I have tested Idle-Empire and been paid by it myself. Below is my payment proof, how you earn, which payout options are left, and why it is not as good as it used to be.
Legit GPT site, but not as good as it used to be

The short answer
Idle-Empire is legit. It pays you for the tasks you do, and I have been paid by it myself. It offers several ways to earn, it is available globally, and the threshold is very low.
But it does not have as flexible and as good payout options as it used to have. It no longer pays through PayPal, it removed crypto payouts to Coinbase, and in some countries only a few rewards are available. This makes it a lot less appealing, in my opinion.
- Offers several ways to earn
- Available globally
- Has a very low payout threshold
- The paid offers pay quite well compared to many other sites
- Support answers quickly
- No PayPal anymore, and few payout options in some countries
- A bit confusing point system and conversion rate
- Bonus for top earners only extends up to the 3rd best performer
- No mobile app

Is Idle-Empire legit and safe?
Yes, Idle-Empire is legit and safe. I have been paid by it myself. But it has lost a lot of what made it good. Here is what you should know before you start.
- No PayPal and fewer crypto options
Idle-Empire used to pay cash through PayPal, but that is no longer an option. It also removed payouts in many different cryptos to your Coinbase wallet. You can still get paid in crypto with a Binance gift card.
- Few rewards in some countries
In some countries, only a few gift cards are available. In my country, it now only has a couple of rewards I can actually use. Check the rewards for your country before you start earning.
- A confusing point system
The point system and conversion rate are a bit confusing. Videos pay in Hideout Points that convert to Idle-Empire points, and each reward has its own threshold.
- Never use a VPN or proxy
You are not allowed to use a VPN or proxy server on the site. Doing so can lead to the termination of your account.
My takeI have tested hundreds of GPT sites, and I would say Idle-Empire is a pretty good site. It has everything that a good GPT should have. But it does not have as flexible and as good payout options as it used to have, and this makes it a lot less appealing, in my opinion. So make sure to also join some of the absolute top GPT sites.
How you earn on Idle-Empire
There are 5 ways to earn. Paid offers are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid offersBest earner
Log in, click Earn, and choose “Offers” or “Offerwalls”. “Offerwalls” gives you the full list of offerwalls and paid offers, and there are a lot. “Offers” shows a selection Idle-Empire believes are some of the best.
Offers ask you to complete a quiz, answer a survey, play a game, register for another website, and similar tasks. Follow the instructions of the offer to get the reward. The offers pay quite well. In fact, Idle-Empire is among the highest-paying sites for offers like this out of the hundreds of sites I have tested.
Paid surveysQuite decent
Go to the Surveys section to see all available surveys. Each survey shows how long it takes and how many points you earn, so you can choose which ones to take. Most surveys come from other sites, so a survey can open on a different site.
You first answer screener questions. If you qualify, you answer the survey and get the reward. It can take patience to find surveys you qualify for. The rewards were quite low when I first tested it, but they now pay quite decently compared to many other GPT sites. Many offerwalls also have extra surveys.
Watching videosVery low
The videos come from Hideout.TV. You earn 9 Hideout Points for every 3 advertisements you watch, which is 50 Idle-Empire points. It is not a lot. Only do this if you have nothing else to do on the site, or let it run in the background.
Referral program20% of referrals
You earn 20% of all points your referrals earn through surveys and offers, plus 50 points for every new referral. Your referral gets 500 points for signing up through your link. You only earn if the people you invite use it actively.
Top earners bonusTop 3 only
Idle-Empire rewards its top earners with a bonus of $10-$30. Only the top 3 get it. On sites like PrizeRebel, this type of bonus usually extends to the top 10.

How much can you make?
From what I noticed while testing it, there are plenty of earning opportunities, so you can earn rewards steadily. How much depends entirely on how much time you spend on the site. The rewards are quite decent compared to similar sites.
If you want to earn a significant amount, aiming to become a top earner is the best way to do it. If you finish in the top 3, you get a bonus of $10-$30.
Overall, Idle-Empire has decent earning potential. But how much you can earn varies from country to country.
Payout methods and minimums
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Binance gift card | 5,000 points ($0.50) | The way to get paid in crypto now |
| Gift cards | Higher, depends on the card | Very limited in some countries |
| In-game items and currencies | Depends on the reward | Idle-Empire started with game skins |
| PayPal | Not available | No longer offered |
Every activity earns you points, which you exchange for rewards. The threshold depends on the reward you choose, but overall you can very quickly earn enough to get paid.
Idle-Empire removed a lot of the great options it used to have, like PayPal and crypto payouts to Coinbase. If you prefer PayPal, this is not the right option for you. See the best sites that pay via PayPal instead.
Is Idle-Empire worth it in your country?
Idle-Empire is available globally, but the rewards you can use differ a lot per country. Pick your country to see where Idle-Empire stands on my list of the best sites there.
