PayPal; some gift cards from $2 | 4.8 / 5 |
| Swagbucks | Many daily ways to earn, one of the biggest GPT sites | About $5 PayPal; gift cards from 100 SB | 4.3 / 5 |
| Freecash | Offers and games, next to surveys | $5 | 4.2 / 5 |
| TimeBucks | Ways to earn in almost every country | $3 | 3.9 / 5 |
