These sites pay much more per study than normal survey panels, but the high-paying studies are not always available, and you have to qualify for each one. Below I show what you do on each site, when you can cash out and how it pays.

7 Best high-paying survey and research sites
Now that you know what to expect from these sites in terms of earning potential, it’s time we discuss the actual options to choose from. This is not a prioritized list, so you can just choose which ones suit you best.
In fact, if you want to maximize your earnings, you should join multiple websites to gain access to more earning opportunities. I will keep updating this list if I discover more high-paying survey sites, so make sure to bookmark this page and check on it from time to time for new opportunities.
#1 Respondent

- Available in
- More or less worldwide
- What you do
- Research projects; apply for up to 3 a day
- Cash out from
- None5% or $1 fee per payment
- Paid via
- PayPal
Respondent is one of the higher-paying survey sites around. What’s great about this site is that it consistently offers high-paying surveys. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to qualify for each opportunity to earn from them, and you can only apply for three opportunities per day.
So, make sure to choose which ones to apply for wisely. It pays via PayPal, and you don’t have to reach a certain threshold to withdraw your earnings. You’ll also get paid after every activity you complete. Just bear in mind that there will be a service fee involved during withdrawal, so don’t expect to receive the full amount.
#2 User Interviews

- Available in
- Worldwide, but most opportunities are in the US
- What you do
- Online interviews and focus groups · mostly US
- Cash out from
- Nonepaid per study
- Paid via
- PayPal · Bank transfer · Gift cards
User Interviews is a bit different from most of the other sites on this list, because most of the paid opportunities here will require you to do online one-on-one interviews or participate in online focus groups.
It’s not easy to qualify for these opportunities, but if you do qualify, you get to earn a significant amount every time. I have seen examples of studies that pay up to $250 for a 45-minute online interview.
The payment method will depend on the study, but will usually be done with PayPal cash or gift cards.
#3 dscout

- Available in
- Worldwide
- What you do
- Missions in the app · Android and iOS
- Cash out from
- Nonepaid after the mission deadline
- Paid via
- PayPal
dscout is a micro-task mobile app that will pay you for participating in missions. Some of these missions will involve answering surveys and completing other tasks. On average, you’ll earn around $1 per minute, which is a great rate, in my opinion.
It pays via PayPal, but you have to wait for the deadline of the mission before the payment will be processed and sent to your PayPal account.
It is available worldwide, so anyone can sign up as a member of the app. As for the app, it works on both Android and iOS devices.
#4 Vocal Views

- Available in
- Worldwide, but most opportunities are in the US
- What you do
- Focus groups, interviews, product tests · mostly US
- Cash out from
- Paid per study
- Paid via
- PayPal · Bank transfer
Vocal Views is a market research company that recruits people to take part in various paid research projects, like online focus groups, interviews, home product testing, and more. The opportunities available on this site are not as many as compared to the other sites on this list, but they do pay a decent amount per study.
Payments are processed quickly and can be sent directly to your bank account or via other convenient methods once you’ve completed a study. It is available worldwide, but most of the opportunities are for those who live in the US, based on what I’ve observed.
#5 Prolific

- Available in
- Prolific is on my list for 3 countriesThis shows my country lists, not a check of who can sign up. It can also work in other countries.
- What you do
- Academic studies
- Cash out from
- $6or £6
- Paid via
- PayPal
Short summary:
Prolific is a unique survey site because it specializes in academic surveys. So, if you like contributing to the newest research, this might be a good site for you. It pays a good amount per survey as well.
You can join from most countries, but in some countries, you will very rarely have available surveys. And overall, it does not have as many surveys as many of the other sites on this list. Plus, it doesn’t always accept new members, which is a good thing because it means that the number of available surveys will not be too far below the number of actual members.
You can withdraw your earnings in cash via PayPal once you have earned £6 or $6.
#6 Mindswarms

- Available in
- Worldwide
- What you do
- Video surveys · app
- Cash out from
- Nonepaid automatically per survey
- Paid via
- PayPal
Short summary:
Mindswarms is a paid survey platform that used to have a website you could log in to answer surveys. Now, you can only use the app to access the earning opportunities offered by the platform. The surveys available here are a bit unique because they are actually video surveys, which means you’ll have to record yourself while answering the questions.
It pays via PayPal, and you don’t need to reach a threshold to withdraw your earnings, since they will pay you every time you complete a survey. It pays around $50 to $70 per survey, but the challenge is that there are very few opportunities, so make sure to grab the opportunity if you see one.
#7 FocusGroup.com

- Available in
- US
- What you do
- Surveys, focus groups, product tests · US only
- Cash out from
- $10
- Paid via
- Visa cards · Amazon gift cards
Short summary:
FocusGroup.com is a site that offers online surveys and other research opportunities, like focus groups (hence the name), as a way for you to earn some extra money and have your opinion heard. You’ll find a decent number of opportunities that pay well above $50 per hour, but qualifying for them won’t be that easy. So, you have to be very patient.
Its biggest downside is that it doesn’t offer PayPal as a payout option anymore, but you can still get paid in various gift cards or a prepaid Visa card. You’ll need to earn at least $10 to redeem a reward.
It is only available in the US, so if you live somewhere else, this is not for you.
What to expect?
Do not expect high pay right away and all the time. These sites are different from typical survey panels where you can take surveys at any time. They usually offer specific studies or interviews you have to qualify for first.
- Complete your profileAnswer honestly and in detail. The more detailed your profile, the more likely you get high-paying invitations.
- Get invitationsThe site sends you studies that match your background, like your profession, habits or the products you use.
- Respond quicklyCheck your email regularly. The best-paying opportunities fill up fast, in my experience.
Many of these platforms have different types of tasks:
- Online questionnaires
- Video interviews
- Product testing
- Usability tests
- Focus groups
More interesting work
The tasks that pay the most take a bit more time and effort, but they are often more interesting than regular surveys.
A mix of studies
Expect a mix of lower-paying surveys and occasional high-paying studies.
