I tested GoldenClix, a Paid-to-Click (PTC) site that pays you to click ads and do small online tasks. It is legit, but the rewards are tiny, and to really earn you have to pay for upgrades. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

GoldenClix is a legit PTC site. It does what it promises to do. It has plenty of ways to earn, several payment options, and anyone can join.
But the rewards are tiny: the highest you can earn from one ad is $0.001. The earning potential stays low unless you upgrade your membership, and there is no guarantee you get that money back. Pop-up ads and redirects make the site hard to use. It is not worth your time, in my opinion.

My experience with GoldenClix
I registered, clicked ads and went through the other earning options, the payout rules and the membership levels. I also made a video tutorial of the site. This is what I tested, and what I did not test.

Is GoldenClix legit and safe?
GoldenClix is a legit PTC site. It does what it promises to do. But legit does not mean worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- You can lose money on upgrades and referrals
You can pay to upgrade your membership, rent referrals (5 for $1) or buy referrals ($2 each). There is no guarantee you get that money back, because it all depends on whether the referrals stay active. If you do not know what you are doing, you can easily end up losing money.
- Cashout points for free members
As a free member, you can only withdraw after you earn 1,000 cashout points. You only get them from offerwalls.
- Pop-up ads and redirects
Ads pop up all over the place, which makes the site very hard to use. Sometimes you get redirected to a different website without warning, which seems quite spammy.
- Readers report suspended accounts and a pending withdrawal
In 2020 and 2021, a reader wrote twice that GoldenClix suspended their account without a clear reason. Another reader wrote in 2020 that a $0.10 withdrawal was still pending. These reports are years old.
- Log in every 30 days
If you are inactive, your account can be suspended, and you lose your balance, memberships, points, referrals and advertising credits. Accounts are deleted after 180 days of inactivity.
My takeI am not a fan of the “spend more to earn more” mechanic. You are there to earn money, not to spend your own. To earn a significant amount, you have to invest a lot of time, which is better spent on sites that let you earn more with less time.
GoldenClix pays $0.001 per ad at most. The top sites in your country pay far more for your time, and you never have to pay to upgrade.

Clicking ads$0.001 at most
Log in and go to View Advertisements. There are 6 types of ads: fixed, bonus, standard, micro, tiny and mini. Bonus and fixed ads pay the most.
Click an ad and view it. You normally wait around 10 seconds before you can close the window and get the reward. The highest you can earn from one ad is $0.001, but there are plenty of ads.
You have to view at least 4 ads a day to earn from your referrals’ clicks the next day.
OfferwallsVaries by offer
Most offers ask you to take a survey, answer a quiz or sign up for a website. Follow the instructions to get the reward.
For free members, offerwalls are the only way to earn the 1,000 cashout points you need before you can withdraw.
Paid surveysLow
The surveys come from other survey sites. You answer qualifying questions first. They pay a lot less than regular survey sites, but more than clicking ads. Some survey offers can be completed more than once.
Quiz TimeFew offers
Answer a quiz, and if you meet the score requirement, you get the reward. Which quizzes you see depends on your country, and invites do not come often.
Paid To PromoteNot worth it
You share a link and earn a small amount for every visit, up to the 10th visit from the same person. There are strict rules: no auto surfs, no iframes, cloaked links, fake referrers, VPNs or proxies. Break them, and you are suspended.
When I wrote the review, the top earner had sent 5,080 visits and got paid $1.016. That is an extremely low pay per visit.
Paid To Sign UpVaries by offer
Like the offerwalls, but only sign-ups for websites, sometimes with a few extra tasks. Some take a lot of time for a small reward. Pick the ones that are quick to finish.
Golden Grid0.25 credits per click
Each grid square opens a sponsor’s site for up to 6 seconds, and you earn 0.25 credits that you can use to advertise. Every 25 squares wins a prize. You have 250 tries on a grid of 560 squares.
Bonus gameLuck only
Click Play, wait a few seconds, and see what you won, up to $5 if you are lucky. You can play again after 1 minute. You have to turn off your ad blocker or pop-up blocker.
Flip the CoinGambling
You bet part of your earnings to double them. If you lose, the bet is gone. It can be addictive, and you can lose everything you earned. Do not get carried away.
Referral programRisky
You earn a percentage of your referrals’ clicks. The higher your membership level, the higher the percentage. You can have unlimited direct referrals.
You can also rent referrals (5 for $1) or buy them ($2 each). Bought referrals are members who joined without being referred. There is no guarantee they stay active, so you may not get your money back.

How much can you make?
It depends on how active you are and on your membership level. There are 8 levels. The main thing that affects your earnings is the commission you get from referrals, and that goes up with your level.
On a free account, the earning potential is not good. It scales better if you upgrade. You can pay for an upgrade with your earnings, so you do not have to spend your own money. If you do it, start small and do not invest anything other than your earnings.
Overall, you have to invest a lot of time to earn a significant amount. That time is better spent on sites that pay more for less work.

Goldenclix suspended my account saying I have an autoclicker but that is not true is false.

GoldenClix gives very bad value for your time, in my experience. So I would in general advice to use other sites instead.
