GamerSaloon Rating

GamerSaloon is not for everyone. If you are just a casual gamer, then I recommend you stay away from it because you will most likely just end up losing money.

GamerSaloon lets you bet money on console game matches against other members. I tested the site to see if it is a good way to earn. It is legit, but you have to deposit money first, and casual gamers will most likely lose. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Is GamerSaloon legit and safe?

Yes, GamerSaloon is legit, since you can really win money from it. But that does not mean it is a good fit for you. Here is what you should know.

  • You can lose money

There is no guarantee you win a challenge. You bet your own money, and the winner takes it all. Only issue or accept a challenge if you are willing to take that risk.

  • You have to deposit first

You must deposit at least $25 into your GamerSaloon account before you can play for money. If you are not prepared to do that, this site is not for you.

  • Pro gamers look for easy wins

This kind of site can be a hunting ground for pro gamers looking to earn a quick buck. Be careful who you challenge, especially when the bet is high.

  • Withdrawal fees add up

Every PayPal withdrawal costs $3, and a check costs $24.95. Withdraw only when you have a significant amount.

My takeIn my opinion, GamerSaloon is not for everyone. If you are just a casual gamer, then I recommend you stay away from it, because you will most likely just end up losing money. But if your gaming skills are near pro level, then you can potentially earn a good amount from this site. You just have to be prepared to invest some money into it before you can start playing.

How you earn on GamerSaloon

There are 3 ways to earn. Only the special offers are guaranteed, and they pay little. Tap one to read more.

Console game challengesWin or lose your bet
Accepting or issuing a challenge on GamerSaloon

When you sign up, you choose your consoles and the games you play. Then you issue a challenge or accept one. You play a match against another member, and the winner takes the prize.

If you issue a challenge, you set the game, the rules and the bet, and wait for someone to accept. Then you both agree on a date and time, log in to the chosen console, and play the match. Accepting a challenge works more or less the same way.

The minimum bet is $5, but most challenges in the dashboard have a minimum bet of $10. You must deposit at least $25 first.

Special offersSmall, guaranteed
GamerSaloon special offers

Offers are tasks like signing up for websites and filling out your profile. You do not have to spend money, but the rewards are small. Miss one requirement, and you do not get paid.

When I tested the site, there were not a lot of offers, so you cannot earn from them regularly.

Referral program$25 per depositing friend
GamerSaloon referral program

Share your invite link. You earn $25 when someone signs up through it and makes a first deposit. It is a sizeable reward, but only invite people who are really interested in the site.

How much can you make?

It mostly depends on how good you are at your chosen game. If your skills are at a professional level, you have a higher chance of winning challenges, and you can potentially earn good money.

If you only play casually, this is not the right fit for you, in my opinion, because you will most likely just end up losing money.

Payout methods and fees

MethodMinimumFeeWhere
PayPalNone$3 per withdrawalAll members
Check by postal mailNone$24.95US and Canada only. Takes longer.

Your earnings and winnings go to your account balance, and you can withdraw them anytime. Because of the fees, withdraw only when you have a significant amount. I like that it offers PayPal. For more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

App, joining and support

GamerSaloon has an app for Android and iOS, so you can accept challenges when you are not at your computer. On Android, you have to install it manually, as it is not in the app store. It has all the features of the website, and no annoying pop-up ads.

GamerSaloon is available worldwide. Fill out the registration form, choose your consoles and games, and click the link in the confirmation email.
