DollarClix has closed
DollarClix has shut down and is no longer a way to earn extra money on the side. Its website now just redirects to SayMore, a different survey site (see my SayMore review). You cannot join or earn on DollarClix now. I keep my review below as a record. The sites I would pick instead are further down.
DollarClix paid you for surveys, offers, short videos and referrals. It has now shut down. I tested it myself before that. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.

The short answer
DollarClix has shut down. Its website now redirects to SayMore, and you can no longer join or earn on DollarClix.
When it was running, it was legit: it paid you for completing its offers and other activities. But the payment system was complicated, with a different threshold for each payout method and a fee on some of them, and there were many better options, in my opinion.

- Had several payment options
- You could join regardless of where you lived

- The payment system was a bit complicated

Was DollarClix legit and safe?
DollarClix has shut down, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, because it did pay you for completing its offers. These were the catches.
- It has shut down
DollarClix is no longer a way to earn extra money. Its website now just redirects to SayMore.
- A complicated payment system
Every payout method had its own threshold, and some charged a small withdrawal fee. If you could only use a bank wire, you had to reach $25.
- Offers were not always credited right away
Offers on the offerwalls sometimes took a while to be validated. If several days passed without the reward, you had to contact support.
- Referral earnings needed activity
You had to be active every 7 days, by clicking at least 10 cents worth of links, to keep earning from your referrals.
My takeDollarClix has shut down, so it is no longer an option. Even when it was running, it was not worth it, in my opinion. There were many better options. See the alternatives below.
How you earned on DollarClix
There were four ways to earn. Tap each one to read more.
Paid surveysSet per survey
DollarClix had its own paid surveys, and daily surveys that worked as a survey router for surveys from other survey sites.
With its own surveys, you answered the pre-qualifying questions, and if you qualified, you got the reward when you finished. With the daily surveys, you picked an offer and went to the site that hosted it. You could take any number of these each day.
Some sites limited how often you could take a survey per day, surveys were not always available, and you did not always qualify.
Paid offersSet per offer
Most of your earnings would likely come from paid offers, such as signing up to a website or doing something on social media.
DollarClix had its own offers and plenty of offerwalls, so you did not run out of things to do. You had to follow the instructions to the letter to get the reward.
Offerwall rewards were sometimes not credited right away. If several days passed and you still had no reward, you could contact support.
Watching videosLow
You could watch short clips hosted on another site and get a reward for each one, as long as there were videos to watch.
In my experience, the rewards for these videos were not much. But it could be a fun way to spend your extra time.
Referral program20% + 10%
You earned a 20% commission on what the people you invited earned, and 10% on what the people they invited earned.
You had to be active every 7 days to earn from your referrals. To count as active, you had to click on at least 10 cents worth of links.
You could share your referral link, or put a referral banner on your website.

How much could you make?
It depended on how active you were. There were lots of offers, so you could earn a decent amount, but not get rich. It took a significant amount of time to earn a significant amount of money.
What I liked most was the 20% referral commission, which was relatively high. The downside was the different thresholds per payout method.
How DollarClix paid
Your account showed two values: your point balance and your account balance in dollars. You converted points to cash at 1 point = 1 cent and withdrew your account balance. You could also convert cash back to points to redeem rewards, but that option was not always available.
| Method | Notes |
|---|---|
| Bank wire | $25 minimum |
| Tipalti | Its newest option. Paid you via PayPal, check, ACH or transfer. |
| Virtual Visa and prepaid Mastercard | Its own threshold, lower than the bank wire |
| Gift cards | Flipkart, Bigabazar, Shopperstop, Tesco card, Amazon and Tango Card, each with its own threshold |
Some payout methods charged a small withdrawal fee, so you had to take that into account. For sites that let you withdraw quickly, see the fastest paying survey sites.
Who could join DollarClix?
Anybody could join. There was no geographic restriction, but the earning opportunities depended on where you lived.
You filled out the form on the website and clicked the link in the confirmation email. You did not even have to give your birth date. DollarClix said you had to be at least 18, and you also had to meet the age requirement of the payout method you used.
