I tried Clawee to see if you can really win prizes with it. You can, because you control a real claw machine from your phone. But you pay to play, you pay to ship your prizes, and you never win money. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Legit and fun, but it costs you money
You win plushies and keychains, not cash. Coins, shipping and possible customs fees cost more than the prizes are worth.

The short answer
Clawee is legit, because you can win prizes from playing the game. You control a real claw machine through a live feed in the app.
But you will not earn any money. You win plushies, keychains and other small items. Only your first game is free. After that, you buy coins to play, and you pay for shipping, and sometimes customs fees, to get your prizes. In my opinion, Clawee is simply not worth using, even though it can be fun.
- Offers a fun and easy way to win prizes
- Available worldwide
- The app is user-friendly
- No annoying pop-up ads while you play
- Doesn’t offer cash rewards
- You must buy coins to keep playing
- You pay for shipping, and sometimes customs fees
- The prizes are generic and not worth much
My experience with Clawee
I installed Clawee, played my free game and looked at the prizes, the coin store, the shipping options and the support page. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Clawee legit and safe?
Yes, Clawee is legit, because you can win prizes from playing the game. But it is not a way to earn. Here is what you should know before you install it.
- You pay to play
The app does not tell you this right away. Your first game is free, because you get free coins for joining. Once you have used them, you have to buy coins in the Clawee store to play more games.
- Shipping and customs fees
Shipping is not free. Your prizes are shipped from Israel, so the package goes through customs, and depending on your country, there can be a fee to claim it. Shipping and other fees can cost more than $15. If you ship, wait until you have won several prizes.
- The prizes are not worth much
The prizes are generic. You can probably buy them in a store in your country for around $5 to $10 at most. That is my best guess. In my opinion, it costs significantly less to just buy the item.
- Readers report slow deliveries and unexpected charges
In 2023 and 2024, readers wrote that they waited weeks or months for their prizes, that a Clawee Club member was still asked to pay for shipping, and that more money was taken from an account than expected. Other readers received all their prizes. These reports are a few years old. If something like this happens to you, contact Clawee support.
- The Clawee Club costs money too
The membership takes care of the shipping fee, but it costs around $8 to $10 per month. In my opinion, that is still not worth it, even though you save money on shipping.
My takeIn my opinion, Clawee is an app that is simply not worth using, even though it can be fun. You end up spending a significant amount of money just to get the prizes you have won, and you also have to spend money to play the game. The prizes are very generic and can usually be found in your local store, so you are better off just buying them.
How Clawee works
There is only one way to win: the claw game.
The claw gamePrizes, not cash
You are not playing a digital claw game. You see a live feed of an actual claw machine and control it remotely with the app.
Log in and choose a machine. The machines are listed by the prize you can win, and each costs a certain number of coins to play. If other members are playing the same machine, you wait in line and get notified when it is your turn.
Press play, then hold the arrow button to move the claw. Release the button, and the claw drops and tries to grab the prize. If it drops the prize in the claim area, press the claim button to receive it.
Your first game is free with the coins you get for joining (200 coins when I tested it). After that, you have to buy coins from the store to keep playing.
How much can you make?
Technically, you will not earn any money from this app. The prizes are also not worth much. You can maybe buy them from a store in your country for around $5 to $10 at most. That is my best guess.
Then you pay for shipping and possibly other fees, which can cost more than $15, depending on your country. You also have to count the money you spend on coins, because playing is not free.
Overall, I would say the earning potential of this app is simply very low. If you like the prizes, look for them in your local store. You will most likely find something similar, or even better, for a fraction of the cost.
How you get your prizes
| Option | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ship your prizes | You pay for shipping | Shipped from Israel. Customs fees can apply, depending on your country. |
| Clawee Club | Around $8 to $10 per month | Your winnings are shipped for free |
You cannot cash out. Once you have won a prize, you ask Clawee to ship it to your address. It is best to only do this when you have won several prizes, because that is more cost-efficient, shipping-wise.
You are better off joining apps or sites that let you earn cash. See the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Clawee is 100% legit , I have received all items I have won including a gaming head set which is really great quality and my son loves! It took a little over 6 weeks or so to receive my first package of winnings but I received the headset literally like a week after I won it! Clawee is fun, it’s real, you just have to be patient!
Thanks for sharing your experiences.
They have taken way much more money from my account then they should have! Like hundreds and hundreds have come out all on same day!!!
You need to contact their support about this.
