Is DollarTub Legit or a Scam? (REAL TRUTH Revealed)

DollarTub Rating

I don’t recommend you waste your time on DollarTub. Even though what it offers seems promising, you will never earn anything from it because it will not let you withdraw your earnings.

Warning: DollarTub does not pay

DollarTub claims to pay you for watching movie trailers, but you will never earn anything from it, because it will not let you withdraw your earnings. It only shows you the $100 minimum cashout when you try to withdraw. Readers who reached it in 2024 and 2025 were then asked to complete a “verification”, including 25 referral invitations, and none of them told me they got paid.

DollarTub claims you can earn money by watching YouTube videos and trailers from Netflix, Disney+ and more. I tested it to see if it is legit. It is not: the rewards are unrealistic and it does not pay. Below is what I found, the red flags, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

DollarTub does not pay. Do not waste your time on it.

It claims $0.61 to $0.99 per video trailer, but hides its $100 minimum cashout and then adds hidden requirements before you can withdraw.

The short answer

DollarTub does not pay. It claims you earn $0.61 to $0.99 for every 30- to 40-second trailer you watch. Sites that offer this kind of opportunity typically pay around $0.05 to $0.1 per video, and those are the good ones.

DollarTub hides how you can withdraw until you try, and then asks for at least $100. Readers who reached it were asked to complete extra requirements, such as inviting 25 people. You will never earn anything from it, so I recommend the far better options below instead.

What I like
  • None. I found nothing I can recommend.
What I don’t like
  • Offers outrageous earning claims
  • Not transparent with the payout options
  • A $100 minimum cashout, shown only when you try to withdraw
  • Hidden requirements before you can cash out
  • Unrealistic claims regarding the companies they have partnered with
  • The site won’t let you log out

My experience with DollarTub

I signed up for DollarTub, watched videos, checked the referral program and tried to make a withdrawal. This is what I did, and what I could not confirm.

Is DollarTub legit or a scam?

DollarTub is not a legit way to earn, because you will never be able to withdraw your earnings. These are the red flags I found while testing it.

  • Outrageous earnings claims

The pay on a legit rewards site matches the time and effort. Sites that offer the same kind of opportunity typically pay around $0.05 to $0.1 per video, and those are the good ones. At least $0.60 per video is cause for alarm.

  • Not transparent with the payout options

You only learn the $100 threshold when you try to withdraw. Every time I test a site that only tells you how to withdraw at the last minute, it means I won’t be getting the money I’ve earned.

  • Hidden requirements at cashout

Readers who reached $100 or more were told to complete a “verification” before they could withdraw, such as inviting 25 people or a KYC check without a working link. None of them told me they got paid.

  • Name-dropping big companies

DollarTub’s homepage says it has partnered with Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and others. There’s no way these huge companies need a relatively unknown site to promote them.

  • You can’t log out

The site won’t let you log out, and readers asked me how to delete their DollarTub account.

My takeI don’t recommend you waste your time on DollarTub. Even though what it offers seems promising, you will never earn anything from it because it will not let you withdraw your earnings. If someone invited you, warn the people you invited too.

How DollarTub says you earn

DollarTub offers two ways to earn on paper. Neither leads to a payout.

Watching videos$0.61 to $0.99 claimed
Watching trailers on DollarTub

When you log in, you immediately see the video to watch. Click Play, and a pop-up window and countdown appear. If you switch to another tab or window, the video stops and the countdown pauses.

After the video, the amount is credited to your DollarTub balance, and you click Watch Next Video. The videos are mostly movie and TV series trailers, and there seems to be an unlimited number of them. It looks like an easy way to earn, but that’s not really the case.

Referral program$5 + 10% claimed
DollarTub referral program

You share your invite link. When someone signs up, you supposedly earn $5 right away and 10% every time your referral earns.

Normally, referral programs have requirements before you can earn, and programs without any requirements usually don’t pay a lot. That’s why I immediately became wary. DollarTub is not something I would refer to my friends.

Payout methods and minimum

When I tested it, DollarTub listed four payout options. You only see the threshold when you attempt a withdrawal, and nobody has told me they got paid through any of them.

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$100No payout I know of
Paytm$100No payout I know of
CashApp$100No payout I know of
Direct bank transfer$100No payout I know of

Based on my experience, sites like this make it harder and harder to hit the threshold as you get closer. If you do reach it, you are asked to meet an outrageous requirement, such as inviting a certain number of people, and then there is another hurdle.

Sites that really pay you tell you up front how you can cash out, with no additional requirements. If you want to withdraw quickly and easily, see the fastest paying sites instead.
