Freeward Review 2026: Is It Legit? Pros, Cons and My Verdict

Freeward Rating

Freeward is not a bad GPT site. However, it isn’t that good either, and the main reason why I say this is because of the low rewards it offers. It will take you quite a bit of time to earn a decent amount from it.

I registered on Freeward to see what it offers and compared it to the hundreds of other earning sites I have tested. It is legit and works worldwide, but the rewards are low. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Last tested

Legit GPT site, but the rewards are low

Offerwalls, surveywalls and a $2 PayPal cashout, open worldwide. It takes a lot of time to earn a decent amount.

Good for you ifYou want a secondary GPT site with a low PayPal cashout, wherever you live, and you are patient.
Skip it ifYou want a primary site where your time earns a decent amount.

The short answer

Freeward is legit. It is a GPT (Get-Paid-To) site with offerwalls, surveywalls, videos, raffles and a referral program, and you really get paid for the offers you complete.

But the rewards are low, so it takes quite a bit of time to earn a decent amount. It is not a bad GPT site, and it can be a decent secondary site if you temper your expectations. For a primary site, I recommend other GPT sites.

What I like
  • PayPal from $2, plus gift cards and crypto
  • Available worldwide
  • Many offerwalls and surveywalls
  • Mobile-friendly site without pop-up ads
What I don’t like
  • Low rewards for most offers
  • Surveys are not always available
  • Some offerwalls and surveywalls are locked at first
  • No mobile app

My experience with Freeward

I registered on Freeward and went through its offerwalls, surveywalls, raffles, videos, referral program and payout options. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Freeward legit and safe?

Yes, Freeward is legit, because you really get paid when you complete its offers. But being legit does not automatically make it a good opportunity. Here is what you should know.

  • Low rewards

Most offers pay around 20 to 50 coins, and 1,000 coins is $1. Offers that pay thousands of coins usually take 1 to 2 days to complete. It takes quite a bit of time to earn a decent amount.

  • A reader reported a lost balance in 2023

In April 2023, a reader wrote that his balance disappeared as a Bitcoin redemption he did not make, and that support could not help. In January 2024, someone from the Freeward team replied that one of their admins had tried to cheat, and that all missed payouts were sent back. I cannot check this myself. Cash out often, as soon as you reach the minimum.

  • The raffles cost coins

Each entry costs 100 coins for the daily raffle and 500 coins for the weekly one, and there is only one winner for the daily raffle. There is no guarantee you win anything. You will more likely end up burning your coins.

  • Many browser tabs

Offers and videos open a lot of browser tabs. That is annoying on a phone, so I recommend a laptop or desktop for most offers.

My takeIn my opinion, Freeward is not a bad GPT site. However, it is not that good either, because of the low rewards. If it offered higher rewards, it would score higher. It can still serve as a decent secondary site. Just temper your expectations a bit, and be very patient.

Freeward pays low rewards. These GPT sites pay more for your time.

How you earn on Freeward

There are 5 ways to earn. Surveywalls pay the most per task. Tap one to read more.

Surveywalls100–200 coins each
Paid surveys on Freeward

You pick a surveywall, choose a survey and go through the qualifying process. If you do not qualify, you move on to the next survey.

When I tested it, there were 10 surveywalls, and 2 were locked until you had been a member for a certain number of days. Some surveywalls had around 4 to 5 surveys, and some had none, so they are not as reliable as the offerwalls.

Surveys pay more than offerwall offers, so I suggest you do them first. Coins can take a day or two to arrive while the surveywall reviews your answers.

Offerwalls20–50 coins for most
Offerwalls on Freeward

Offerwalls pay you for simple tasks: answering a survey or quiz, registering for a website or app, playing a mobile game, or watching videos.

When I tested it, there were 14 offerwalls. Some are locked until you have earned a certain amount. Read the steps of each offer before you start. If you miss one, you do not earn anything.

Most offers pay around 20 to 50 coins. Some pay thousands of coins, but they usually take 1 to 2 days to complete.

Referral program5% up to 20%
Referral program of Freeward

You earn a commission when a person you invited completes an offer or a survey. It is 5% at tier 1 and 20% at the highest tier (tier 8). Your tier goes up as you earn more from your referrals.

Watching videosSmall

You earn small rewards by watching videos from PixelPoint. You earn from the ads in the video, not the video itself. If you switch tabs or open another video, the video stops. Most videos last a minute or two, and some have no ads and pay nothing. I only recommend this if you have nothing else to do on the site. See my PixelPointTV review.

Daily and weekly raffleLuck only
Freeward daily raffle

Click the treasure chest icon in the member dashboard to see the raffle. Each entry costs 100 coins for the daily raffle and 500 coins for the weekly one. The daily raffle has only one winner. I do not like this kind of opportunity, because there is no guarantee you earn anything.

How much can you make?

It depends on how much time you spend on it, and it does not pay a lot. Most offers pay around 20 to 50 coins, which is a few cents. Surveys pay around 100 to 200 coins, but you will not always qualify.

Next to coins, you earn XP points for every offer and survey. They count toward your achievement level, and every time you reach a new level, you get bonus coins. It is a nice bonus for members who are really active.

Overall, Freeward’s earning potential is not that great. Many other GPT sites pay more. It can be a decent secondary site. Just do not expect to earn a lot from it.

Payout methods and minimum

Every 1,000 coins is worth $1. The reward system is easy to understand, and I like that it offers PayPal. See the top sites that pay via PayPal.

I’m sorry for your bad experience and am aware of that issue. I know you are happy now because we’ve already sent back all missed payouts to our users.
That happened because one of our admins tried to cheat on Freeward.
And it’s awful that this was the only memory you had with Freeward, we’ve paid out over $550k to our users since 2021. Hopefully, you will forgive us and get back to FW.

  2. Freeward is a complete SCAM!
I made a couple of dollars for the first few weeks after MANY hours doing totally pointless surveys. Then all of a sudden I made a decent amount (about $50 worth) and then one day it disappeared. Somebody withdrew all of my hard earned funds as a Bitcoin redemption. This is fraudulent! Absolute theft! I made several attempts to let Freeward support know and after playing ’email ping-pong’ they turn around and say there is nothing they can do. There is no regulations and governing body for GPT sites and of course the police won’t get involved so I am stuck.
    What?!
My theory is that Freeward actually stole my money from me.
I am now in the process of telling everyone I know and every chat site know.
My advise is to stay clear of Freeward because they WILL rip you off. Their rewards are pitiful anyway.
