I played Prize Blast to see if you can really win real prizes with its treasure hunt game. The game is fun, but you can only cash out after you finish it, which takes months of playing. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

A fun game, but not worth your time if you want to earn
Match-colors puzzle game with sweepstakes entries. You can only cash out after you finish the whole game.

The short answer
Prize Blast is a legit game: you get a chance to win prizes. But it does not offer guaranteed earnings. You get sweepstakes entries for the time you play, and you save money in a piggy bank.
But you can only cash out your piggy bank after you find the treasure map at the end of the game, and that takes months and months of playing. It is also not clear how you cash out, or when the sweepstakes draws end. If your goal is to earn, it is not worth your time.
- The game is fun and quite addicting to play
- Available more or less worldwide
- Android and iOS
- Takes a very long time to cash out
- Not transparent about how you can withdraw your winnings
- A lot of video ads while you play
- You do not know when the sweepstakes draws end
- In-app purchases that are not worth it
My experience with Prize Blast
I installed Prize Blast, played the game, built my ship and saved money in the piggy bank. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Prize Blast legit and safe?
Prize Blast is a legit game, because you have a chance to win prizes. But that does not make it a way to earn. Here is what you should know.
- Cashing out takes months
To cash out your piggy bank, you must find the treasure map, and the only way is to finish the game. Most players say they have played for a year and never reached Treasure Island, where the map is.
- No guaranteed earnings
The website says your skill does not influence your chance of winning. You get one sweepstakes entry every seven minutes, and you do not know when a draw ends. All you can do is keep playing and hope you win.
- In-app purchases
The app offers purchases that help you reach Treasure Island faster. I do not recommend them: it still takes months of playing to reach the end.
- A reader reported PayPal charges
In August 2024, a reader wrote that the app tried twice to take money from their PayPal account. I have not been able to check this myself. Check your payment settings before you play.
- Many video ads
After each level, you are offered a video ad of around 30 seconds to double your Pirate Bottles. It speeds up your progress, but it is the most annoying part of the game.
My takeIn my opinion, Prize Blast is not worth your time if your goal is to earn. But if you are just looking for a fun game to play, this can be a decent option. The game will require hundreds of hours to earn money, and you can’t rely on the sweepstakes draw to win prizes.
Prize Blast takes months before you can cash out. These sites pay you much sooner.

There is only one way to earn: playing the game. It gives you sweepstakes entries and money in your piggy bank.
Playing the gamePrizes, not guaranteed
You solve the puzzle of each level by clicking on boxes of the same color. It is sort of like Candy Crush with a twist. When you complete a level, you get Pirate Bottles, and the further you get, the more bottles you get per level. Along the way, you also store money in your piggy bank.
Early in the game, you build a ship to explore islands and find the treasure map. Every island has an objective you pay for with Pirate Bottles, so you keep beating levels to earn more. Bonus game modes give extra bottles.
You automatically receive one sweepstakes entry every seven minutes you spend in the game. To cash out the money in your piggy bank, you must find the treasure map, and the only way to do that is to finish the game.
The game is fun and very addicting. But the way to actually earn money from it is very exhausting. Check out the best ways to earn money by playing games online instead.
How much can you make?
Very little you can actually cash out. The piggy bank fills up quickly while you play, so it may seem like you are earning a lot of money.
But you might never be able to cash it out, because it takes a very long time to find the treasure map. Until then, the amount you have “earned” is useless. Most players will quit before they reach it. That is why I would say the earning potential of Prize Blast is very low.
How you get paid
You need to finish the game to cash out your piggy bank. I could not reach that point, because it takes a very long time and a lot of playing hours. The app is not clear on how you cash out.
For the sweepstakes, you fill out your profile with your address, so Prize Blast knows where to send a prize if you win. You do not know when a draw ends.
Overall, the payment system is not good, because it is not clear how you will be able to cash out. If you prefer apps or sites where you can easily withdraw your earnings, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
