FamilyClix has closed
FamilyClix has now closed. You can no longer join it, earn from it or get your earnings out. I keep my review below as a record. The sites I would pick instead to earn by clicking ads are further down.
FamilyClix was a Paid-To-Click (PTC) site that paid you for viewing ads. It has now closed. I tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.
FamilyClix has closed
FamilyClix has closed, so you can no longer earn on it or get your earnings out. When it was running, it was not a scam, but every ad paid less than a penny.

The short answer
FamilyClix has closed. You can no longer earn from it or get your earnings out.
When it was running, it was not a scam: it paid you for clicking and viewing ads. But each ad paid $0.005 at most, so you had to click thousands of ads to earn a real amount, and the site pushed you to “spend more to earn more” with paid upgrades and rented referrals.
- Plenty of ads and offers available
- A low payout threshold of $2
- Available globally
- FamilyClix has closed
- Very low rewards per ad
- A transaction fee on every withdrawal
- Some important info was missing on the website
- Many pop-up ads, also when you tried to register
- No help with suspended accounts
My experience with FamilyClix
I signed up for FamilyClix and went through every way to earn, the payout options, the upgrades and the support page. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

- Signing up, which took several clicks because of pop-up ads

- The membership upgrades
- The website on a phone

- Renting referrals or buying an upgrade. I would not spend my own money to earn on a site like this.

Was FamilyClix legit and safe?
FamilyClix has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was not a scam, because it paid you for clicking and viewing ads. These were the catches.
- It has closed
You can no longer earn from FamilyClix or get your earnings out.
- Very low pay per ad
Each ad paid $0.005 at most, less than a penny. To earn a real amount, you had to click thousands of ads.
- Spend more to earn more
To earn more, FamilyClix pushed you to buy membership upgrades and rent referrals. There was no guarantee that rented referrals were active, so you could end up losing money.
- Flip the Coin was a betting game
You bet part of your balance on heads or tails. You could lose all your earnings if you did not control yourself.
- Many pop-up ads
Clicking Register often opened a pop-up ad instead of the sign-up form, and pop-up ads also appeared at random on the member dashboard.
- No help with suspended accounts
Fake proof for a PTSU offer could get your account banned and your earnings forfeited. FamilyClix also said not to contact them about restoring a suspended account.
My takeFamilyClix has closed, so it is no longer an option. Even when it was running, it was not my cup of tea: to earn a real amount, you had to spend your own money first. There are simply better sites to spend your time on. See the alternatives below.
How you earned on FamilyClix
There were seven ways to earn. Tap one to read more.
Paid adsUp to $0.005 per ad
The main way to earn. There were six types of ads: Standard, Bonus, Micro, Tiny, Mini and Extended. Extended ads paid the most.
You clicked an ad, waited until the loading bar completed and confirmed the captcha. Then the reward was credited to your account.
Each ad paid $0.005 at most. Other parts of the site also asked you to view a certain number of ads first.
Paid offersSet per offer
The higher-paying way to earn, with more effort. The offers came from other PTC and GPT sites, like an offerwall.
Most offers asked you to answer a survey, sign up to a website, answer a quiz, watch a video or play a game. You had to follow the instructions carefully to get the reward.
Paid-to-sign-up (PTSU) offersSet per offer
You signed up as a member of other sites and submitted proof, usually a screenshot of the completed registration.
You first had to view at least 150 ads, of any type. Fake proof could get your account banned and your earnings forfeited. Many of these offers were not worth the time, in my opinion.
Bonus gameSmall prizes
Once a day, you clicked the Click To Play button for a random prize: banner credits, credit to buy ads on the site, or a small amount for your account balance.
Each play opened a pop-up ad. You had to let it load before closing it, and not use an adblocker.
Flip the CoinA betting game
You chose heads or tails and placed a bet from your account balance. If you won, you received the amount you bet. If you lost, it was deducted.
This was not really a profitable game, because you could lose all your earnings.
ClixGrid cloneUp to $0.050
You clicked anywhere on a grid for a chance to win up to $0.050. Each click opened a sponsor’s site for up to 10 seconds, and then you saw if you had won.
Free members had 20 chances a day, reset at midnight server time. Upgrades gave you more.
Referral programA share of their ad clicks
You earned a percentage, by membership type, of the value of 4 Standard ads your referrals clicked, for 30 days. You also earned from their Extended ads, which were not available every day.
You could also rent referrals with your purchase balance. I am not a fan of this, because there was no guarantee the rented referrals were active.
How much could you make?
Not much. Every ad paid a very small amount, so you had to view thousands of ads to earn a real amount. That was tedious and not the best use of your time.
To earn more, you could buy a membership upgrade, also with your earnings. Upgrades paid more per ad, raised your referral limit and your withdrawal limit, and gave you a higher commission from your referrals. But you had to plan carefully to earn back what you spent, or you would end up losing money.
How FamilyClix paid
You could request a payout from $2. The website only mentioned Neteller. You found out about PayPal and Payza once you reached the payout threshold.
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | $2 | A transaction fee per withdrawal |
| Payza | $2 | A transaction fee per withdrawal |
| Neteller | $5 | Neteller rules. A request below $5 was refunded. |
As a free member, you could withdraw $2 every 7 days. Upgrades raised that limit. Every withdrawal had a transaction fee, so you did not get the full amount you requested.
