Dominoes Gold App Review – Legit or Scam? (A Detailed Look)

Dominoes Gold Rating

You should only consider Dominoes Gold an option if you are good at playing Dominoes. But if you are not confident with your Dominoes skills, then you are better off finding other ways to earn extra cash.

Dominoes Gold is an iOS game where you can play Dominoes for real money. I tested it to see if it is a good way to earn. It is legit, but cash games cost money to enter, so you can lose money, and small withdrawals carry a fee. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit, but you can lose money and nothing is guaranteed

A skill-based Dominoes game for iOS. Cash games cost money to enter, and withdrawals under $10 cost $1.50.

The short answer

Dominoes Gold is legit, because you can really win money from the games you play. You play Dominoes against other players for Z coins, tickets or cash, and withdraw cash winnings through PayPal or bank transfer.

But it is not a guaranteed way to earn. Cash games cost money to enter, so if you lose, you lose money. The free route is slow: 20,000 tickets are worth $1 in bonus cash. Withdrawals under $10 cost $1.50. Only consider it if you are good at Dominoes.

What I like
  • A fun way to potentially earn extra cash
  • The app is user-friendly
  • No annoying pop-up ads
  • PayPal and bank transfer, with no payout threshold
What I don’t like
  • Does not offer a guaranteed way to earn
  • You can end up losing money
  • High withdrawal fees: $1.50 under $10
  • Only available on iOS
  • Not available in some US states

My experience with Dominoes Gold

Is Dominoes Gold legit and safe?

Yes, Dominoes Gold is legit, because you can really win money. But that does not automatically mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • You can lose money

Cash games and big-money events cost an entry fee. If you do not win, you lose that money. That is how skill-based games work, so only play for cash if you are confident in your skills.

  • High fees on small withdrawals

Withdrawals under $10 cost a $1.50 service fee. Wait until you have more than $10 before you withdraw.

  • The free route is slow

Games played with Z coins pay tickets, not cash. 20,000 tickets are worth $1 in bonus cash, which you can only use for entry fees, not withdraw.

  • A reader reports a prize dispute

In June 2026, a reader reported receiving a much smaller prize than the game he won showed, and said support did not accept his video. It is one report, but record your game and contact support right away if a prize looks wrong.

  • iOS only, and not in every US state

There is no Android app. Cash tournaments are prohibited in Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana and South Dakota.

My takeIn my opinion, you should only consider Dominoes Gold as an option if you are good at playing dominoes. But if you are not confident with your domino skills, then you are better off finding other ways to earn extra cash, preferably ones that offer a guaranteed way to earn.

Dominoes Gold asks you to risk money. These sites and apps let you earn without spending anything.

How you earn on Dominoes Gold

There are 2 ways to earn. Playing Dominoes is the main one. Tap one to read more.

Playing DominoesSkill-based, can lose
How to earn from Dominoes Gold

Start with practice games to learn the game. You compete with other players for Z coins and tickets. Then you use them to enter real-time matches, where you bet Z coins, tickets or cash against an opponent, and the winner takes the pot.

Head-to-head games are played with your cash balance, and you can deposit money into your account. From time to time, there are big-money events with an entry fee, usually more than $5. If you win, you win a significant amount. If you do not, you lose money.

Games played with Z coins never pay cash, only tickets. To go the free route, convert tickets to bonus cash (20,000 tickets for $1) and use it for entry fees. Bonus cash cannot be withdrawn.

Referral program$1 bonus cash

Share your referral link. When someone installs the app and deposits money, you get $1 in bonus cash, which you can only use for entry fees. It is not a very profitable referral program.

How much can you make?

It mostly depends on how good you are at Dominoes. If you are great at it, you can win a lot of games. If you are bad at it, you just lose money, if you deposited some.

Some games let you win $6 to $8, and some events have a cash prize of $70 or more. But the earning potential is relatively low, because you have to spend money to play cash games. The free route takes quite some time, so be very patient. For other options, see the best ways to earn money by playing games online.

Payout methods and fees

MethodMinimumFee
PayPalNone$1.50 on withdrawals under $10
Direct bank transferNone$1.50 on withdrawals under $10
Products (appliances, gadgets)Millions of ticketsFrom time to time

Your cash winnings go to your account balance, and you can withdraw them anytime. Because of the fee, withdraw only when you have more than $10. Products cost millions of tickets, so converting tickets to bonus cash is the better option, in my opinion. For more sites with a convenient payout method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Devices, joining and support

Dominoes Gold is mobile-only and only available on iOS. If you have an Android phone, see the best money-making apps for Android. The app is easy to use, without annoying pop-up ads.

The app does not say which countries it is available in, but from what I can see, it is available more or less worldwide. It is prohibited in Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana and South Dakota. You sign up with login credentials or your Apple account in less than a minute.

The Help section covers most basic topics and has a tutorial on how to play. For anything else, fill out the form in the Support section. That is the minimum required support, in my opinion.

A prize lower than the game showed1 comment

A reader reports he received the prize of a smaller game than the one he won, and that support did not accept his recording.

“I played a game where you put $60.00 and if you win they give you back $100.00 but when I won the game they only gave me $4.00 that is the reward of a $10.00 game.”

  1. Dominoes gold is a fraud they are rolling people. I played a game where you put $60.00 and if you win they give you back $100.00 but when I won the game they only gave me $4.00 that is the reward of a $10.00 game. I sent them the video that I had recorded while playing and where you can clearly see that the game is for $100.00 but even having the video they answer me that I am wrong.
