I tested the JOYit app to see if playing its games is worth your time. It is legit, but the rewards are too low, and there is no cash in most countries. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.
Legit, but not worth your time
You earn points for playing arcade games inside the app. You need thousands of points for the smallest reward, and the app is Android only.

The short answer
JOYit is legit, because you can really earn rewards from it. You play arcade-style games inside the app, and you do not have to install them.
But JOYit is not an app worth using. The rewards are too low: it takes a lot of time to earn enough points for the smallest reward, and you get in-game currency, gift cards or mobile credit, not cash. There are better options if you want to earn by playing games.
- Offers a fun way to earn rewards
- Available more or less worldwide
- You play the games inside the app, without installing them
- Low rewards
- Doesn’t offer cash rewards
- Doesn’t have a Help or FAQ page
- Android only
- Pop-up video ads

JOYit is legit, because you can really earn rewards from it. But that doesn’t automatically make it worth it. Here is what you should know before you install it.
- The rewards are too low
You will not earn a lot from JOYit. It takes quite a lot of time to earn enough points to redeem the smallest reward available.
- No cash rewards
You redeem points for in-game currencies, gift cards or prepaid mobile credit. There is no PayPal.
- Contests can eat your time
Contests pay prizes to the top 20 scorers, and you can try as often as you want. If you are not good at the game, trying to rank can consume a lot of time.
- Android only, with pop-up ads
The app is only for Android. It is relatively easy to use, but you will see a few pop-up video ads, which can get quite annoying.
- No Help or FAQ page
If you have a question, you have to fill out the form in the Feedback section of the app.
My takeIn my opinion, JOYit is not an app worth using. It simply doesn’t offer anything special to warrant your time and effort. There are better options out there if you want to earn by playing games online.
How you earn on JOYit
There are 4 ways to earn. Playing the featured games is the main one. Tap one to read more.
Playing featured gamesMain earner
When you log in, you see all the games you can play. You do not have to install them, unlike on many other apps: all games open inside the app. They are arcade-style games, so they are easy to figure out.
Pick a game to see its challenge. Most of the time, you just play the game for a certain period of time, and then you receive points. There are a lot of featured games, so you will not run out of games to play. At least, that’s what I observed when I tested it.
ContestsTop 20 only
Go to the Contests section to see the ongoing contests. The top 20 scorers in the featured game win a prize. There is no limit to how many attempts you have, but it can consume a lot of time. Only try if you know you are good at the game.
TasksSmall bonuses
Tap the Coin icon at the top of the app to open the Mission Center. The most common task is the Daily Login reward. Other tasks involve playing games or watching video ads. The tasks refresh daily.
Referral programNot fixed
Share your invite link or code. When your referral plays a game and earns points, you get bonus points. You can invite a maximum of 150 people. The points are not fixed, which makes the program quite confusing. You see them in the Referral Program section of the Mission Center.

How much can you make?
Let me be blunt here. You will not earn a lot from JOYit, because the app doesn’t pay well. It takes quite a lot of time to earn enough points to redeem the smallest reward available.
The earning potential is simply too low. There are better apps and sites you can go for if you want to earn.
Rewards and minimums
Every way to earn pays in points. The number of points you need depends on the reward, but you have to earn thousands of points to redeem any reward.
| Reward | Notes |
|---|---|
| In-game currencies | For several games, like PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends |
| Gift cards | Depend on the country you live in |
| Prepaid mobile credit | Points needed depend on the reward |
Overall, the payment system is relatively straightforward, but I wish the app also offered cash rewards. A reader in the Philippines reports a cash withdrawal through GCash, with a minimum of 260,000 points. If you prefer cash, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

How much can you earn
There is a section in the review above called “How much money can you make?” that talks about this.
Actually there is a payment method for cash rewards but only available in gcash it’s commonly used in philippines if you are curious how to cash out for cash rewards just go to prize redemption then at the top left of your screen you can see your points, beside it there’s a yellow highlighted that reads “withdraw now” tap it and then you can withdraw your cash rewards sadly no paypal only gcash. It needs 260k points for minimum withdraw and withdrawal ratio of 1php = 1300 points
